    Dealership told me its imposible to install the Frontier aftermarket sport bar . Thanks for showing us it could. This video is tremendously helpful. Im just not sure of the wiring under the hood part, gotta figure that out.

    I'd throw a bull bar up front to go with it & the upgraded nismo billstien shocks with the nismo leveling/ lift kit & upgraded lightweight rims you can buy it at Nissan dealership & have them install all of it it dramatically improves ride quality both on & off road & you can do it a little at a time the end result you'll have something above & beyond what most other frontier owners have & they are dealership options & don't affect your warranty trust me it's worth every penny

    Hey, Alex! Thanks for the video! Your truck looks badass! 😁
    I have a few questions though...
    I watched your video a couple of times. Did the sport bar come pre-wired? From the brake light/cargo light? There was a wire hanging in there from the beginning. I don't understand why in your video that wire sometimes appears to be on driver's side and other times on passenger's side!!?? Which side was it in reality?!?
    Another thing. The instructions say to connect the lights to the passenger side taillight but you did it on driver side... why!?
    And why did u have to go all the way under the hood? The instructions don't say anything like that... 🤷‍♂️
    I want to clarify these things because I am going to install the sport bar on my truck very soon. I would really appreciate it if you reply!
    Thank you!

      @@danielrotaru88 hey daniel thanks for watching! Your absolutely right. Looks like when i was editing the video i actually threw in a clip of me taking out the drivers tail light. It should be wired to the passengers tail light. And yes the sport bar comes with all the wires. Its really plug and play. So #1 the sport has a wire already connected to it. That wire will need to be slipped down and will naturally fall on passenger side. Next is another wire that should come included in the kit. That wire will have 3 connections. The wire connected to the sport bar will get connected to that second harnesses. Then that second harnesses will have to get connected to the passenger tail light. Last connection will need to be ran all the way to the front of the hood. Its really simple and it took me forever to figure out. Hope this helps!!!

      Thanks for your quick reply and for the explanations! It's clear now... kind of. I still don't understand why did u need to go all the way under the hood? The instructions don't say that... do they?
      Plus, you get power from the taillight, correct? I don't see any reason to go all the way to the hood! By the way, you said "last connection will need to be ran to the hood"... starting from where?

      @@danielrotaru88 I followed the instructions that were provided on Z1 offroads website. They werent the best but they did help. I would recommend you check those out. Should be linked to their page when searching the sport bar. Wish i could help with the install. Would make things go so much faster. feel free to reach back out if you get stuck during the install.

    How far does the bar mounts extend off of the edge of the inside of the bed. The L brackets? On the U -Track system they look to stick out an inch or so. I would like to install the bars and a tonneau cover. I did this on both my Colorado and Silverado after installing Style bars.

    • @Alexxsed
      @Alexxsed  Год назад

      From what ive heard from multiple forums, you are unable to add a tonneau cover without modifying the sport bar, aka cutting and drilling. I have seen it done though so its not impossible.

      @@Matt7loc there is a hole or pocket on the passenger side of the bed that you run the wire through. Z1 offroad has pdf instructions that were helpful. But be careful because the instructions got a bit confusing.
