    Hi can I use Taco Seasoning instead of buying all of those others separate. Thanks

      Yes you can. The flavor won't be the same, but it will still be good.

    What's the difference between corn and flour tortillas? Thanx for your help

      With this recipe, I think the flour gets more soggy.

    Mmmm I love enchiladas. I've never made homemade enchilada sauce. Looks super easy to make. That must be why corn tortillas broke on me when I made something with them a few months ago. I didn't warm them up first. I had them in the freezer and let them thaw out but they fell apart. It was a mess but was still good. That's cute with you and your husband. They say opposites attract.

      @CookingwithShirani  4 месяца назад +1

      Thank you. Homemade enchilada sauce is on another level, Debbie. Maybe one day, if you get a chance, you can make some 😊. Yeah, you always have to warm up your corn tortilla to prevent it from breaking.

    For those of us who can't find beef broth in the store (none in Dangriga) is there a substitute?

    • @CookingwithShirani
      @CookingwithShirani  5 месяцев назад

      You can use beef stock. You can buy the beef consommé or bouillon and make your own. It tells you on the package how to make it.

      @@CookingwithShiraniI made these tonight. I followed the recipe EXACTLY except I used 2tbs of chile powder. I used the chile powder that says New Mexico that you can buy at Walmart in the spice isle. They weren’t too spicy at all, just very tasty.
      Let me tell you, these were freaking DELICIOUS!!!! This is the flavor I’ve been wanting for years!
      Thank you Shirani🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
      Oh, also, I made homemade beans in the pressure cooker and some Spanish rice to go with it😋😋😋

      @@CookingwithShirani You called it "Enchiladas", that is a Mexican dish and the sauce had better have guajillo chiles in it. Just call it something else. Mexicans use fresh ingredients, by the way.

    • @CookingwithShirani
      @CookingwithShirani  5 месяцев назад

      Yes, I know what you are saying. I saw a lot of recipes online like that and like the one I made here. Both are made by Mexicans and they said it was authentic. You should see how they make Enchiladas where I'm from, totally different 😂
