    Hope do you pull that plug out, is there a special area to pinch?

    But does the explorer use the same connector, just using the better material? If so, can I use the explorer connector on my f150?

      It's been awhile since I looked at these I'm not exactly sure but I don't really trust any of the connectors anymore

    Hello will putting a dab of die electric grease on the connections help?

    • @FordBossMe
      @FordBossMe  3 месяца назад

      No not really, Die electric is an insulator and all it does is seal out moisture

    I was hoping you could answer a question for me I have a 2016 Ford explorer The driver side heated seat gets warm but not hot like it used too I was wondering if you could tell me where the module is located for this vehicle it doesn’t look like the one that you in the 2015 I appreciate any help thank you

    • @FordBossMe
      @FordBossMe  2 года назад

      Well if it's getting warm chances are you have a Thermal electric device that is starting to go bad and it's not able to heat up completely or something inside the seat has become misaligned with the actual heated blower unit

      It is just a heated seat no cooling. Can you tell me where the module is for the drivers seat

  • @charlesking678

    Would this work, if the heated seats are staying on, all the time weather or not the button is on?

    • @FordBossMe
      @FordBossMe  3 года назад

      They could but I will check the connections at the passenger seat module first up front of the seat

      @@FordBossMe is the module under the passenger seat that controls the drivers seat? My drivers seat is staying heated and it's burning my back up!

      I've got plenty of videos up on this if you're looking at an 11 to 14 it's a smaller module under the passenger seat little small square one it's got a black connector and a green connector
      If you're looking at a 15 to 20 20 then it's under the passenger seat as well except it's got like four or five connectors and if you look in the library I actually show you where it's at so look in the library on the channel and you'll see like a 2017 F150 I think it was that had heated and cooled seats they were having issues and I found pin fitment concerns under the passenger seat

    What about a 2017 F350?

    • @FordBossMe
      @FordBossMe  3 года назад

      Well it's the same type of issue it's either the little Ted modules under the seats or the connection or the module itself

    • @FordBossMe
      @FordBossMe  3 года назад

      I'd have to specifically look at that vehicle to see what's involved in the system but it's pretty much always the same type of thing with all of them

      @@FordBossMe I have not had any problems as of yet. I know that the F350 shares a lot of parts with the F150. I have 17500 miles on it and out of the Ford 3 year warranty.
