I really enjoyed your video. Thank you so much. Note: having checked many videos for the cabin filter replacement, Im under the impression that the correct air flow direction for Golf 7 is from top to bottom. Could you please confirm that?
Dou you think tha mannol is a good trusty oil? Some say thay are cheap and not trustworthy. Where is it produced? But not in Geremany for sure. Litva? Will it not harm the engine or dpf?
It’s cheap oil that meets the rating requirements. I couldn’t say with any real knowledge whether it’s a good oil or not. If the car is a personal car I tend to use Petronas or Comma.
Mannol is a pretty decent oil, I used it in my work van for over 100k miles without issue, I had the timing chain replaced at 135k and it was still in perfect condition (not stretched) thanks to regular oil changes
Yes I was thinking the same regarding that oil as I have about 25 litres of it which I stockpiled for my previous car which I no longer own 🤦I now have a Leon 1.6 TDI and I'm gutted that it's not the correct spec. So these do have a wet belt, is that for the oil pump?
Nice one ¡. How do you know the thinks to do according the millage or years ¿ I want to do the maintenance by myself in my Škoda superb 2020 1.6tdi dsg but I am not able to find any document or place that shows the schedule with the specific tasks to do depending km or years. Any idea ¿. Gracias ¡
I think that you should clean the place were the air filter enters before putting a new one. It was full of sand and dust.
Great thanks for this
Glad to help 👍

not sure the oil You used is good for the wet belt system (I think it was VW 505 spec?; should be 507)

It is generally 20k miles or 1 year whichever comes sooner but I would half that mileage to 10k max, oil is cheap, engines are expensive
So no need for vcds priming the fuel filter?
Because the housing is still full of fuel, no need to prime
