An Honest Review of Rochdale Interchange

- Welcome back to another Honest Review of a Bus station, This week we find ourselves in #rochdale Town centre looking at the #rochdale interchange, This Bus station is part of the #Bee #network built 2013 it's on of the newest station.
The Station comprises of 13 bay's some are driver on drive off and some side loading bay's. the station has a cafe and supermarket with customer service desk and ticket office. all the doors are locked until bus arrives. the station have bee network staff are around to help and security.
However the staff are not 24/7 so you tend to find anti social behaviour can be a problem around the station.

Great video, I've got a couple of suggestions, Preston Bus Station and Rawtenstall Bus Station.
Oh great suggestions Preston one is in the works, still need to nip to Rawtenstall to record the station ❤ but both will arrive soon
You should do Bolton Interchange! It has a greggs and interchanges with the train station. I believe this was made in 2017, just before first manchester sold their routes and gave them to Diamond
I've visited as a driver and it looks nice not had come as passenger so might do this one next time
Rochdale Interchange is my most visited Greater Manchester Bus Station as I always use it either to get home or get to Greater Manchester as I live on the 587, and I do notice a lot the anti social behaviour around but luckily I don't usually get into much bother even when filming.
Yea I don't know if it's cause I'm a driver and I'm wearing a uniform when I'm doing or it's something else but yea did notice and get a few comments. But I didn't bother me too much

It's a vast improvement on the 'black hole' that passed for the old bus station, but the slope can be a problem for some of the elderly users, and I have encountered a number of beggers in there who regularly seem to 'work' the area, especially in the evenings. As you said, it varies according to the time of the day you are in there, and I think your score is a fair one.
Yea, i feel like this another station which ticks all the boxes when you come to use it but its personal safety especially in the early and late of the day. I was working out of there today and man was screaming at swan. the begging has to be curbed by the station staff.
Screaming at a swan? What sort of world are living in nowadays?

I have two routes the first being the x8 from chorley to keswick in the lakes but it only has 1 run every week on a saturday and second one is 125R it is a brand new service that serves rivington a beuitful moutain with stunning views and then linking local people to middlebrook shopping centre it runs every sunday every hour
I've recently heard about these and they sound amazing I think when I have some free time I might give them a shot

Yea it's on the cards to do
Antony just warning you bury interchange can be very not nice sometimes if you visit that we can have kids at S stand and will not move till one of the supervisors move then and the anti social behaviour there is through the roof so it not safe and it’s not the best but that for sometimes very debatable on the time

I know what you mean about Rochdale, it's not the best bus station (actually, I don't think any of the Greater Manchester bus stations are great in my opinion). Maybe Oldham is better, or maybe Ashton-under-Lyme or Wigan, but I've yet to go to any of those stations.
Can you do a honest review on Bury please, same with the tram stop that's there.
You have too try to look at it as user of the station for the 1st time and I like the shops and cafe its great addition I wish more had mini Morrisons on station but they just don't alway seem safe.
Bury would be fun. maybe in a few weeks :-)
