Hey Paul, Merry Christmas. To be honest, there's no need to rush things to get inside 10 minutes. I have never been bored or lost interest with your videos. Take your time and don't rush it. I am sure others will feel the same. Cheers mate.
If it is over 10 minutes the monetary compensation is also greater, so to keep it short is shooting yourself into the foot. I found it reasonably paced but I am not sure whether the switching from C to N is the best option. Maybe use one camera and explain the controls of the other in a block at the end.
I think this video is great, no everyone has unlimited time to watch videos, I had 10 extra minutes this morning and before going to take some shots I watched this video and helped me a lot. Great video Paul. I hope you can continue with videos like this one ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thank you for having amazing and genius videos. This are very helpful I mean every single video I’ve seen from your channel are spot on. Thank you so much again!!!
Your creativity, simplified process & explanations, passion & overt willingness to educate others is greatly appreciated. Most importantly, your channel has empowered me to get out of auto mode once & for all. I now feel so comfortable with my cameras, I inadvertently impress others when discussing how & what I have done to achieve my images. Please continue with your exemplary presentations. You’re a gentle & caring soul. ❤
Hey Paul ! Just wanted to say 'Seasons Greetings' Huge appreciation for all your tutorials! I haven't touched a camera for 30yrs. Joined a club, canon 77d, Mac ready to go. I've done 3 rock gigs fully M! 1st time ever! Turned out great! So happy & feel I'm so much more prepared when I go out! Huge appreciation! Hope you & your family enjoy the holidays? Take good care!
Such useful informative tips, always learning is the key and joy of photography from experience, thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise , looking forward to more tutorials in the new year 📸
So glad to have discovered the channel. There are many out there who are very good, but your presentation is clear, concise and easy to understand, and I love how you actually show us where and how to change the camera settings. Thank you 😊
Thank you, Paul, for explaining both Nikon & Canon methods. Even though the positions of the buttons may vary from model to model, we can work it out for our model. I particularly like how you set out a technique & then explain how to do it!
Thanks I am really learning from your video's. I'm a photographer beginner and using a T6 Cannon 1300.Keep up the Good work .From Cape Town ,South Africa, Saldanha.
Hi Paul, just wanted to say I really appreciate your videos here. I'm a total. Beginner and have a D3400 which I dug out out of wife's cupboard! Shame you don't still live in the UK..... Well actually it's a shame I don't live in Brisbane! Would def ce to your classes etc.... Keep it up and have a great 2022....from sunny England
Thanks for watching and for the great feedback - would love to make a trip home and run some courses, maybe in the future when all the madness is over! Best wishes from cold Brisbane.... actually I'm kidding it's 28˚ this morning!
Dear Paul, I said it before and I say it once again. Great video! You have helped so many of us become better photographers than anyone else on RUclips. Just saying thank you does not seem enough. I may not be able to support you monetarily but I do support you by referring others to you. Thank you once again for everything that you've done for all of us out here. Have a happy New Year and I'll see you in 2022.
Hi Paul: Seasons Greetings. This is a very well rounded tutorial of basic photography that can be applied to most shooting situations. I always look forward to learning from you. Thank you. Chuck
Thanks Paul for these great videos and tutorials! Can you make a video about camera upgrades? I have an EOS 90D and i’m planning to upgrade to Sony or so.. is there any specific cam you recommend
🙏Hello❤, Warm wishes on New Year to all of our wonderful and very special friend. May you have a meaningful and successful year 2022 that brings you many joys and great big smiles! 😊
Hey Paul, Thanks for all the great tips. As for tip # 4: besides zooming in I would also suggest using "Focus Peaking" which is available in some Nikon cameras (as in D850). Greetings from the Holy Land.
Hi Paul, I just subscribed to your channel. I am interested at tutorial about the Canon Rebel T7. It looks like you only have one tutorial video about this camera. Thanks
Hi Paul, Happy New year to you & your family. I bought a Canon T7 Rebel and was wondering if a digital zoom feature came with it? Great channel btw, very informative and subscribed, thank you for taking the time to put your knowledge out there.
I got a canon t7 for Christmas with the kit lens. Should I buy the 75 to 300mm next or the nifty fifty? I like taking landscape photography but I would also love to get into portrait photography and maybe some nighttime street photography. Unfortunately with the holidays just passing I will only have the money to choose one soon.
I have a question: I own a Nikon Coolpix P510. I wanted to buy a telephoto lens for it, but I heard that this type of camera doesn't support that. Is this true, or can I buy one for my camera? Which telephoto lens would be a good option for a beginner?
Hello. I am surprised no one on the youtube, even you haven't talked about AF Method on Canon T7 /2000d. Which are flexizone, Live mode and Quick. Please do explain these!!!
Pls help me with night photography on my new LUMIX g9. My photos come out dark during playback. What could i be doing wrong or what settings do i need for clear brighter photos at night. Thanks bunches
Great video for beginners to learn. However as for the Nikon especially like the D7500 which I have it has far more settings on it and a touch screen. It has 2 dials and double set of menus, etc. So some of what you said is very useful, but wanted you to be aware that not all Nikon cameras function exactly the same. The cheaper ones tend to need to access the menu where as the camera I have everything can be changed with the dials and buttons easily. I understand you are just teaching the basic tips of which you have done very well. But a tip for future videos is to maybe mention the fact the the number of features and how you adjust those settings etc vary even between the same manufacturer. I also have a D5300 and while that is a more basic camera it is less quick and easy to use. Less buttons, less dials and position of some of the buttons are different also. The D7500 is way easier as all the main settings can be easily adjusted while looking through the viewfinder. First time to come across your channel. But enjoyable viewing. All the best.
Hi Paul, thank you so much for all your tips. I always loved photography but for about 20 years I have not touched a camera. My son handed me down his Canon T6 camera and I have been attempting to take macro photography. I went out today and was taking photos of lowers when tiny small fly landed right on the flower directly in my frame but i got to excited and my photo came out blurry. I also made the mistake of moving the camera and scared it away. I have a question, is there anyway of correcting the unfocused image unfortunately i was only able to capture one photo :( I waited around for 15 minutes to see if it would return but to no avail. Thanks for any tips you may have.
I have the Canon t7 camera. And whenever I take a inside picture or even on live view it goes super dark. But it is normal for the outside. What should I do?
Paul, would like to get your opinion on a purchase I want to make.. I want to retire my canon XTI and want to purchase either a canon 90d or Canon R... With the R a little more in price, that's one consideration.. My concern are the lenses I have.. I have the canon nifty 50 1.8 w/ Voltrox speed booster, for my M50, ( most of my work is with my M50), and I have adapter for my lenses.. I have canon 10mm-18mm, canon 18mm-55mm 2.8, and Sigma 70mm-200mm 2.8..w/2X booster. I realize the R has an R mount and I can purchase an R adapter for my lenses. I would consider myself an advance amateur! I love shooting street photography... Don't really shoot video, if i do shoot video, it's a non professional and very little.. Finally getting to the question i want to ask you. Do you think i'm going to be satisfied with results of my lenses if i purchase an R camera? Or should i purchase the 90d? I do realize that canon is talking about eliminating the DSLR, and I don't know if this should be a factor in my purchase of the Canon 90d. I would value your professional opinion.. Thank you...
I have a really bad knee, and within the last year of getting low its made it worse. I get down and cant get back up, and then the knee is messed up for weeks after. I got to learn to sit and not lay, or kneel. But that loses a lot of better shots.
Not being snarky, I sympathize, look for a tabletop tripod that you can set on the ground, or if your tripod has a center mast that can be removed and inserted from below, that will give you a lower perspective. There are wired/wireless shutter releases available,or some cell phone cameras have audible commands. Plus, the standard tripod will possibly aid in standing up again...ask me how I know...LOL

I would go for the 50mm, great for portraits and performs well in low light.
Happy New Year to you Nick.

Oh! Forgot to ask can you do a back button focus tutorial- see if it ups my game? Thanks you wonderful GENIUS,

Why are using the arpeture priority mode, if you wanna control the shutter speed?
Isn't that what the shutter priority mode is for??
