9:52, If you're running OBS 29+, they improved the encoders for AMD and easily competes with NVENC, so definitely use your AMD GPU for stream encoding.

You should use Nvenc for recording/streaming(GPU)(if I'm spelling it right). It doesn't affect your FPS because it uses separate chip that games don't use.
I wish @thevideonerd had included instructions for the Recording tab too. I watched the 2022 video, but some of the settings have changed for 2023, like under Encorder settings there's now "Preset", "Tuning", and "Multipass Mode". I could sure use some help figuring out the best selections for those. I only use OBS for recording games, because Nvidia's included Shadowplay recorder has been flawed for several months now.

Nvidia Nvench is better for me if I have RTX 4080 right? Also why Multipass mode as Single Pass? every guide tells me to use Two passes quarter or full. I tested with full, it felt like the stream was a bit heavier looking to run so next Ill try the quarter one and then after that I try Single pass.
This worked really well except my Audio is terribly out of sync with the gameplay. There is a 3 to 7 second delay to when a game sound reaches my headphones. I'm not sure how to fix it.

Do you have to manually go in in order to change your settings? For example, if I was streaming I might want to do 720p 30FPS but if I was recording I might prefer to have 1080p 60FPS. Is that what the profiles are for?
5:55 I'm new to streaming but from what I can work out a new streamer setting their bitrate to 8000 Kbps would be a really bad idea because only Twitch Partners get transcoding which lets people watch in lower resolutions so viewers with a slow internet speed might be unable to watch your stream as it would be all choppy? Please let me know if I'm wrong about this.

how to access the second audio track in any video editor? the second track never plays in pinnacle studio 26 or various free editors, its just the first audio track. in vlc however, i can select both audio tracks seperately and hear them. it cant be that you have to extract audio tracks and add them in editors manually????

I'm not a beginners but I have a question I use a dual setup pc my streaming pc built rtx 2080 ryzen 3600 32gb ddr4 ram I have no problem streaming at the max settings as possibile but when I stream or record something and I use my logitch c920 after a while I noticed that the audio of my voice is not well synchronized with the webcam the rest of the video or live is perfect I don't understand the reason so I give up using it 🙄👍

HOW did you get 600mbps download speed :O Do you work at Telenet? We have to restart our router daily to get maybe half that speed haha!

If your streaming to twitch most people will be watching on a mobile device so you don't need a huge upload speed if your struggling
