    You bring up some good points. I think what attracts me to the USL has the potential for growth as well as for leading the way regarding soccer in America.
    USL absolutely puts the fan and the players first. As long as it sticks to that rule, I think that the growth will continue on as more eyes look upon the matches each season.

      I think you’re right & I think the USL is moving in the right direction I think that with the new cbs deal will help & many teams getting soccer specific stadiums give the league a couple more years & it will be exciting to see the new accomplishments

    Drogba didn’t just join USL he bought in. Bought a share in Phoenix. He wanted to be part of the growth. And I love that.

    The USL had done a tremendous job of growing over the last 10 years.
    It's headed in the right direction.

    USL should be a machine that develops talent instead of buying it. Over time we will be selling it.

      I agree there has been a steady number of young guys from the usl being transferred to Europe. European teams know there’s talent here.

    I just started following soccer closer the past few years. I've been going to my local USL teams games & love it. If USL Championship, USL1 & USL2 do Pro/Rel with each other or include other levels (NISA & NPSL) without MLS that might be closer to reality.

      Forget NISA. That joke league shouldn’t be involved as a pro league. Their defending champions are out. Might play in NPSL since there’s some clause that’ll prevent them from jumping to USL (yes even USL League Two)

    They should extend the start of the league and also do a 2 or 3 game playoff. Where each team can play at their home. Will need to figure out the top tier teams and to format that part.

      NO! This is a terrible idea and MLS looks bush league for doing this.

  • @unomas4250
    @unomas4250 6 месяцев назад

    It will only improve if America ever decide to adopt promotion and relegation between divisions.
    Give teams lower down the incentive to get to the top league, that will draw more fans in. And similarly give teams in the MLS the threat of relegation.
    A good relegation battle is often just as exciting as a championship or a promotion battle.

    • @USLInsight
      @USLInsight  6 месяцев назад

      I agree but that will not happen anytime soon not sure if you see what’s happening with the MLS & us open cup they want to have total control of soccer in the US they want a closed system so instead of growing the game they are doing the opposite

    • @unomas4250
      @unomas4250 6 месяцев назад +1

      @RiseoftheUSL that's a shame.
      In the UK a football club is part of the community and you follow your local team regardless of how well they are doing.
      My team is in the Championship (2nd division) in England. We haven't been in the top division since the 1960's. So I have never seen my team play in the top division (we have been very close several times to getting there) but every season the dream of finally getting there keeps you coming back year after year. Also my team has even dropped as far as the 4th division in the past, and getting promoted from those lower leagues is also cause for great celebration. So no matter where you are in the English football pyramid you always have that hope that this season we can be rewarded for our success.

    • @USLInsight
      @USLInsight  6 месяцев назад +1

      That is what the people here want to have small teams rewarded and being able to move up but the MLS doesn't want that and the governing body (US Soccer Federation) is letting the MLS walk all over them. They are supposed to not allow that type of behavior but they are doing the opposite. But this news has gotten a lot of people talking about it and there are even talks of people boycotting the MLS season so maybe with enough pressure from the fans MLS will cave.

      @RiseoftheUSL check out my team in the English Championship, Preston North End. We are one of the oldest teams in the World and a founder member of the English league. We were the first ever English champions and first team to do the league and FA cup double. Our stadium, Deepdale, is the oldest continuously used professional football stadium in world. So much history!!!

    You need to do more homework about the Saudi League the level is getting better even for the local players.
    Players from Europe not only old ones wants to join that league. When you have 7-8 foreign players in the team trust me the level is good.
    The exemple you gave for Drogba same goes for Ronaldo he is still competing and many players are still international with their respective Top country in world of football Spain Portugal Netherlands…
