A tool organiser, I have a huge one that I put spare hardware, tools, spare parts, upgrades I don’t wanna put on and loads of other stuff, I absolutely love it, it was about £15 or 11usd and it’s one of the best ‘maintenance’ investments I’ve ever made
If they can't find shoe goo the E6000 glue is the exact same thing. You can find it everywhere. The cool thing about E6000 is that you can get it in black or clear. To do bodies I mix it 1 part mineral spirits or denatured alcohol 1 part shoe goo or E6000. It thins it out and you can brush it over the mesh on the inside of the body. It will end up lighter and just as strong. Great Video BTW. I enjoy these.
a bag of battery connector adapters, 17 mm wrench, cleaning alcohol, paper wipes, isolation tape for wires, soldering iron, shrink tube and don't forget loctite
Good video you covered everything I got a couple of Wltoys so I got a cheap universal screwdriver set that also come with the hex bits that's one ofmy most important items but the biggest thing to have in rc is patience I learn something new on every upgrade
Get yourself hex wrenches with 1/4” shank and you can use whatever handles you want. Or an electric screwdriver, or drill, or impact driver, or any multitool with a 1/4” driver…
Milwaukee fuel bit driver with a matching set of extended bits. Makes taking things apart a lot quicker, and if you're like me and break EVERYTHING... it comes in handy lol
You forgot to mention the most important reason to use proper hex-drivers. Primarily its not about comfort but instead to not strip the screw-heads and all the following work and pain that follows after you accidentally stripped a screw-head. First, even quality l-shaped allen-keys, in the small sizes we use in rc,are not manufactured precise enough to provide exact fitting into the hex recess and second they are mostly not titane-nitrited and therefore not hard enough to keep the exact shape to provide the exact fitting for a long time. So, when you buy a set of hex-keys, make sure that they are indeed titan- nitrided.
Some people will say no to this but I would say WD-40 for plastic conditioning, otherwise known as the arrma treatment but certainly not limited to just that maker
Great ideas for any body/beginner.I like the shoe goo idea.I have seen videos of guy using it for putting accessories on there scx24 crawlers.I am wondering if i could us it for my rudder on my Sailboat so it won!t leak? Probably would not move? Thanks again for the Video.Happy RC and stay safe everyone
When I replace the input gear on an Arrma 3s I replace the diff case as well. It, as you know, has the ring gear on it. It's a pain in the a$$ because you have to swap the internal diff gears over, but they last a while after. I loathe the Arrma drivetrain, constant problems.
No. Traxxas batteries have a proprietary connector to make you use a Traxxas charger. To get out of that ecosystem you will have to change the connectors on your Traxxas products.
Hey Bro; Good info as you know I'm a newbe and I've ran across some of what you've pointed out. You mentioned good tool kit can you recommend a good replacement screw kit with multiple sizes..?? Have you heard of a RC 007 Spector Landrover...?? Thanks for the info always seem to learn stuff here from you. and thank you for that ✔👍👍😎✌🍻🖐 #86 on the 👍's up posting
Great video bro, VERY good info was gonna share this to my Facebook group an page... also I've found losing that arrma slipper just a touch, not even a 1/4 turn at a time I only use 4s in my bigrock with 2.8 badland MXs took me a few trys to get it right now I usually get atleast 15 hard runs b4 something happens to it... keep up the good work... #rc4us

Yeah, it appears to be the same stuff. There’s black shoe goo, too.
A cheap fishing tackle box makes a great tool kit. Some of them have customizable bins you can make whatever size you need.
Great video. I been in the hobby for around 2 years now and there is a couple things you showed that i dont have and should. Thank you.
I found a handful of parts organizers at Goodwill.
Thanks to you I grabbed a Flysky radio. Got sent two for some reason 🤔😁
Thanks for the info. This L-shaped wrenches a nightmare. Now I gotta go back to the store.

Yeah, we have some of those, too. Super convenient, however I’ve stripped a few screws using it. I just wanted to cover the basics here.
@@10thScaleGarage they're definitely meant to be handled with care lol hand held bit drivers are a good start for everyone 🎊

I agree, I think he mentioned that but I use mip driver's myself. I had bad luck with dynamite tips
Where can i get a hex set thats titan nitrided? Amazon??
Haircut looks good bro, had to double check the channel name to make sure I was in the right spot. Good list of stuff
Hey thanks!
Shout out to Lilly!!
She sounds like she wants to get out RCing!!
Some people will say no to this but I would say WD-40 for plastic conditioning, otherwise known as the arrma treatment but certainly not limited to just that maker
Yes!!
Clear liquid nails, is a great cheaper alternative to shoe goo. Tube of shoe goo is $20au.
Great information, Thanks
Great channel
Got them clean lines 🤙🏻 nice cut bro bro

I’ve used it on auto bailers on my boats, but never a rudder. The stuff is awesome. I bet it would work.

great video!!! and does that charger charge TRAXXAS batteries as well? and if so will it charge TRAXXAS 4s batteries that like go in my XMAXX?
No. Traxxas batteries have a proprietary connector to make you use a Traxxas charger. To get out of that ecosystem you will have to change the connectors on your Traxxas products.
I just use adapters on my Traxxas vehicles. The heck with using Traxxas batteries and chargers.
Awesome thanks 😊
Thanks for watching
Duck tape
I like to keep tire glue handy because, you know... #TraxxasTireLife haha

Hmm. Not right off hand. I just keep all the screws from upgrade/ replacement parts, kits. I have tons of them now.
Can you send link for balance lead extenders? Please.
They come with the charger.
Body clips, l always seem to be short of clips 🤣
Just got yourself a subscribe

It would make it a lot easier to watch if a dog breathing in the background wasn't all I could hear. I have no idea what you said at any point.
i use shoegoe for when i have a bad case of the poops to keep my bunghole tight

I hope I’m as cool as you someday.
7:04 actually its numero quatro or cinco. if it was numero uno that time stamp would be more like 1:04 not 7:04
Actually it’s spelled cuatro. If it was an all wheel drive Audi it would be more like “Quattro” not “Quatro.”
No hookah?
No sir.
and a BFG that will help rid issue like morons staying in hobby no more with they remain as they will smash RC cars to bits at slightest issue😆
