I'm having this video for breakfast! Meaning I eat and live for OBS tutorials!😌Thanks brother! Going to be re-watching your overlay video as well as applying a "neon overlay". You are one of my go to favorite tutorial guides! Thanks so much!
ive been wating about a month for my pc and have been getting ready. all i need to study obs and this comes out today… my pc is set to arrive today…prayers answered
Dang! This guy doesn't lie. This video is FILLED with good stuff. I had to go into YT setting and cut his playback speed to .75, but it was all good. Thanks for a great video!
Been using OBS Studio for a year and a half now. I’m not going to lie, I know 90% of these BUT that’s mainly due to me doing my research, playing with the programme everyday and learning from experience (which makes you a lot better IMO) HOWEVER if I was to start out again, not knowing OBS at all, then this video is a goldmine. All the basics, all the more advanced things someone could know to get the most out of OBS and also all the information is there up front. This video is incredible! Good job sir!
Hello, Thank you for all the videos you did. I've came across a coment in another video i believe in which that guy was saying that you started to lose motivation and he tried to cheer you up. Since i love the work you've been doing i decided that i would do the same, there is never enough good vibes sent to someone. I have been across many videos that try to explain stuff, make them simple and on many many many subjects. I'm actually a network engineer and part of my job is to explain technical and hard to grasp notions to people that are not so technical so i believe i'm legitimate to say what i will say next. You brother are really talented at explaining and presenting stuff. Your videos are well paced, clear, warm and well balanced. I see traits of a real teacher (like repeting many times, within a single video or across several videos, the same notions at proper timing). You have an act for transmitting knowledge. I can safely say that the numbers (views, money) do not do you justice. You deserve more and you're not cheap in the amount of content you give us. I am starting to stream and i am thankful to God that i found you. I do pray you get more reward for you work than you have now because you deserve more. I hope these words find you well! Keep it up !
oh wow, there are so many tips in here that i never knew existed. things would have been so much easier starting out if i knew these a year ago omg. i definitely added some of the changes right off the bat (studio mode, recording settings, etc) and i'll add more tomorrow :D thank you so so so much!!
I love this guy, thanks to him I was able to add twitch alerts to my streams such as new followers, chat on screen, emotes on screen, etc, which all made my stream look way more professional than it used to.
Damn. Great video. Thanks for the information. I've been going for just over a year and this taught me some good stuff I'll be able to use. Appreciate it
easily the best content creator to go to for tips. I would be asking myself how to do something and the very next tip you go over is what I was thinking. Thanks for helping me make my streams higher quality! Keep up the good work man you're doing the RUclips god's work!
13:06, Now, if you choose the same resolution for base and output, the Downscale filter will be grayed out and say, "Resolutions match, no downscaling required."
TY for this video. good job. I appreciate the effort put in to making this video. I like how you present different tips in a way that simplifies the basics and heads you in the right direction if you would like to learn more. keep up the good work.
Question about tip #17, why not just use the general option "automatically record when streaming" instead of putting up two instances? Is there some benefit to doing it your way?
Potentially if you have two different layouts - like if you want your camera overlaid on gameplay for the stream but also want to record clean gameplay for other uses.
Fantastic video! Do you know of an OBS plugin that handles multi chat similar to the Restream Chat feature? I stream to multiple locations at the same time and would like to have all the chats show up in my stream if possible. Thanks for your help.
There's a problem with 00:25 #2 auto scene switcher I want it to switch to a certain scene when I open Opera Browser, but unfortunately it doesn't, it switches only in a certain page. Because I had to open a blank page in order to see the app on the dropdown list, and it showed ' Opera Browser Blank Main Page' so it only switches on when it's blank page and when I want to go to any other website it doesn't show. It goes back to main scene. Any fix?
Bit of a question, for something I’m guilty of, and you kind of touch on it here, but I want to ask what do you guys think my best option is, to help me sort it…. So my 2 main scenes I switch between are “chat” and “game” And I’m terrible at forgetting to switch to my gaming scene from my chat channel and my chat has to remind me a lot, they can’t see my game scene. I thought your “auto scene switcher” would help me fix it. But i don’t think it will help me, because I only use my stream deck to change between scenes. But like I say I often forget to do this. So simple question, what is my best option in case I forget to change to my “game” scene.? Would really appreciate any help in fixing this small but annoying thing that I do.👍
Great video but still receiving audio problems. I'm using an Elgato Hd and I setup my audio exactly how you did. Everything works great in OBS. Have my different Audio Channels in their lines. Audio works in OBS But on my stream I get no audio at all?
Nice! Every time I record. My head talking video doesn’t keep up with my voice. I have tried my phone as a webcam and my integrated webcam. My laptop is from 2016. Got a video recommend on how to fix that?
Doesn't sending your audio to different audio tracks mess up the stream sound though? Since you can only send one track to twitch/youtube? Or am I missing something?
HI and thank you so much for the afford you bring in every single video. Im a twitch streamer since 4ever and i never figured out one thing´: How can i separate the Spotify sound in OBS-Studio in order to only cut out the music for the VOD ? I use the Elgate wave link mic and software if this is helpfull for the answer. But my issue is that everything bysides the microfon is going in the same source, so you are able to here only my Voice in the VOD. Thanks so much for the videos, reallly high high level content what you are providing. Cheers and greetings from Italy/germany :)
Cant get any .png to work properly, or at all. I've converted to .png online, downloaded .png, converted .png to .png etc and it doesnt work like yours did, it works the opposite actually haha. Am I missing something?
