Obviously the guy driving the tractor isn't the same guy making payments on it.
Here is the thing. In the floods you cant see the barricades and when you are that far from a place to turn around with a dolly trailer (A normal trailer isnt easy do back up it takes a lot of practice. A dolly trailer is a nightmare to back up) you are at the point where you just roll with it cuz no one would go backing up. If he knew the barricades were there its a difrent story. But if he does it once it isnt a big deal cuz tractors are meant to take abuse (doesnt mean that you should but still)

I watched it twice but I couldn’t make any sense out of it either. I do wonder where those blocks came from.

I ride a motorbike and just the other day I came across a flooded road and, because I've watched so many of these videos, I actually turned around and went the long way round 🤗🏆🥇
I think between you and these cars, you would have made it. No much different than driving on the motorway during a downpour. No matter of your waterproof clothes, by the time you get home your underpants are going to be wet, this means your bike is full of water too. 5 minutes at 100mph+ and any water would be gone in an instant.

The sheer number of drivers who have no idea how to handle even a small amount of water on a road is ridiculous. Even the supposed 4WDs smashing through shows people have no understanding of physics let alone practicality.

Gullible people are easily brainwashed. They see the adverts showing 4x4s going up the side of mountains while the driver is wearing a little red cocktail dress and they think 4x4 means they're invincible and immortal with god-like capabilities and an accident is absolutely impossible. I see it every time it snows or there's torrential rain. There's always a brace of Range Rovers doing 95mph in lane 3 of the motorway with their fog lights on or driving down an icy slope at full throttle.

The moment they try to start the engine with cylinders full of water… it’s fucked mate.
The seemingly endless enjoyment of watching people who have absolutely no idea how a combustion engine works....
If this somehow happens to your car. If it stops in the water do not try to start it again. You should pull apart the air box to dry it out and check it, then pull the spark plugs (in a gas/petrol car) then turn the motor over either by hand or the starter. Once all of the water is out you put it all back together and start praying.
Just removing spark plugs and let it dry is enough, with the engine "hot" the water in the cylinders evaporates really quick, happened to me once and had to let it dry a few minutes.
and hope the engine computer isn't under the passenger floor mat, as my friend found out when he turned his subaru into a scubaru.
Or just don't drive through flippin rivers on the road 😂
A question from Germany, is that some kind of weird sport over there in the UK? I mean, do you let them drive into it on purpose, or do they drive into it on purpose to see who can get the furthest before the car dies and becomes a total loss? Or does the one who sinks the most expensive car get the prize? Or a combination of all these factors? I'm at a bit of a loss ...

What gets me is seeing someone else stuck in the middle of the water and being in an equivalent car with a very accurate depth guage in front (i.e. water up to the number plate) thinking that their results will be different!

I once got through a minor flood with a 1999 VW Sharan to go help someone. I went very slowly back and forth and nothing happened. On the third pass, my dad was driving and he went full blast through and the engine shut off. He called someone to tow us out and in his rage he attempted to start the car while being towed which to no one surprise bent one or two rods. We repaired it at home no biggie but he definitely learned from that.
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the absolute Chad in the mk4 Golf that drives up the bank to avoid the water 😂 thought he was gonna roll for a sec but he seems fairly qualified 😂👍👍

It should not, at least not the flood damage. If people deliberately drive into water it's not covered by insurance.

Unless your car has a snorkel fitted, and you don’t mind driving a flooded car, don’t drive through floodwater that’s deeper than the centre of your wheels, any deeper will risk flooding the engine
The Range Rover had a snorkel fitted, but it looks like he went so fast that the water splashed up into the top of it.

This is something I'd never dream of doing ever 🙄. Water will not compress in the cylinders but will people ever learn?. This ideotic way keeps me in work as a mechanic anyway 👍. Thankyou 😉.

Once the car dies and they put it in park, you can’t get it back into neutral without the hidden park release. Sometimes it’s a button on the centre console, sometimes it’s hidden underneath the dash. Either way most people without a mechanical understanding would have no idea

The most important thing is that when you drive a car on water, you need to press the gas pedal as hard as you can in order to accelerate as much as possible, and then you will definitely drive the best. If you hit the water well, it will tear off the license plate, tear out the front radiator grille, and as a “cherry on the cake”, a direct hit of water into the engine through the air filter, stalling and hydraulic shock of the engine (water is not compressed in the combustion chamber) and you are in a very bad situation. big money...

Honestly, I don't understand these people. I don't have an expensive premium car, "just" an everyday one, but I really love it. I would never drive it through deep water, even if someone paid me to. My heart would break if I damaged or soaked it. It's unbelievable how people don't take care of their possessions, not even their own.

Quatsch, der Vergaser zerstaeubt das Wasser, aus den H und O Atomen kann man dann umweltfreundlich H20 generieren und noch anstaendig Power.
Schau dir mal die Top Formel 1 Motoren an, die spritzen auch Wasser in den Zylinder.
MacLaren ist doch auh so eine Englische Firma, die sind doch ziemlich gut im Motorsport.
