A lot of people scoff at these tire sensors. but they they do reduce injuries and save lives. This particular feature is really handy for gas stations. Air compressors are notoriously inaccurate or have no gauge at all. I'm always going back and forth between the compressor and my gauge. This streamlines the process.
TPMS was brought about by the rare rollovers that occurred with the Ford Explorer, years ago. The industry jumped on an opportunity to oversell a hyped safety concern. I bought my ProX because the price was right and the normally aspirated V6. I could do without all the tech…
Awesome to know! I’m really enjoying my 23 Pro4x. I even towed a horse trailer loaded with a beefy horse recently. I’m also enjoying your videos! Would you ever consider making a truck EDC video? Or one on truck preparedness or a get home bag you might keep in there? Thanks!
I didn't know this was a thing! I'll have to try it, thanks! Some people dont know this, maybe you do. But if your cruise control is off and you hold the button, it'll turn to normal cruise control , not adaptive cruise control
I run 45psi on my new 2023. The OEM Hankook’s are rated at 51psi cold. 35psi will cause stress on your sidewalls and cause uneven wear in the outside edges of the tread.
@@CanadianCruisin You’re wrong. I believe it is how it works. Every vehicle I’ve ever owned had the tire’s air pressure set at 5-7 psi below max (cold). Every tire out-lived its expected mileage life. No uneven wear, no cupping, no sidewall splitting, no issues.
Forgot to say, parking brake needs to be applied, and ignition in the ON position; not accy. Might work if engine running. And all this info is in the owner's manual.
@highwayman1224 all tires are different. I have faulken wildpeaks on my 22 titan pro4x and they are a cold weather tire with the maximum 65 psi rating but i run the recommended manufacturer pressure of 45.
Do not run tires at their maximum pressures, the number on the tire. Use the door sticker because it knows the weight and height, and capabilities of your vehicle. That is the pressure you use.
What kind of air pump is that? It is really neat.

I knew It honks whenever it’s at the right level. (Figured that out one day airing them up).
Pretty cool to know, thanks! Just bought a new 2023 Pro 4X yesterday and and I like this feature.
I've got a few things coming so stay tuned 💪
How are you liking it looking now THX
@@stephancarroll7260I haven't used it, I just use my air compressor and set it to the psi.
Naw naw I’ve had this truck for a year already. Didn’t know that !! Thanks

I did and that was one of the videos I had planned. Then everyone who complains about the crazy cruise control might be happy lol
All Nissans equipped with Easy-Fill Tire Alert System will honk and blink.
Very cool! I don't trust TPS's though, good guage at cold temps is always best but super handy in a pinch for sure!
So far compared to my gauge it's pretty close. But I'd always double check as well.

That's not at all how it works lol. Id never go over the recommended 35 unless towing something. Rated and recommended are very different

@@CanadianCruisin You’re Canadian. That’s impossible
@user-ob4nd6or1p thanks for watching. Like and subscribe for more!
You set the psi when tires are cold. The increase from driving heat is calculated into that cold psi.
Well isn’t that hunky dory and since I just bought a 2024 and that a cool feature
Forgot to say, parking brake needs to be applied, and ignition in the ON position; not accy. Might work if engine running. And all this info is in the owner's manual.
Didn't know about this feature. It is also good if you go off road and want to drop the pressure a few PSI . When done, just give it a quick pump up.
Works great if you're just 1 guy for sure
Is this only in the Pro-4x or does it work on the other trim levels?
This does work in my 2022 SV. With the technology pkg
If it 35, what if i want to run them at 40 ?
I just bought one is why im asking, in all my trucks iv always ran 5 above with zero problem.
where did you get the lettering on the tail gate, i have the solid black but you have the orange and black on yours
It was off of etsy
Really like it 👍 , thats so important to passengers safety
Pretty neat nice features.😮
Yeah its something I haven't seen in other vehicles yet.
Making me want to pick up a Frontier for myself 👀👀
Let's do it lol
What brand tire inflator is that?
Great video!
Thanks. It's Motomaster brand. I forget the name exactly but it's ultra quiet or something along those lines
Does my 22 Pro 4x have this?
Will this Features still work if you put on after market tires and rims?
As long as you swap the tpms sensors into the new wheels it will still work.
Does 22 models do that? All models or just pro4X?
@@martinmullins280 i think all models do it
Never knew this
Pretty cool feature. From Alberta!
Oilers or Flames?
My wife had a 2014 Nissan Altima and it did this too.
Is this only on the 4X??? or the PRO has it aswell????
+@josegarcia6158 I think all the trims have it
i've never noticed mine do that
Is your engine running during this?
No. If you put it to the accessories mode the outlet works along with the beep when it gets to the correct psi
@@CanadianCruisinI do that by pressing the start button without applying the brake correct? (New Pro-4X owner here)
@@tracysrocket yes. You need to press it 2 times to get the full accessories mode on. It allows everything to function as if the truck is running
Tires say rated at 50 psi on sidewall. Why 35? Dealer was at 50 psi when I bought.
Mine came at 46 better gas mileage lol...wear tires faster who knows
Look on the door sill sticker. It's supposed to be 35psi when the tires are cold. The sidewall shows max psi for the tires.
That is for the standard size tires on lower trims. The tires on this one are higher because they are bigger tires?

I HAD THAT ON MY 2014 ALTIMA
Where is the roof rack?
Cool didnt know i have that ..will check it out
That would be an air compressor. Not a pump.
For a couple dollars you can buy a tire gauge.
Not everyone carries one all the time
Not all tire gauges are accurate
Save $1,000 dollars and don’t get the technology package. Problem solved 😅
Ughhh. Who cares. Just fill it up so you can drive and when you’re back in garage you top it off. Big deal!
Apparently you cared enough about it to make your lame fuckin comment about it twinkle toes.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
