No vulgarity ,No talks of murder,no Auto tune, no stolen lyrics or beats, just extremely talented musicians who are creative enough to do their own material and sing in harmony like rock Gods .thank you for covering the EAGLES! ❤
That's called 'A Band". They have talent. They harmonize. Skilled musicians, vocalists and songwriters. They practiced and rehearsed until perfection. No autotune, sunglasses indoors or face tattoos needed. They are experts in music theory and know all the chords. We know each and every member's name. And no, their names aren't acronyms for something narcissistic or silly. They use the same names their mothers gave them. We don't know what they look like with their shirts off, and we don't care.
Amen brother!!! I'm glad I grew up in the 70's when all these incredible bands graced our free radio airwaves. Today's music and 'performers ' are fakes.
Every member of the Eagles can sing lead and backup. Every album has songs with different members singing lead on them. And their harmonies are always perfect.
Yes, one of the greatest bands of all time! So many of them have their own songs which is why their harmonies are always spot on. Don Felder, always an A+ on guitar. Not to mention, Timothy B. Schmit is so beautiful here. : D
In a way, they sorta outshine the Beatles to me. Their longevity and sustained brilliance over the years. It’s like comparing Jordan to Lebron really. You can’t go wrong either way! What say to that America??? Peace and blessings to ALL!!!
We can all thank a young singer named Linda Ronstadt who, in 1971, suggested that her band go out on their own and form the Eagles. How about some Ronstadt reactions? Pick any genre. She mastered them all.
I absolutely love this song. I think it just proves how versatile and talented this group was. They slowed things down on this track and it came out so smooth. And I could listen to the guitar solos for eternity.
One of the Eagles best and most beautiful songs. Timothy’s voice was at its absolute peak and Don Felders guitar makes you weep. Harmonies kill it too!
This is what I call perfection in all: the voices, the arrangements, the rhythm, the melody, the lyrics, and the instruments especially that guitar in the last minute and a half ❤
The simplicity of this song is deceptive. This is a timeless ballad, the lyrics that confront the intricacies of a relationship that has been worn and weathered, but still lovingly salvageable. It is exquisitely composed and will be an eternal selection.
Timothy's vocals are spot on, but everyone hit every mark perfectly. One of the best live recordings ever performed. The voices literally melted into one.
Great song choice Lizzie!!!❤❤❤ Got to see The Eagles in 1994.. The Last Resort, Heartache Tonight, Take It To The Limit, New Kid In Town, Wasted Time, Desperado, Outlaw Man, Doolin Daulton, Lyin Eyes, Take It Easy, Peaceful Easy Feeling, Tequila Sunrise, Life In The Fast Lane.... Just sooo many great Eagles songs!!!❤❤❤
You are the second reaction content creator that has just now found The Eagles and it just blows my mind. The Eagles are one of the top best bands of ALL Time and I don't care what anyone says, to me, they are better then The Beatles. You are going to have tons of songs to listen to.. but WARNING.. the Eagles are notorious for protecting their music and you may get Copyright strikes if you aren't really careful FYI - Glenn Frey, who was one of the founding members has passed and Country singer Vince Gill, who is an amazing tenor and guitar player has stepped in to cover Glenn's place in the band. Yes, the Eagles are still touring.. not bad for a band that started in 1971
Beautiful song, one of my favorites! What a mood it sets! Probably my favorite song by them is Take It Easy. There's a live version of this that is just so 70's!
Timothy B. Schmit's vocal are sublime in this Eagles song. He's a favorite of mine since his days with Poco. Speaking of Poco, you might like the song "Magnolia" off their album "Crazy Eyes". Smooth, soulful song that hits you in the feels. "Crazy Eyes" is a good one too, more complex, but a really good number. Good reation to "I can't tell you why"
Ah yes. Timothy B Schmidt of the Eagles he wrote this track in 1979 from the album the long run. One of my favorite tracks of all time from the Eagles. Love it.❤❤❤❤
Great reaction - I like that you notice the harmonies & lyrics etc - I only discovered the Eagles a few years ago, and one of my favorites is 'Best of my Love' - great harmonies etc which you might enjoy
Yup...The Eagles explored blue-eyed soul and disco on this one. It was a great song. I'm so glad that you liked it. I remember its debut about when I was about 12 yrs. old. This is one of the few songs from that time period that has aged well. I love what you're doing, and keep doing it!
Love your reactions to this song, superb,I don't no much about the eagles but love this track will keep watching ,I'm a massive soul and jazz funk fan respect
They gave you so many different sounds because each one was an amazing musician, and any one of them could have led a band on their own. If you keep going, you will discover how versatile they are.
The eagles were great musicians, I have been listening to them for years now, my favourite is lying eyes, I just like the way it was written, I hope you are well Lizzie and in good spirits, it's good to see you and your reactions again. 🇬🇧 🌹
I just saw the Eagles at TD Garden. I also saw them in the same place in 2003. They sound just as good now as they did then. Timothy B Schmidt began to speak and I knew this song was coming up next. Unbelievable show.
Yes, this was one of the songs that would play on the radio as I would drive around back in the good old days...and recently upon hearing it again made me cry with nostalgia! This song was all over the airways back then along with the Bee Gees and Eric Clapton and a bunch of other great bands with great songs of sheer perfection!!! Those days are so missed!
Try "Timothy" written by Rupert Holmes. He discovered The Buoys and talked Scepter Records into signing them for a one single record contract. But the label would not promote the single, so, Rupert Holmes(the pina colada song guy),wrote a song about cannibalism and even played piano on the track. Three friends trapped in a mine cave in, two of which ate one of the friends before being rescued. Radio stations tried to ban the record, but "Timothy" proved to be a success for the Buoys. It reached the U.S. Billboard Top 40 chart on April 17, 1971, where it remained on the chart for eight weeks and peaked at #17. On the U.S. Cash Box Top 100, it spent two weeks at #13. In Canada, the song reached #9. "Timothy" became the Buoys' best known song and their only song to chart on Billboard. Proving no publicity is bad publicity.
That song was written and sung by Timothy B Schmidt of the Eagles, their bass player1 A great follow up would be "Love Will Keep Us Alive" also composed and sung by Timothy B! Beautiful tunes!
Cool! That's from the recording sessions for their 1979 "Long Run" album. That same channel has a great looking clip from the same recording sessions with Joe Walsh on lead vocal for "In The City" if you wanna react to that next Gangster Hippie!!!
This song always brings tears to my eyes. I've lived an emotional life of loves found and lost. I know this sounds trite but when you get old, there can be an enormous pile of emotions that are hard to face, and no time left.
Randy Meisner was the original bassist and vocalist for the Eagles, and was replaced by Timothy B. Schmit, who wrote and performed this song. Meisner was originally with Poco, and when he joined the eagles, Schmit replaced him there too. So Poco lost two great singer bassists to the Eagles. I love Don Felder's low-key, muted guitar on this one, and all of his work for that matter. Also, the Eagles have some of the best harmonies in rock and roll history. Don Henley and Glen Frey were the primary lead vocalists and founders of the band.
reaction starts at 1:31 🤭 hope y’all enjoy!
impressive, young lady
Great choice and...you have beautiful eyes
@@jeffsutton4079 She's just beautiful.
Go back a little to a song,"Take it to the limit". Trust me.
Thanks for telling us when it starts.
Timothy B. Schmidt at the peak of his vocal powers. Outstanding clarity, precision, and feeling.
❤❤❤
I just saw them Play in Boston. He's still got it as does the whole band.
You’re so lucky! I wish I could see them!@@aceblades8679
@aceblades8679 saw them in Cleveland on the 17th. They were so damn good including Timothy B Schmidt
He is a good bass player too
No vulgarity ,No talks of murder,no Auto tune, no stolen lyrics or beats, just extremely talented musicians who are creative enough to do their own material and sing in harmony like rock Gods .thank you for covering the EAGLES! ❤
back when SNL was funny.
It's Amazing how much talent was packed into just one band!
You can't go wrong with Eagles. Unbelievable musicianship and great harmonies.
Amen. And “The Long Run” is an underrated album.
After all these years, Don Felder's guitar solo is still one of my favorites. It never gets old.
Glenn Frey actually played the solo on the album.
That's called 'A Band". They have talent. They harmonize. Skilled musicians, vocalists and songwriters. They practiced and rehearsed until perfection. 😂😅
Well Said.
Amen brother!!! I'm glad I grew up in the 70's when all these incredible bands graced our free radio airwaves. Today's music and 'performers ' are fakes.
Love growing up with this band ❤❤❤
The lyric, "We make it harder than it has to be", is a great metaphor for life!
Thanks for letting song play, rare in this industry, great job.
So true
Every member of the Eagles can sing lead and backup. Every album has songs with different members singing lead on them. And their harmonies are always perfect.
In my opinion the Eagles best song!!! with one if these nights very close behind!!
❤
Third?
They have so many. Desperado is also great.
Your favorites, not THE BEST. By what criteria?
Yes, one of the greatest bands of all time! So many of them have their own songs which is why their harmonies are always spot on. Don Felder, always an A+ on guitar. Not to mention, Timothy B. Schmit is so beautiful here. : D
Just saw them two weeks ago in Cleveland. Still amazing.
Timothy B Schmidt is just beautiful always.
@@DonnaConner-fk4lmJust beautiful, always...yes!!!
Eagles had some very beautiful songs. My favorite is "New kid in Town", released in December 1976. I think you'll love it.
Yes!!!!!!!!
Be that as it may, if I never, ever hear Hotel California again, it will be too soon.
But pls from the Official version
In a way, they sorta outshine the Beatles to me. Their longevity and sustained brilliance over the years. It’s like comparing Jordan to Lebron really. You can’t go wrong either way! What say to that America??? Peace and blessings to ALL!!!
Heard that song, new kid in town, while recovering in a naval hospital that month it came out. Good song, bad memories.
No machine here this is all natural vocals here ❤
❤
Don Felder on the lead guitar...the right notes with the right tension...so pleasing
We can all thank a young singer named Linda Ronstadt who, in 1971, suggested that her band go out on their own and form the Eagles.
How about some Ronstadt reactions? Pick any genre. She mastered them all.
Thank you mamasita for not interrupting the video , YOU’RE AMAZING .
10 out of 10, immaculate chef's kiss indeed!
I absolutely love this song. I think it just proves how versatile and talented this group was. They slowed things down on this track and it came out so smooth. And I could listen to the guitar solos for eternity.
The group still is versatile and amazing. Just saw them two weeks ago.

James, so beautifully put! This description is as beautiful as the song. Thank you.
The 70's was a decade packed with artists on their "A" Game.
There was a ton of great musical competition .
One of their most underrated songs
The Eagles Greatest Hits 1971/1973. Is the record holder for the most Albums sold.
You sure of that??
Michael Jackson has entered the comments...
@kidyubyub they go back and forth. But Rock and pop are different.
Great choice! One of my fave Eagles songs. I love when they harmonize the guitars at the end!❤
Timothy's vocals are spot on, but everyone hit every mark perfectly. One of the best live recordings ever performed. The voices literally melted into one.
The Eagles r absolute PERFECTION! Quite the catalog of some awesome tunes!
I am SOOO glad you got to this one, Lizzie! Much love to you!
I dont see how ya do it! When i hear a group that touches my soul, i take a running jump and dive deep down that rabbit hole!
I actually have an Uncle Bill.
Timothy B White was brilliant in the band Poco, which had Randy Meisner (Eagles) in its early days. Wonderful music.
Timothy B Schmidt
@@brucethrasher8551 Doh! You are correct.
It was such a pleasure seeing you grooving to one of my all time favorites
Best of my love is a great song by them.
With your comments, those eyes, that hair style…you are the top vibe in reaction videos right now!
I love the eagles, their songs are so poetic.
The Eagles are always ultra smooth, consummate musicianship and outstanding vocals, fantastic song.
Easy to get lost in this slinky, sensual song. Always one of my favorite Eagles songs. ♥️
You Get It! Makes me smile!
They really nailed it here. Just beautiful! And what a fantastic reaction, love it!!
Lyin Eyes is another BEAUTIFUL one that never disappoints 🔥♥️
Gerry Rafferty “Right down the line” yacht rock must❤ and Al Stewart “Year of the cat” is a masterpiece and considered a Perfect song ❤

Always great to see your smiling face, Liz! All the best!
This song was an incredible recorded live song, glad you like it Lizzie ❤.
i have two Eagles favourites because i cannot separate this one with One Of These Nights...both are awesome

The violins in the background!! So subtle yet so cool
Beautiful song, one of my favorites! What a mood it sets! Probably my favorite song by them is Take It Easy. There's a live version of this that is just so 70's!

Now , " take it easy ". That song came at a very important time for the country.
A rare Eagles on YT. They usually get copyrighted real fast. I hope you can do more!
Need to do One Of These Nights by the Eagles. This and that song are their best!
Felders solos....... So underrated.
This is one of my favorite Eagles songs as well as one of my favorite night time listening groove songs just to chill with, especially when driving.
Such a classic, and yet it was the third single from that album after “Heartache Tonight” and the title track “The Long Run”
I loved your reaction to the song, you can't miss with the Eagles..one of the best bands ever. Also, you look Beautiful as always 😅
The Eagles "Those Shoes"..Nuff Said. 🔥❤️
