@@JodabeniTV when I was playing in a lower professional Indy baseball league, anybody who said they were in it solely for the love of the game was either lying to themselves or had no motivation. You play to get better. You get better you move up. You move up, you make more money. Seems to be the mindset in every sport in this country. I would add that to my list of reasons why soccer in this country sucks ass. Good soccer content.
I got a very good and talented friend from brazil, who is now 29 and gave up for studies. Do you think if I bring him to USA he could be hired? He plays at higher level of mls average with ease. Can someone give me an advice ?
He might have a chance in USL or NISA, but there’s no way he would make it to MLS after quitting the game for studying. I think you’re really underestimating the talent in the league. Just for context, the MLS has had many young players with significant playing time come from clubs competing in the Libertadores (Like River Plate, Boca Jrs., and São Paulo FC) recently and some of them even flopped.
Yo so semi pro means you earn a wage that you can’t live off of at all imagine getting extra birthday money but USL championship contracts are definitely able to support you and you can live off of it

@@whitemtl370 I’ve heard food is covered while on season which saves a lot and most teams have a physical therapy doctor and I’ve heard someone say that some teams provide housing

It all comes down to connections . You can be the best but if you don’t have the connections you won’t be seen by the right eyes
