My 2014 F150 has almost 80k miles on. Next time it goes in for service at the dealer I'm having them do a full inspection. Especially the bushings on all the mounts.
i got the 2017 ford roof on today at bodyshop.its crazy on roof replacement,fords very not realasticc on spr rivets blind rivets ect takes a 5 grand pro spot to get it done and bonding glue.that aliminium is no joke its tough crap.ford covers their butt in every way and windshields and back window is the support in rollover,.chits tough
I liked the wiper "tear test". After tearing his blade it's recommended he changes them now. Nicely done. Now the started tear will get bigger and indeed will need to be changed alot sooner now. ;)

One accessory belt drives everything usually unlike V belts you could have three to run what one microgroove belt can. Tensioners make for easy installation vs V belt that you have to loosen a component to remove the belt and then pull it tight to set belt tension. On old V belts usually the most inner one failed necessitating removal of all belts 😢
Im getting ready to replace an exhaust manifold on a fusion hybrid. Later model. Do you know if the hybrid high voltage needs to be disengaged for this job? I will be disconnecting the 12v battery but not sure if high voltage needs to be disengaged. If so do i really need 200 dollar gloces to pull the orange hybrid lever for the hybrid battery?
FBM, Which ford fusions years are the most reliable? This may be silly. but I Recently sold my 16 CMAX and have a set of Aftermarket wheels and tires and would like to buy and mount them on a compatible fusion. (225/50R17 Cooper Zeon RS3 S TSW Rims ) Suggestions, Thoughts?
The most reliable Fusion overall is a 2.5 L with a 6f35 naturally aspirated from 2013 to 2020 and then the next choice would be a 2.5 l or 3.0 l Fusion from 2006 to 2012

Hey Boss man. I have a question. If I got a recall repaired from a ford dealership (ex: door latch on a 15 ford escape. The latch is sticking again can I get that replaced for free ? Or do I have to pay ? Just curious.

I haven't been able to get it in a shop yet because they were closed Christmas. Stalled while driving on highway doing 90km/h, will crank but wont start. No I think it needs to be diagnosed further because you may have a timing chain issue but I don't know on that one you could do one and then by the other afterwards it's up to you but that needs to be diagnosed
IMO this body style and overall exterior styling aged pretty well to be redesigned way back in 2013. But the interior as with any other American sedan looks really cheap looking and old compared to the Asians

ive been hearing through small circles that the 2.7 liter will last way longer with amsoil oil compared to full synthetic mobile which everytime i get my oil change they use on my 2021.its got 12000 miles on it.not sure if thats true or not but when i get my oil changed they give me 3000 miles on sticker in window if your not doing gravel roads and in blizzards cold starts they say 3000 is that true.where i live winters are brutal -30 this morning.that 2021 fired right up sitting in wind i was shocked cause i wanted to use my new nokeo jump starter..lol early christmas gift from my sister shes a gm fan and gives me crap for buying a ford.jokes on her this christmas her duramax dyed this morning dead battery diesiel i drove away but came back to help oopsie

Typically you have a 2-year unlimited mile or a 2-year $24,000 Mi warranty with any dealer OEM part installed that you have to pay for
If you go to quick lube places they never going to check like you would do. Probably lots of dealerships won't either!

Sounds like you have a timing chain or belt issue and or a crank sensor issue

No I think it needs to be diagnosed further because you may have a timing chain issue but I don't know on that one you could do one and then by the other afterwards it's up to you but that needs to be diagnosed
