Living in the north west, these things tend to get ice and snow trapped in them and cause noises and a great warm place for varmints to nest. I chose to take it off and have noticed that the engine runs cooler with it removed, make sense the fabric cover traps all the heat from engine and exhaust. I'll be leaving mine off. Cooler running engine seems like a better choice.
If you search on Walmart.com and search under engine shield hardware kit "2014 Ford Focus" (or whatever year and vehicle you have, you'll see what size your car takes. This was a great video. We have a similar type of splash guard on our F-150 so this will be useful for us in the future. Thanks, Mike!
Cool!! Thank you!

I can’t find the kit with those plastic pieces for my car all I can find is them selling the screw with washers would bolts with nuts work
I just went to Walmart.com and typed in under engine splash hardware, then type in your car make and model and year. Hope this helps!
@@cookingwithcuyandotherfuns6238 I put in my 2012 Focus Titanium and ONLY the screws showed up in the picture, did you get Screws AND the Red Inserts?
should it work on 2013 ford escape as well?
You can search the Walmart web site for your year, make, and model and see if they carry a hardware kit or not for your car.
What size are the bolts?
