    Kyriakos was an olympic weightlifter in the past, but he injured himself so he had to adapt in order to keep working out. He can't have a good ROM in a lot of the exercises due to the injuries, so he focused on the weights instead. He is an insane strong man. ✊🏻💪🏻

    M'Lard's best weight on this lift was 470kg/1036lbs x 10. Even Brian started struggling at 318KG/700lbs.

      the thing is, that is a meme. But is so stupifingly ridiculous, that he HAS to be incredibly strong to pull it off. Is like the actor who do their onw stunts in movies, they HAVE to be super athletic and talented in body control in order to do that FOR A LIVING, aka, jackie chan, bruce lee, jason statham, Michael White, etc. They may not be running the race to be the very best fighters, but hell they'll be quite at the front if they ever decide to do so.

    01:00 the video of kieliszkowski is NOT of him doing a conan's wheel. that's the "wheel of pain" which is only a pushing event. a conan's wheel is a heavy weight attached to a long arm that pivots around a central point. a conan's wheel is carried at the crux of your elbows.
    edit: the mistake is repeated multiple times. I retirerate: they're 2 completely different events. a conan's wheel is essentially a carry, whereas the wheel of pain is a push.

      @@finestjellybeansrawlol9486 They were allowed to do it only in the first occurrence of the event. It is beneficial, because it's much easier and more stable to push with your torso than through extended arms, which get tired pretty quickly

This exercise basically teaches you to brace your core and back to oblivion (just look at his core and see how big it is), and is forcing you to be comfortable being uncomfortable (what with the holding your breath and the prolonged intra abdominal pressure and blood being forced up to your head etc)

      They're out there somewhere. He was a national level powerlifter in Greece when he was younger but had to retire due to injuries, i think i saw him say something about having a severed tendon in each knee that he never had repaired so a lot of the "bad form" people give him shit for is due to having to work around old injuries

      He cant..he used to be a powerlifter and kick boxer. But he got injured and got " old"..So he now does modified lifts so he doesn't further injure himself...give the bro a break he's going on 50

    FYI the clips you added are actually of the wheel of pain. More of a pushing event. The Conan’s wheel is a carry event. Think a zercher carry in a circle. It’s confusing I know but it provides a bit more context to what Brian is explaining.

    I have a feeling that Brian is talking about the Conan's Wheel event where you have to carry the implement and not the new Rogue one where you push it and are not carrying it with your arms. The Grizzly lift is almost identical to how you lift/hold the Conan's wheel implement while you carry it around a circle

    OMG THANK YOU FOR TAKING MY SUGGESTION!!! I know Brian isn't at his heaviest or strongest due to feeling the need to change his training for new strongman, but still a damn good comparison none the less. Brian at best right now maybe could do 800 for some reps, but Grizzly can do over 1000 for reps which is insane in difference O.O

    For another time, you need to use a setup more similar to Grizzly's, to get the (FULL) range of motion. Basically, picking up the weight, and then sitting back. You can still have boxes for security, just have then lower. For example at a height to that the bar wouldn't hit your lap if your dropped it.
