Hi just saw your video regarding trolls... I am a 77 yr old widow and lifelong carbaholic. I started carnivore 3 months ago and I am doing great I'm down 28 lbs and doc took me off of my blood pressure meds and my adema is gone. When I started I went shopping for meat, and I got meat and also picked up a pound cake, cookies, ice cream and A bagle. I had to eat them before I could begin. I've been been hanging on ever since. Thanks for your rant.

I’m 77 years old and have been eating carnivore since August 8, 2023, and have lost 45 pounds. I’m not changing my lifestyle, because it’s working for me! Just knowing where the danger is coming from, helped me get on the right track! I don’t smoke, or drink alcohol, now that we know it’s bad. Just trying to set an example for my family, to follow. They are surprised with the results, and that I didn’t die, because of this diet. Another year has me getting excited about growing older.

Many men with big bellies out there, from their 20s and up, can’t even do a single push-up.
    You put many «young» ones
To shame just there. They might not even reach your current age, if they continue like this.
I say it like that, because they might be young by age, but inwardly, they are aging prematurely. And they don’t even know that they are rotting inside.
You have helped many already Mitch, and we are many who appreciate you here 🥰
We need to keep spreading the message. Because people are waking up.

I learned from the nurses that EVERYBODY is different. An aspirin may cure you, may kill you or may have no effect at all. The same with anything else.
Some people are just sh*t-kickers who like to stir up trouble, to elicit a reaction. We call them "trolls."
I don't consider myself to be a "carb-addict," but the carnivore diet has been very, very good to me.
I don't have any of the digestive, skin, or weight problems that most who start on this diet seem to have, but after three years I now feel better than I ever have.
I do sometimes eat some carbs, but certainly NOT EVERY WEEK. MAYBE once every couple of months, mostly to smooth social situations.
EVERYONE is DIFFERENT! Some people do not do well on Carnivore (but I haven't heard of anyone yet).
That's a good response, Mitch. Too many people seem to have no consideration for what other people might be going through and think what works for them will work for everyone else.

If you're following a diet six days a week with a "cheat" day EVERY week then you're not really following the diet, and you probably won't find a lot of benefit from it.
It's like quitting smoking by only allowing yourself one day a week to go ahead a smoke all you want. What's the point of "trying" to quit?
I've found that when I'm really in ketosis I don't even WANT that stuff anymore (this is why I don't consider myself an addict).
When I do eat carbs I feel the effect immediately as bloating, sleepiness and flatulence. No thank you.

@@bettyflowers831 I'm a carb addict and can easily eat a whole cake. However, I can do cheat days without falling off the wagon. Knowing that carbs are the real problem not fat gives me the power to control my hunger. I'm confident that if I cheat one day, the next day is a new day which I can start with meat. As I'm normally weight and my hunger has been brought under control I can handle it.

The more I watch your videos, the more I like your channel. I like how you tell it like it is. I am a sugar addict. I always knew I had an issue with sugar. But until I started going to AA with my boyfriend, now fiancé, I didn’t realize that it is an addiction. I literally CANNOT stop eating carbs/sugar until I am so uncomfortable that I wish I could puke! Alcoholics have the same issues with alcohol as I do with carbs/sugar. Btw, Mitch, you DO NOT look like you are 85. You don’t even look like you are 77!! I hope I look as healthy as you are and as good as you look when I get to be 77. I’m going to be 63 in less than 2 weeks. I hope that’s enough time to undo all the damage my sugar addiction has caused. Thank you for voicing the fact that there ARE people who are addicted to sugar. I didn’t think I was crazy because I have become aware of the signs and symptoms of addiction. I really do wish there was a support group for carb/sugar addicts like there are for alcohol and drug addiction. It would seriously help me!! It’s not like drugs or alcohol where the person can just avoid bars, etc.; sugar is built into every aspect of society. It’s everywhere: socially, grocery, convenience stores, billboards, school lunches, on commercials, etc. It’s nearly impossible to avoid. Unless someone has some sort of addiction, that person will NEVER understand what a sugar addict struggles with minute by minute. I now have a better sense of empathy for people who are addicted to drugs and alcohol, etc., because I finally admitted and accepted that I, too, have an addiction. Thank you, Mitch, for all you do to educate us. I feel less “alone” knowing other people struggle with sugar addiction. Have a great week! Don’t let the trolls win. Keep doing what you’re doing. It’s helping so many of us.

I want to hear it. I’m 53 and I’m a carb addict. I have a cousin 37 years old mother of three and she’s already lost a toe to diabetes. I don’t want that fo myself or anyone for that matter. But, all I can do is be a living example for my family. ❤️🙏

Hey Mitch So that person is telling alcoholics that he can drink 1 day a week and it's ok, or addicts it's ok to do drugs 1 day a week and sugar addiction 1 day a week too, alls good.
For addicts out there and I'm a recovering alcoholic & addict.. ONE IS TO MANY AN A THOUSAND IS NEVER ENOUGH.
Bill Wilson founder of alcoholics anonymous had the idea of one alcoholic helping another alcoholic was the best an only way it will work. And it's helped millions, one carnivore helping another carnivore to stop sugar addiction is another great lifestyle Awakening and only works if you are sick an tired of being sick and tired and work the program, QUIT COMPLETELY!

Good morning Mitch! You look great for your age sir. I enjoy listening to what you have to say, what a truly inspiring person you are. I have also had a really bad bout all my life with addictions. Especially CARB addiction. It’s truly a horrible thing. I’m so glad to find such a wonderful community to be a part of in the carnivore lifestyle. It’s life changing to say the least since starting this journey about 4 months ago. I won’t be taking the rest of the day off lol but I will be enjoying plenty of meat and eggs!

When coaching professionals in dealing with differences of opinion etc. and how to navigate these without resorting to fisticuffs or verbal sparring, I leverage the phrase 'What others think of you is none of your business' -- in essence, another persons opinion is just that, even when directed at you - it's an opinion, with their own motives and meaning. Hit the DELETE key for these snarky statements -- you are not required to justify or validate your own opinions/experiences. ❤❤❤

Carnivore, especially eating more beef has been the most satisfying eating style for me. Thank you Mitch.

Nope, to the cheat day once a week! If I did that I wouldn’t have lost 28 pounds since the middle of April. I am craving things even from a stick of sugar free gum. So I deliberately stay away from anything sweet tasting, or any carbs. I am also passionate about this diet too. I have to keep my mouth shut around my friends, and family. Maybe when I am slim and healthy they will come to a different conclusion….we can always hope.
