About your methods, Troubleshooting rarely works + some laptops don't have more than a single driver like me, and is not updated anymore. So this will definetely not work on a lot of users. Usually people need specific solutions. Some people here might have a totally different problem than me. Say - someone here has their PC not detecting sounds, and I - have my mic working, my PC saying it's working, but my mic itself not recording any sound. And my problem is specifically on my laptop. Other people tried using my mic and it worked.
