Thank you so much!! Ive been trying to find a video that actually tells me how to do this. Ive been trying to do this for weeks. Keep doing these videos very helpful!👍
Absolutely spectacular video. Spot on and easy to follow. Thank you very much. One of the best instructional videos I've watched on RUclips. The only challenge Ive run into is Ford ran a microbic power wire to under the seat on my 2000, which had been previously upgraded from the blue vinyl bench to a beige 40/20/40. Unfortunately that wire does not appear to have enough oomph behind it to power the seats. As a result I'm going to have to run a new power wire. No biggie. Thank you again
⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hey guys, I’m commenting on here to add something to Zach’s video. I actually found some unicorn seats it seems. I bought a interior from a 2017 Platinum F250 and my power wire actually ended up being a wire that was LARGER than a SWITCH wire but SMALLER than the MOTOR wires.⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was very confused but ended up chasing it down by using Zach’s videos and much like everyone else on here I haven’t seen anything from him online anywhere so I just wanted to chime this in incase someone else was in my situation. The HOT wire I ended up needing was a WHITE WIRE with a DARK BROWN STRIP. Not to be confused with the small white/brown incline wire!
We just did 2017 expedition seats in a 2016 retired cop expedition. Everything in this video matched up. Except pin numbers and the positive and ground. The positive was dark green red and the ground was black. This video was very helpful
You're hilarious my Man! "We gotta just cut out the middle man, ya know!?" Im not to this point yet but i definitely wanna put better seats in my plain jane xl f250 7.4 zf6 soon. I had a xlt w\ nice cloth captains seats + center console, but it kinda slipped away from me before i got them out.😟 One of the many reasons i love these super duties is bc of their super long body life - e'99 -'16, same body, but kept upgrading ft clip & interiors. So we can do alot of 'simple' changes to them to make them our own. Thanx for your help! Keep doing your thing! 😅😅👌🏻👍🏻🔌🔋⚡⚠️🛠️🔧🔩
Amazing! Thanks alot for the hard work, you are the only one on RUclips that did it with clear informations, also regarding the airbag seat wiring, is there something I need to bypass to make work properly?
Hey man been wanting to hook up my new column for my dash swap. Only thing I don’t know how to do is how do I hook up the shift column? Do you just buy an updated cable or how do you go about doing that? Thanks in advance and keep making videos they really have helped me!
Could you do a video on wiring the heating and cooling on the first and second Gen seats? In the process of swapping 11’ F150 Heated and Cooled seats in my 97’ OBS 7.3L! Would love to get full function out of the seats! I have the power figured out but have sadly already butchered the harnesses by cutting the seat motors and side switches and straight wiring them together then hooking fused power to the switches. Any help or info on the heating elements would be greatly appreciated!
Wiring diagram was perfect, but two things, do you leave the airbags plugged in? And can I just run power to rocker switch and over to the heat and cooled ?
2 questions, will F-150 seats bolt right in on an F-250? And the other is will the 2017 seats wiring match the 2009 model seats as I have already done that conversion! Thanks!
Hey quick question I have the gen 3 but can seem to get power and ground figured out. I got the rest of the switched wired up but the wires you have for gen3 to get power and ground not working
amazing video. just bought some fx4 seats for my 2014 xlt f150. had no idea how to even get started with attempting this project. thanks so much for the help. made this way easier and a whole lot smoother of a job! would you happen to know if the heated seats could ever work? i want to try them and make them work but i’m not sure as to how they would even be attempted to make work
I'm sure they just need switched 12v to do heat\cooling. Not sure if wires though. Definitely need a nice 12gauge wire for the heating, don't try to run heat from a 16g tiny wire. Setting up w\ a relay would be better too. There's a vid somewhere out here to help, I'm sure. He did do heated KR seats in his truck, so maybe check playlist. 🤔👍🏻
Hey Zachary, where can I get seats, harnesses and switches. I can't find any in Virginia. I want to do exactly what you did with Daisy. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated!!!
ps .i followed your notes and bypass the memory module and wires were the same .got that far on seat .so thank you for that , now stuck on power and ground ....
Hi I have a Lexus CT 200h 2011 and my have changed the seat to Lexus ct 2018 would what you are showing work because all wire and plugs are there and nothing Thanks
I used a craftsman drill 12v battery just find your positive and negative wires twist them good and put them in the corresponding metal tabs inside the battery
hay zachary , need help with my seats 2010 expedition .watch your video and rewired the motor wires ... thats fine but cant find the positive and negative .can you help me ......ty
2018 superduty platinum seats going into a 2017 xlt. I got the passenger seat hooked up and working as it should. I jumped all pf the wires like you said for the drivers seat. But still doesn’t work. Have power and ground and all the wires are paired correctly. My driver seay does not have the memory module. Guy must have snagged it.
Any insight on how to get heated and cooling working vis using aftermarket switches? Is it just as easy as getting power and ground to each device? Thanks for the video.
Do happen to know how to bypass memory module on a 07 expedition I’ve been looking for information about it so i can put the seats in my 03 f150 any info would be appreciated thanks
Can you get heated seats to work also? I'm putting Lariat leather seats from '20 into '20 xlt. Passenger side was plug and play, but heated seat doesn't work. Any idea on how to make it work? Will I have problems making heated seat work on driver side?
did you ever get this figured out? I am wondering the same thing. I also need to know what size wire and fuses to run for each seat as i am worried about overloading the wire that i currently have.
Killer job at explaining. Can’t wait to get these Raptor seats in my OJ Bronco!!! Many thanks, my dude. Happy belated
Thank you so much!! Ive been trying to find a video that actually tells me how to do this. Ive been trying to do this for weeks. Keep doing these videos very helpful!👍

Any ideas on what pins I need to connect to bypass the memory module from an 05 f150 king ranch ?
Mine have a different memory box from the one you have on the video, or would It be the same for both.
Hey Zachary, where can I get seats, harnesses and switches. I can't find any in Virginia. I want to do exactly what you did with Daisy. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated!!!

Hey Zachary, what 12V kit are you using to power the seats on the table? I’m trying to test some seats and am having no luck in getting the right tool

How can I get my truck on your waiting list.
How does this work without memory modules on drivers side?
I’ve got a memory module factory on my 05 excursion. Can I just wire it instead of bypassing it?
No you can’t use the older 02-07 memory module on the newer seats. They work different
Is this all because ford decided to stop manufacturing the memory seat control modules ?
What about the power lumbar?
I did the wiring the same way as you and double checked it but when i put power to it to test it nothing works. Please help
