Thank you! My granddaughter is just getting to the age where i want to get her into R/C's. The only controlled vehicle I had was on a wire. It wasn't remote. Thank you for helping an old man out.
Another great video! I think most of us who have been in the hobby for so long overlook what beginners need from others to get help with these things. Very well done!
Great video. I really want to get into the hobby but haven't yet. Still kind of hesitant but I hope too soon. I am looking forward to the rest of the series. Thanks,
I don't know if you'll see this but I just ordered the Traxxas C8 that is back-ordered but where are the breaks on the controller? My last RC car was back in the 80's with the Tamiya Hornet and that was a totally different kind of beast back then with the stick transmitter. I figure it's good the C8 Yvette won't come till next month so I can learn more. New sub
Can I purchase a 27.145 mhz remote and it will work on any 27.145 mhz RC car, or do I have to order a specific Remote for a specific car? My grandson has a RC and no controller. I want to purchase a controller that will work with his RC. Help
Old post (but absolutely relevant). As a newcomer, I'll say that, imo, the throttle is counterintuitive. Pull back to go fwd, push fwd to go backwards doesn't really make sense. Also, why isn't the wheel on the back? Then it would be universal for left and right handed folks.
it makes more sense to pull back like a gun. Pushing forward will be harder to do so you want that for the thing you will do less. I don't know about the steering though. I'm left-handed but I can do things with both hands
I'm A lefty and I gotta just say the "right handed" remote is what you want as a lefty . We can see the controls easier. And plus why would you get one to hold In your right hand as a lefty it doesn't make sense we hold everything with are left already . Just get a normal "right handed" one
I'm left handed and don't get the driving thing like drive like it's the normal control it's simple hand eye coordination. I get throwing opposite and or writing is difficult but not simple quick twitch muscles in the hand. " Oh yeah bro sorry I can't try your rc car I'd suck at driving it cuz it's a right handed controller"🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️

It is a Zipp Kits out-rigger.
Are dual rates just another name for end points?
Total Newb question, but is there a rechargeable option for radio batteries instead of using alkaline AA's?
dose a RC receiver have to be specifically for brushed or brush-less ESCs?
Connor Ingamells no but the esc does
