Good job you weren't on the 152 at the weekend, they were diverted around Padiham due to the 'Padiham on Parade' event closing part of the main road. They're too big to get around the diversion route in the town centre, though the M1s were getting through to Accy and the M2s to Clitheroe okay, but a bit crowded due to having many of the 152 regulars travelling on them.

I think the 464 had to deal with a diversion as well. I think the 152 does way too much when in Padiham cause the M1/M2 just seem to sit back or not run as often. I bet the Mainline drivers weren't happy about picking people up

@@anthonyleecooke It was probably Bacup & Stacksteads Carnival, they close part of the main road between Bacup Town Centre and the bottom of New Line for a while when it's on, and it seems to catch Transdev out every year, even though it's always on the last Sunday in June, at least they never put any warnings on the website, and many of the drivers seem unaware of it. Last year I think they had to divert some of the buses down New Line for a short time while it was on. Some good news though, the road works at Hall Street are now gone, they tarmaced over the holes the Electricity folks had dug up, and removed the traffic lights this afternoon around 3pm. It won't be long before they dig something else up though, Whitworth and Waterfoot are having a contest to see who can cause the most disruption, I did notice that Waterfoot had 3 way lights on while the contractors were laying fibre cables last Sunday as well.

@@alanwindypics with the fibre cables I'm not worried about them cause my wife is doing some of that work and I've told her if you make me late lol 😆. I think the sometimes the finger isn't on the pulse at Rosso

As someone on the Preston side when i need to go Blackburn i just use 59nover 152 as its more reliable and quicker but 152 still good

I think our running times are a little tighter so we tend to run late but have loads of time at stations to recover but that doesn't help passengers. Maybe we also need better buses as these are getting old now
