I believe that regardless you can get a EF>RF adaptor and STILL use your new camera. I have a R50 and I’m using mostly EF glass on it and it works great for my needs. Generally most users will be fine with EF glass cause it’s still just as good depending on your situation. So using EF glass opens up MANY third party options as well.
This guy was so biased every time canon won he was like "its a tie, its a give or take" 😂
As of the date of this writing, the cost difference in the US had become much more substantial - $649 for R50 with kit lens vs. $998 for a6400 with kit lens. How does this tilt the evaluation in your opinion?
in 2024 sony a6400 buy .
what about r50 for photography
Hello! I'm a beginner filmmaker and sort of advanced when it comes to photography. Which camera do you think is better? i'm currently considering buying the canon r50 but I'm still having second thoughts because r50 has limited lens selection, doesn't have c-log, and is not good in low light.
Sony A6400 It's going to be better for videos, but no stabilization.
I'm considering casting my vote for the Canon R50 due to its latest features and compatibility with a wide range of lenses, including Canon RF and EF lenses with an adapter. I am also interested in lenses from Meike, 7artisans, TTartisans, Yongnuo, and Sigma. I've heard that Tamron is in the process of developing RF lenses, which adds to the excitement surrounding lens options for the Canon R50.
😂😂😂 A6400 is 4 years older and can still compete with that trash canon R50
Which one is worth to buy for better video and photography, sony a6100 or cannon EOS R50??
r50
The 1.5 + a 20% crop on 4k 30 on the Sony IS NOT a give or take "thing"😂..... If thats the case on canon lenses its also a give or take thing, just get an ef -rf adaptor
I really liked your videos, but I wonder what camera you shot the video with?
A6400
What about R10?
Exactly the same + 4k 60 and more buttons
The sigma 16mm is now on RF mount
Fujifilm xs-10...
A bias view from someone who hasn’t had the R60. How can you “compare” without use & images?
Around a month back I purchased a6400 because we have various lens options to choose and then we can also shoot Log footage if it's required... So a sony is a sony afterall . And sony also feels a bit for professional then then canon's camera in terms of agronomics n all
Let’s go been waiting for this video! 🔥🔥 been debating if I should get the Sony a6400 or the Canon R50
Get the R50 highly recommended!! 10/10
Pay attention to the available lenses, Canon is so limited
canon has so many ef lenses, efs, rf sigma etc etc@@sdegio70
but r50 only have electric shutter
@@sdegio70I currently use my R50 with all of my EF and EF-S lenses using an adapter and I just ordered the Meike adapter that includes slide-in ND filters. Canon is also in talks with third party lens makers to create lenses with auto focus.
I ordered a 6400 as it was reduced, but I'll send it back. Why? Ergonomics. Everything is done with your thumb on these really awkwardly placed buttons piling on the back. It's so slow! Gonna look for a canon now.
Reality is still the E mount lenses are costlier than EF or RF mount lenses
Sony has better lens ecosystem.
Very true.
What does this mean? Like they have more options and so?
@@tortyreus2384 Yep, Sony E mount will offer you much more Lenses to choose from than the Canon RF.
I don't know, whit adaptor canon can take ef-efs lens whitout lose quality.
The cannon can only use native lenses. 3rd party lenses lose auto focus, auto aperture, and no OSS.
Sony supremacy
Canon is Apple in the camera world. And tries to lock you into their ecosystem at all costs. Thanks to the chinese you might be able to get an adapter but that might not be a 100% solution. Same with the hotshoe mount they keep changing the pin layout with each release. 850d, 250d, r50 🙄 they also spend so much on marketing and making sure that canon flags wave in the wind at all photography events including national geography. Same as Coca Cola compared to Pepsi.
i think zve10 is better pick
Nah. Lack of EVF is a deal breaker for 99% of photographers. The ZV is over priced. Better off with an a6000. The ZV is a good camera for sure. But is junk to me without that evf
@bltelysiantheres always something lacking that the next tear may resolve and then not really just so you wither buy 2 or always have the need to buy the next tear one... Its called capitalism 😂
