I appreciate the video unfortunately none of these steps cured my issue, I have even went as far as uninstalling windows voice recorder and reinstalling and still does not playback the recording audio. It saves it, shows the recording time goes through every motion as if it's working but when I play it back the indicator line / time line moves however I get noting but silence. All other devices and apps with audio are functioning fine.

What shows up on my screen as I go to the settings you mention are completely different from what you are showing. Some of the menus you show do not seem to exist on my pc either. I am running Windows 10 - 64 bit.
nope. I did all that and nothing worked. Microphone works plugged into my phone but not into my pc. Tried both front and back ports. Nothing
My VoiceRecorder is working EXCEPT if I try to record the audio from videos in sites like RUclips, Facebook and Rumble. Really strange....
