I appreciate the gentle reminders on form, speed, and breathing during the sequences. I don't generally like to hear a bunch of banter from the host of the video however yours is simply to keep us on task. I am in day five of the 4 week upper body program for arms, chest and shoulders and enjoy it.
Love this workout! I'm just starting with strength training after losing 40lbs and while this video was challenging it was not impossible. I just used smaller weights, and modifications in the warm up were helpful too. I also really appreciate how real Kelli is - her saying her arms were burning and getting tired was actually motivating, because it made me feel like I wasn't a "loser" for getting really tired towards the end of the sets.
Just wanted to thank you guys for all you've done, your devotion to your website and channel is so amazingly portrayed in each workout video you post, and as a 15 year old, I've always been told that strength training would "stunt my growth". You've helped me realize that working out and lifting is for all ages, and to start living a healthy lifestyle at an early age.
Your upper body workouts always leave me extremely sore, so I'm definitely looking forward to this one. (PS: I love your shirt, Kelli!)

Hey kelly quick update, I have been doing this workout for the last two weeks technically one week and a half; today I checked my weight and seems like I gained 400 grams of muscles! ❤️🥺 lost 1,200 grams of fat too..

I've been in a funk and have gained 15 lbs at least. I wanted to work out but couldn't make myself. I would work out one day and then not do it again for awhile. I worked out to one of your vidoes the day before yesterday, did some activity yesterday and now today I did this one. I'm already sore and so happy I talked myself into it! Thanks for all that you do.

Fantastic! Loved it! This one is so different to the other arms workout. I had trouble with the bend over ventral lifts in the other videos. This one is different, doesn't have that problem because it worked on bended arms rather than straight arms. Awesome! Thank you for sharing.
Loved this Kelli! I'm a big fan of awkward workouts because just like you noted, you work areas of your body you normally wouldn't and the soreness is nice! You and Daniel keep up the awesome workouts :)

This is one of my FAVORITE videos from you guys. I'm in my late twenties but HATE my grandma flappy arms. I did this workout for the first time out of chance. My arms were trembling a bit. I only had a pair of 8 pounds with me. But I woke up the next day. I feel it under my arms, around my shoulders, my back, and even in my chest.
Perfect, I was looking for an upper body workout to do today. I'll just do this one. :)

Very good strength training for my arms and chest. My shoulder sockets feel sore already...I know I'm not very flexible, and I'm working on that. Shoulder injuries take so long to heal and now it's like the joints have literally seized up.
One of those days where HIIT is not in my vocabulary lol but I still need to "spot treat" trouble zones such as my arms. This workout is perfect for that! Thank you FB!

I forgot how much I love this one. Really push yourself with your weight selection, watch your form, and you will burn out that upper body in a quick half hour.
I was feeling quite sore by the end of the workout, I imagine I'll be feeling even more sore tomorrow! The last two exercises especially, were a new kind of challenge for my body. Thanks for another awesome workout. :)

I did this workout this morning and YES I am feeling sore but I like it.
Man, this left me SORE! I'm not new to working out either, so this absolutely tortured my shoulders and triceps! Still sore three days later. Must have been those overhead overhand extensions. It's so great to find workouts that manage to target muscle groups in ways that are completely new and catches those poor muscles off guard! :D

I love this work out for targeting upper body in strong sets. I really miss new work outs from kelly & partner at Fitness Blender. I find their instruction and pace perfect for getting a strong, challenging but DOABLE workouts. I wish they would start doing content again.
I did this workout this morning and it was great. I followed on to do a "brutal" butt and thigh workout. I picked up my eldest son (he's 5) from school in the afternoon and he said he was tired and wanted a piggyback ride home. After carrying him AND the workouts...I will definitely be uber sore tomorrow....all in all....a victory I'd say :-)

I am sore from yesterday's lower body strength workout and when I picked that one for today, I thought I was gonna work out a completely different muscle group. Then round 1 is working my sore legs as much as my arms and now I can barely move any limb!

FitnessBlender Thanks! I read your "Workout Details" on the Fitness Blender (had never read that part before) and your words are SO encouraging to me. So far the heaviest I've lifted is my 8 pound weights, which seem wimpy compared to what you can do. I am working my way up to more weights, and thanks to your words of encouragement, I'm sure I will be able to do more soon. I too love lifting, and plan to do this for many more years to come. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart for your videos. I live in a really small town, no gyms, a walking path for when it gets nice, the nearest pool is 50 miles away, you get the idea. Without your home workouts, I'd have to resort to DVD's and listen to Tony Horton or Jillian - UGH!
carol I bought the powerblock adjustable weights not too long ago, and they are awesome! I'd definitely recommend the sport 2.4 set. They go from 3lbs to 24lbs :)
+MissChievous89 we went cheap on some Golds Gum and they are not nearly as functional as the powerblock. wish i would have splurged, but if you are on a tight budget they're way better than nothing.

Did this yesterday morning and sure enough the soreness was kicking in by last night! Really feeling it all across my upper back and shoulders. I'd caution anyone with neck issues to use very light weights for those reverse triceps extensions--a mere 5 lbs per hand was too heavy for me and I ended up straining my neck. My range of motion is very limited today. Rest day! 🙂

I just got done with this work out completely! Go me, Go me! LOL. I am a bit sore buy, nothing that I can not handle :)
So after this work out on Monday today I felt soar in my shoulders and upper traps. I used 15lbs each for the most of the exercises but 5lbs each on the not so easy ones. I might need to challenge myself next time no soreness in my tri or biceps but overall great. I also followed up with the 10minutes cardio and abs work out. Then work out complete..

I loved this!
I move that the overhand curls be called 'T-Rex' curls, because that's all I could think of while doing them! As this is all I did today, I added in 20 reps of up-and-out jacks between each group, and tacked on a group of chest fly and reverse fly before cool down. Great workout!

Hi, I have one question for you guys: What kind of Power Block is Kelli using? I'd like to buy them, but I'm not sure what type to pick. Thank you so much for this great workouts. I really enjoy them, because they are complete and always different. I love using dumbells when I'm working out, but I always use water bottles because I don't have ones. Thanks a lot!

Hello!! I have been excercising with many of your programmes the last 8 years. You have excellent work outs 👍👍 but I wonder if 8 reps of each excersice is enough to tight our arms. I personally make more reps with dumbbells. Kisses from Greece 💚💙💜💛

Liked it but using two small muscle groups at the end meant I'd completely got my breath back by the cool down (even though I think it will be my forearms and triceps sore tomorrow). I liked the ABABAB format though. Good workout.
I did this yesterday and today, my biceps and upper back are the most sore (hurts to open a door :D) and weirdly enough, my lower back.

Perfect for a cold +snowy Saturday. I find it less necessary all the time to go to gym in bad weather. Rather spend the time getting the car ready working out. I just finished and feel the work in my muscles. This appealed to me today as it is low impact; it's good to mix it up.
Should you still eat a snack afterwards if you just at breakfast about half an hour before your workout?
So I thought that the 8 reps, 3 rounds would actually be easy but no! By the end of the last rep of the last round, my arms were screening and it was challenging to hold up my 7-pound weights! Thanks a lot, Kelli for the great workout!

I don't have multiple weights to workout with. Is it okay that I changed up the weight with resistant bands?
