"He disrespected Kurt Angle not just professionally, but personally as well. And it's like motherf**ker he'd kick your ass, he's a real athlete, you know?" --Scott Steiner in a shoot interview
The match he had with Benoit at the Rumble, triple threat with Rock and Taker at Vengance and I loved the match he had with AJ Styles in tna the night Hogan came in. Those three matches with HBK were amazing too.
@@DJIdroneaboutnah Steiner would get dominated. Lesnar was a NCAA champion and a UFC champ. Just cuz a guy is strong and jacked doesn’t mean much vs a much more technically gifted opponent
Respect to both guys but funny how much hate Steiner got for only doing suplexes in 2003 during his HHH matches and 10 years later Lesnar is over for ‘suplex city’ mentality.
Steiner work quality did go down around that time because he fucked up his foot. He had to tape his foot so he toes wouldn’t go down because he had no control of that foot.
This clip was actually of another wrestler.... but then you add KURT ANGLE TO THE MIX and there's an automatic 88 1/3 percents chance of it getting better.
On WCW when UFC winner Tank Abbot is in the crowd and Rick Steiner comes down and they throw worked shots at each other you can see that Tank looks out of his depth when Rick is swinging at him, Rick just looks way to much for him... Adding Ricks amateur wrestling backround I would have Rick as a favorite to beat Tank in a shoot at that time. When Scott wrestled Tank he ragdolled Tank around the ring like a cruiserweight.... Scott & Rick were no joke and some of the best shootfighters around in that era imo.
@ChrisBenoit9 nothing to do with it. Their heights were grossly inflated. I’m 6’1” and had several inches on Scott. Triple H was only slightly taller than me despite being billed at 6’4”
‘He (Scott Steiner) wasn’t even TRYING to be funny. He was just funny in general.’ This is Kurt’s polite way of saying that Scott Steiner was as dumb as a box of rocks.
The beginning of the main event mafia was TNA at its all time height in popularity. Tna dropped the ball so hard and booked it so poorly that when that angle ended tna never recovered. lol watch OSW Review main event Mafia arc
What is your favourite Kurt Angle match?
Let us know!
I loved the Cage Match with Benoit on RAW and the Shane McMahon car crash.
Shawn Michaels Wrestlemania or King of the mountain 2009
Angle and Benoit were the best @@andrewwilliams4283
Shane McMahon suplexed through the glass!
"The numbers don't lie and they spell disaster for you" - Scott Steiner
😂😂
😆
Early 90s Scott Steiner vs early 00s Kurt Angle would have been the greatest match of any year!
100% agreed!!
i'd have them feud at any point in their careers just for the promos and segments they could've done! it would've been comedy platinum!
Unless your Dave Meltzer.
You just read my mind!
@@zacharyradford5552 Have the match at the Tokyo Egg Dome & it'll get 5/5 for sure 😉
Can tell Scott Steiner really respects Kurt as well it’s mutual.

I'm a simple man: If I see a Scott Steiner stories vid, I click instantly.
Ain't nothin finer than Scott Steiner.

Would have loved to see early 90s scott vs lesner in shoot
Lesner would be the one going to suplex city

Society idiotic like that

My fav. Kurt Angle match is him vs. Eddie Guerrero (1967-2005) in Wrestlemania XX.

Rick was a baddass

I remember seeing that . If those two got hold you were going for a ride
prime angle against either of the steiners also in their prime would've been awesome
You know why he’s so complimentary of Scott? Because Angle knoooows he can’t beat Steiner, and he’s not even gonna try.
Cause Kurt Angle KNOWS
Get that man a pop shield!
Surprising that Scott Steiner is still alive considering all the steroids and drugs he took.
Remeber he “never failed a drugs test”
He knew how to manage it because he went to a highly educated university
I dont think he took any other drugs, maybe just a bit of gear.
He probably just ate spinach regularly
@ChrisBenoit9 He said his prayers and took his "vitamins" like Hogan advised.
Scott was wrestling into the 2020s for sure but not doing too much in his matches
Add Kurt Angle to the mix
Your chance a beat me drastic go down!
Of course Nash came up with the idea for the over the hill gang to bury all the new talent
They literally put them all over.
I like this interview, cause Kurrangle KNOOOWS... you know the rest:)
I wish Scott could have gone to WWF 1997-1998.
Wcw was better at that time
No it wasn’t.
I met Scott in 03 and was surprised he was only 5’10. Same with Kurt. Two guys that had waaaay over billed height.
Probably the discs had gone in his back
@ChrisBenoit9 nothing to do with it. Their heights were grossly inflated. I’m 6’1” and had several inches on Scott. Triple H was only slightly taller than me despite being billed at 6’4”
@Derek70388 Steiner was probably 5'11.5. Triple H is the same as Goldberg, about 6'2.25
@ChrisBenoit9 nope. Im 6’1” and know what a 5’10” guy looks like and what a weak 6’0” looks like. Steiner is 5’10”. Triple H is max 6’2”
@@Derek70388 Haha, ok. I was shocked when I found out Angle was 5'10. Thought he was 6'2 when I was a kid
Kurt... one of the few guys that says... I'm not worried about Scott, I'll stretch him😂
And he could.

Isn't this just the New Blood vs. The Millionaire's club from WCW but maybe done a bit better? 🤔
Scott Steiner never should have donned the mask and became Giant Gonzales. Sure the mask made him look taller but that nerve hold tho...
