Video helped me a lot with disassembly to clean mine. My ice maker was just as dirty but my problem turned out to be that the exhaust fan on the side was bad. If there is no air flow over the coils the cooling element doesn't get cold enough to freeze the water. Luckily the fan can be replaced by any 120mm DC 12v computer case fan. The kind you can pick up from any electronics store or Best Buy for 15 dollars.

Only use Distilled water… it will help so much!

Yeah, been there done all that and still no functions. Point that the instructions tell us to only use distilled/purified water not tap water! Going to check the cooling fan and try again! Thanks for the video.
If you have high calcium in your water it will clog the ice cylinder and possibly get stuck and break the gear box. Decalcifying (overnight) maintenance and or using filtered water is recommended.

I hope the next generation of these nugget Ice makers (all brands) are built with cleaning in mind. They DO get scummy inside which can make one sick.
Can’t figure out where that tube comes out of? The tube she pulls out of the port and it has some calcium in it . Where is the port located?
I sliced 3 fingers open with the on the sharp edges I did all this and it's Still not working 😢
It didn't work for me 😭 I got my ice maker on June 7th 2023 & it will not make ice. Only 2 months old. I'm so upset!!
If you press the ice button and the fan on the side doesn't spin that is what the problem could be. If that fan isn't pulling air across the coils it wont make ice. That is what was wrong with mine - fan was bad.
I got mine July 19th and it makes ice for 5 minutes then stops and it melts because it isn’t cold inside. No clue where to start troubleshooting
Mine is leaking water, I can’t figure out what’s wrong.
Gasket or hose not connected properly. If you take it apart you can find all the hoses. She says soak them in a bowl of vinegar + water. I suggest a vinegar boil/simmer with the hoses.
I did everything the same, and it's still not working. All it seems to want to do is clean. The lights won't come on for power, ice... nothing. I'm highly upset about it. Paid too much for this to only have for a year.
There is a panel inside with a control board. If you get no lights or power there is a fuse inside that board you can test with a DMM for continuity.

There is a fuse on the control board inside. test it for continuity and see if it isn't burnt. It's inside the black box on the left side (facing the front of the device)
