It really lends credence to the idea Goldberg was 100% at fault for that kick that caused the concussion too. Bret was a veteran and put up with some really stiff working from a lot of guys over the years; he could tolerate a lot. So you know Bret is right about that kick from Goldberg.
@@captainnutsack8151 100% - people will point out that Goldberg told Bret to "watch the kick" but Bret would have took that to mean "get ready to sell a worked kick" not "protect yourself because I'm about to kick you in the head full force"
If you've ever been in a fist fight, you don't really feel the punches. Adrenaline takes care of that for you. Vader's BO is another story.

If he stayed as a baby face he could have worked with Mankind (a heel at the time), Rikishi (then the Sultan), Ron Simmons (Farooq), Crush, Savio Vega, Triple H.
Mankind and Farooq are the only ones that are big enough. But on the other side you have this hot new baby face in Austin (which felt like a new feud since they both switched), HBK. and Undertaker. Anyone would've chosen heel.

I'd say he could have feuded with Mankind, Farooq, Brian Pillman, Vader, and Owen. Farooq or maybe Pillman would have been best. And Farooq could have used a feud with someone like Hart. But Hart definitely made the right choice

Arn Anderson and Beautiful Bobby Eaton were my favorite WRESTLERS.
Watching Arn put Bobby over for the TV Title in the early 90s, it was a thing of "beauty" , truly.
Met Bobby at a local independent wresting show years ago. They didn't even put his name on the poster.
Me and a friend walk in, I look over, and I'm like, "man...that looks like Bobby Eaton!" .
It was like a Christmas present when I was a kid. Walked over and talked to him. Truly stunned! And the first match that came to mind was, of course, the scaffold match.
Listening to Jim Cornette and seeing other videos about it, I'm sure that's the LAST thing he wanted to talk about. :D
I wish I'd have known how scared of heights he was because we certainly had that in common.
When I used to do carpentry, it was just common knowledge with my huddy, I'm not going up a ladder! No roof, no anything taller than myself.
The 3rd step on the ladder was the end of my comfort zone.
God, he was such a nice guy! Rest in peace, brother! It was such a blessing to meet you and have those couple of minutes, which he was so gracious in giving.

I looked it up, and Vader was actually born 2 years before Bundy! Bundy started his wrestling career when he was younger, whereas Vader started a little later in life. Vader passed away a year before Bundy.

while i don’t disagree, he was unceremoniously screwed in his job multiple times right up to montreal, he had a stroke due to a guys lack of in ring skill which cost him his career and multiple close friends and brother were all lost way before their time i can easily understand why bret fails to see the good in stuff, i’m not an apologist but for such a great wrestler he’s def had a lot of tragedy surround him, i don’t think he’ll ever be an optimist

Especially French Canadians. They constantly complain at their hotels. Something yet again everyone in that game know quite well. I speak from PERSONAL experience in both industries as those are our two biggest draws of town income during the summer months. Been to Canada for fishing trips and work probably hundreds of times. Never really had a bad experience. I can't speak for you.. just myself.

I had a job also in Williston North Dakota. Extremely close to Canada. Same story.. encountered many Canadian boys there to work the oil during that boom about ten years ago up there. Was my job to feed them. Same story. The Americans there were constantly at odds with them over their slimy ways. They didn't even bathe for days. If this wasn't true I wouldn't say it. I'm not a Communist or Socialist. I'm not a lib. I'm certainly not a push over that lets people disrespect me. The French Canadians that live up here for school or Hockey shop at our stores and Eat at our restaurants. I guess I just don't get out much. The one time I can remember is my cousin and I visiting a strip club when he was back home from Afghanistan the summer of 2016 from his 3rd tour. They weren't French Canadians but were just regular Canadians. Bought drinks.. offered to pay for lap dances and invited us to join them for dinner. Referred to the US as "their protector" and wouldn't want to live anywhere else outside the US because as long as they live there they know the US won't let anything happen to them on our watch. Maybe they were intoxicated and just being cool. Idk. I went to UM and there's plenty of French Canadians that went to school there because they had hockey scholarships. Joined them for boot hockey. The only time they were obnoxious was when they were drunk and trying to pick up women and we don't play that up here. I'm sorry for your hardships.

In 1993 he had very little to work with but for the last few years he had been having the best matches in the company. Mr perfect , Roddy Piper and Bulldog, all amazing matches.
