As a fan of Italian football, I notice one thing all these years: In Serie A, the most successful clubs are the one that's being run the best from outside the pitch, because there's not as much money to do band-aid solutions. That was Juventus for the last decade, until recently Inter took Marotta when he was let go by Juve as CEO to clean their own house (hence, Inter's revival). Milan's recent resurgence is also due to similar reasons. ⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽

Juventus haven't fallen, we allowed our club to stagnate a little bit with titles 7,8, and 9. Now we are transitioning to a younger squad that needs a season or two to really work together and a returning manager who can make that happen. Personally not the one I wanted, but I will always support my team through thick and thin. We will dominate Italian football once again In due time.

I respect that and I don’t think juve will be this way for long but there has been a serious decline in the quality of football and the standard past juve sides set, and you all are very fortunate that inter are in financial shambles because if they were able to keep lukaku, hakimi and conte around and bring in new players I think they would’ve dominated for the next 4-5 seasons

    • @nowayjose1313

Yeah I wouldn't say it is a fall either. Juve still won two trophies last year and made it last the Champions League stage group.
This year they started too slow but are undefeated in Champions, beating Chelsea, and are mathematically past the group stage already.
They are still contenders for any Italian trophy but the Scudetto.
Juve was one year aways from 10 straight Scudettos. The run had to end sometime.
If this is a fall then every Serie A club would like a fall like this.

The problem was signing Ronaldo . I don’t mean him as a player but juve really sacrificed a lot money to sign Ronaldo . And then signing players like Rabiot and Ramsey for free with way too high salary ,while one is doing 1 good game in 10 games and the other one didn’t play 2 games straight without injuries . To feed Ronaldo with balls we needed especially great midfielders ,which we had not and couldn’t afford due the pandemic and the high salary of Ronaldo and co. The mentality also went completely away since allegri left .

Juve have not really fallen. They are still the Italian club likeliest to go far in the UCL this year. And they may still win the title this season.Maybe you can say that they've lost their dominance but they are still competitive in all competition..
Also the Juve dominance was partly due to their traditional rivals....Inter and AC Milan went through years of terrible management. They essentially had no real domestic rivals.... financially and on the pitch.
But now the 2 Milan clubs are back on track and it seems like Juve are underperforming..when in truth the league has just got better and their rivals have got it Right.

Juventus won 9 in row because both Inter and Milan were at their historical weakest. Roma and Napoli have never been real competition for Juve...it is the 2 Milan clubs that have the historical significance and power to compete with Juve
