Simple but a hearty soup. ** Dinuguan - it's like pork adobo without soy sauce, meat is sliced bite size with pork innards and pork blood is added at the end of the cooking.

Unfortunately we didnt get to try the grilled meat. We were too focused on the other dishes. Later after we were full I found out that the grilled liempo was a lot of peoples favorites.
Filipino Dishes are always partnered with rice, because to lessen the saltiness, sourness and sweetness of of the dish. If it is bland , you have to have a sauce partner to it, you have to ask! like kare-kare. You have to know where the cooked good meat soup. Bulalo is for me!
authentic bopis actually consist of pig's brain, liver and some inards but most of the carenderia actually tone down on the pig's brain some actually dont add it...but its really yummy and a good pulutan
carinderias near colleges and universities are usually better. they need to level up the taste since students nowadays prefer tastier food regardless of the price.
PINAKBET short of pina-kibbet,= cooked until wrinkled. It's an Ilocano dish from northern Luzon, popularized by the first Filipino Ilocano President, Elpidio Quirino. My mother used to cooked it with pork rather than chicken and as a child, I didn't like the bitter melon, but I don't mind it now.
im not sure it that was adobo if it was too sweet, could pata tim or humba, thats the sugary/super sweet version of adobo. sugar is only suppose to balance the saltiness from soy sauce and sourness of vinegar, but originally theres no sugar.

Bopis is one of my favorite dish since childhood
Its pretty good for sure.
If you are going to try DINIGUAN go try it ilocano style. It’s a thick sauce which is better than a thin sauce. Believe that !😊
Thanks for the tips!
Welcome to our Humble Homeland 🇵🇭❤️
Its an amazing place.
How does grilled liempo compare to the famous Texas barbecue?
Unfortunately we didnt get to try the grilled meat. We were too focused on the other dishes. Later after we were full I found out that the grilled liempo was a lot of peoples favorites.
Speaking of squid, try adobong pusit (squid adobo).
I must try. That sounds amazing.
Filipino Dishes are always partnered with rice, because to lessen the saltiness, sourness and sweetness of of the dish. If it is bland , you have to have a sauce partner to it, you have to ask! like kare-kare.
You have to know where the cooked good meat soup. Bulalo is for me!
I got to try Bulalo for sure. So many amazing foods in the Philippines.
More power foxbert nice gilipino food review.. @pinoyfloyd looks more dwyane wade than the statue unveiled by miami heat.. 😂🤣
A lot of people say he looks like that guy. What do u think we should try next?
authentic bopis actually consist of pig's brain, liver and some inards but most of the carenderia actually tone down on the pig's brain some actually dont add it...but its really yummy and a good pulutan
That's what I thought. Every place has their own ingredients.
carinderias near colleges and universities are usually better. they need to level up the taste since students nowadays prefer tastier food regardless of the price.
Makes sense. More student restaurants are getting better and healthier for sure.
I really love pinakbet so much. Its very healthy.
Bitter melon is super healthy. So i have learned to love it.

Liempo, is the Grilled Pork Belly or Side Pork, Bert😳
Its amazing stuff.
im not sure it that was adobo if it was too sweet, could pata tim or humba, thats the sugary/super sweet version of adobo. sugar is only suppose to balance the saltiness from soy sauce and sourness of vinegar, but originally theres no sugar.
Good to know. I will look out for it and order it again. So amazing.
What place are you guys located? Is that in one of the provinces? Wow a lot of food. I'm a new subscriber!
This is in Makati close to the border of Pasay. Palanan is the name of the neighborhood.

You mean leave the location? Its called Aling Sosing. I will put the address in the description. Thanks for reminding me.
Most Filipino dishes are supposed to be eaten simultaneously with rice to balance the saltiness/ sweetness/ sourness or the strong spices.
Very true. I just am on a but of a diet so its hard for me to eat all that rice.
