Glad you are doing these begginer videos. I have had rc cars now for 15 years but just recently got into the electric side and kit building so it will be nice to see different ways of doing things and how I can improve on my rc skills. plus I always like to hear new tricks and tips from other rc people.
I should have bought LOSI.. holy hell that manual looked so nicely laid out.. unlike my Arrma with 20 languages to sift thru and terrible pictures.I am getting back into the hobby after quite some time my first car was a Kyosho Pegasus way back in 1986..last thing i bought was a Raze in 2007 but lost interest when pull starter broke and really didnt have tools to fix it and i was laid up with a work injury. I will look forward to watching this series !
Nice video to help people just starting... I run all nitro/gas larger scale stuff (1/8 & 1/5) but the idea is the same. I would also recommend some ball drivers for stripped heads and weird angle applications. Also check Home Depot/Lowes for hex driver sets, work good and a lot easier on the wallet to spend $20 for a set instead of $70 on three drivers.
The RCNetwork .... Thanks for the link. I'm more than happy with my main tools from Team EDS and Hudy but have always heard good things about MIP. For just around $30 I'll be sure to grab them for my pit bag.
Good stuff for the new guys & gals but don't scare them away with stupidly priced tools in this series would be good to give some budget options Thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍
Oddly, enough, the 3 MIP drivers are under $30......I wish I would have known this when I started. I easily dropped close to $200 on different tools that failed, striped, etc before I found MIP
Do you know how professional drivers become professional? Take Ryan Cavalieri for example. He is doing so good in his racing history, but it had to have started somewhere. how do they get in that position?

once I got into the hobby stuff I ended up purchasing nice tool kits and made sure I knew how to take my vehicles apart before I went breaking things.

Much of it is being opportunistic. Someone that spends the time driving, wrenching and learning will be good. Skill and talent make that driver great.
New music! Thank god, i was about to have a seizure.
