I've been reading for hours and hours about sunset and sunrise photography, read many reviews, advices and watched a lot of youtube videos. Yet none come close to your video, again I might add. It's easy to understand, easy to follow yet it covers everything. It's a joy to bingewatch your videos :) Thank you!
My husband bought me a New Canon 7..2 years ago. My fears were so over powering...I couldn't even begin to understand it. But .....then I found you...I am so very greatful and I am have fun. Thank u
1. I'm not a beginner so this video, obviously, is not for me. 2. I found the video thoroughly enjoyable; really clearly structured and presented; and i learned things of value to me. Really well done - i'm off to take a deep dive into your channel. All the best from a cabin in a swamp in a rain-forest in New Zealand.
Great channel, bought my first camera T7 just a few weeks ago and if it wasn’t for your expertise and knowledge I’m not sure I wouldn’t be taking it back. I’ve been watching your videos over and over trying to get comfortable and understand how these cameras work. It helps me that demonstrate with the canon cameras…..thank you!🇨🇦
I just purchased my first DSLR camera and I'm really enjoying your videos, tips and tricks. I am a complete beginner, the videos are just the perfect amount of time not to become overloaded with all the technical stuff.
Your channel is hands down the best to learn everything about photography, and your captures are magnificent. With temps around -35 to -40C in the early morning presently in Eastern Canada, the sunrises are amazing but I'm not brave enough to step outside to capture them. I may try for a sunset though. Cheers and thank you for your guidance 📷 🤗
I go out early every day for a walk and enjoy God's artistry. Its different everyday and I enjoy capturing it. This weekend I'm planning to go to the Hampton Ontario brow. Wanted to do this for a long time and it should be a great place for a great sunrise and bird photography. Thanks for the video
Thank you Sir for a great tuts on this wide and lovely fileld which is the Photography. Please continue with your distinguished way in presenting this knowledge in a high style and content.
Getting back into photography after years away. (Cellphones)? Been searching u-tube and your link is the most informative. Its a slow go going from 35mm film to digital and you are making it so simple! Thank you
I love the simple way in which you explained and showed pictures where to find the knobs in the actual cameras Nikon and Canon. Thanks for sharing! Also, I would like to learn about this specific composition and the reason for croping the initial image captured.
Hi! I've been doing photography since the days I was a child and would borrow my mom's boxy little Kodak that took the 126 film cartridge, but I'm still learning. Your method of teaching is clear and concise and your advise has been sticking in my mind whenever I head out with my camera. Thanks!
I appreciate you taking the time and making the effort to share your knowledge and experience. I find your videos very helpful in my photography experience.
Hi Paul. You are absolutely great in/with your videos!!! So informative and your speaking is so plain and you explain things so well!!!! Thank you so very much!!! Blessings!!! ~Steve Carmichael - Rice, Virginia (USA)
OMG!!! I just found your videos and they are great. I have beginner books and they are so overwhelming and hard to understand. I watched this video then went out and took pictures. I have never used the manual mode and thought I would give it a try. My pictures turned out great. Thank you for giving us beginners a place to learn.
Such a shame I don't live in or near Brisbane in fact a few thousand miles away in the UK, would love to sit your courses, really enjoying your videos I am just starting to use M mode, not there yet but will get there yet, will get there eventually, your videos are clear and concise cannot believe I am already into M Mode, all thanks to you.
Thanks Paul for sharing you knowledge. I thinks your videos are great and the best part is I own a Nikon D3500 and you feather the entry level cameras a lot. living on the Florida panhandle I have taken a lot of sunrise/sunset photos but watching this video, I now know what I was doing wrong. Thanks Paul Iiames
Thanks for your channel Paul! When I bought my first DSLR; a Nikon D-3500 I found you, because of your explanations using “my camera”. I have since moved to a Nikon Z-50 and recently purchased the NISI filter system. I have always used UV filters to protect my lenses and have used polarizing filters. But I didn’t have a clue what a ND filter was and had to look up the definition. Now, I see I need the 10 ND and the graduated ND. Thanks for your great in-depth photo videos…you’re the best!
Excellent video with cool tips which will be very useful to practice to strengthen muscle memory. I'm also interested in tips for taking pictures of the moon.
Your channel is wonderful. Your tips and techniques are explained in a manner that is easy to follow and understand. It has made my photos look so much better by following your experience techniques.
Found this funny I was shooting the sunrise this morning working on getting the colors correct. I came in and found this video. Thanks Paul great help as usual
I've just dropped off my photography books at the charity shop. Why would I bother when you are so clear and succinct and have taught me more in a few weeks than I've learned in months from books!
Great content, easy to follow instructions clearly and simply presented, one of my favorite youtube channels. Thanks so much. Any tips on getting up early ;-) .
Love your program . Simple and stright to the point . Very easy to follow . Love the way you emphasize photography is fun . If you get the picture great and if it dosent work out , well it's still a good day .
Thank you for your many amazing videos! I have learned so much from you and my photography has gotten worlds better. Thanks again and keep up the good work!
Hi there,,,long time viewer here. I was wondering if you could possibly do a tutorial on how to get 2 subjects into a relatively good focus video. I love your tutorials by the way. Hands down the best anywhere.
How to focus on more than one subject (and group portraits) is something that I am planning to feature on the channel in the near future. Thanks for suggesting and for supporting my channel.
Great video as always Paul, your information is always so straight forward and easy to understand. Always happy when a new video debuts from your channel. Stay well!!
Another well explained video Paul, thank you. Funnily enough I went out for a woodland walk today, and after watching this video I wish i'd thought about using the 'cloudy' setting on the white balance as it was certainly a grey day here in SW London today! I tend to use Av or Tv on my Canon 1300D instead of Auto these days, and then try changes to shutter speed/ISO etc to get the type of photo I want. I'll certainly try it next time.
Hi Paul, another really useful video, and thanks for sharing. As a suggestion do you have any tips on beginner photography on the subject of astro photography.
Adjusting the aperture, shutter or ISO will allow you to control how much light is recorded by the camera, this is then shown by the light meter. This video should help answer all your questions : ruclips.net/video/6CEH_31K6YU/видео.html
I recently found your channel and I have been binge watching a lot of your videos!! They're awesome and you can't imagine all the things I have learned from you! Two days ago I knew nothing and now I have been able to take some good pictures in manual mode! Whaat? Thank you so much for all your effort and the great content you give us!!
Thank you so much, I'm happy to have helped and I'm glad you are getting great results in the Manual mode. Keep watching, learning and having fun with your camera. Best wishes. Paul.
For people who really want to improve- Paul is the best I’ve found!
