Working 12 hour shifts graveyard this week and stumbled across Matt's videos. Lifesaver! LOL. Having grown up in Northern Idaho off-roading, hunting, shooting, and valuing family and decency, I really appreciate Matt making the time to share with the rest of America how it's supposed to be done. Being kind, respectful, honorable, and hard-working is what made America great.
Matt! Your attitude, is what people draw too!. It shows in all people around you. Respect you , and your whole family!👍🏼
Couldn't agree more. Love these videos.
Matt is literally an American super/folk hero alive today. Imagine a Marty Robbins style artist in 50 years singing about the old days when people would go 4wheeling before gasoline went extinct, and how a good old boy would go out and help them when they got stuck. I can hum a melody in my mind...
Agreed!
Tru that, i admire how humble you always are Matt. Good stuff !

Matt, my Dad worked for a towing company back in the late 60's, I was his helper in the summer and on weekends, I saw a lot that a 13 year old should not have seen with him. Your videos are much lighter and very entertaining. I am impressed beyond words at your success with those jeeps. You give a good name to the towing industry.
P MAE i sure wish i could find a tow guy like this locally.
i couldnt agree more. The towing industry has a pretty bad reputation and seeing Matt with his crew in action renews my faith.
Is it only me that only think the video's are better with Ed ? We love you Ed and thanks for helping out your faithful sidekick that Matt guy I think his name is. Lol. Have a great weekend everyone and stay unstuck.
I like the towing but I think what keeps bringing me back is the family feeling you get from watching the videos you seem to support each other so well that's hard to come by in today's America God Bless you all
That's what I said, it's so hard to find that these days. So many families and spouses are disordered
100% agreed
Yeah that’s rare
Ed the legend... thanks for gracing us Ed!
Ed- " Everybody's out driving the road, this guy couldn't stay on it". Omg, i dont know why but i havnt laughed so hard in a while...priceless!
Ed sure does enjoy himself. Older folks like him can be very entertaining with lots of life experiences to offer.
Glad to see you doing a proper and professional towing job using your breakaway chains and tow lighting. Unlike so many tow companies out there that don’t.
I agree! I drove a wrecker for a while a decade ago, and always used safety chains. I get annoyed Everytime I see a car being towed without chains, and sometimes not even straps. It's much faster and easier to do it right than dealing with the aftermath of doing it wrong. The worst thing is that by doing it incorrectly you are endangering other people.
Stumbled on your channel last week. Honesty and integrity is what keeps me watching. Keep up the material.
I have a great respect to you matt... for respecting ed...the old man..
Cause we are all gonna be old sometime...
So we need to be respected
"The seatbelt can hold a steering wheel straight unlike a person" ... I want that on a shirt
A great tip I never thought about, lol
❤
I'd wear it!

Great video, really good to see Ed turning wrenches....I bet he can tell some great stories... Can't wait to see you hit 100k subscribers.
Ed is the Man! Miss old school real men like Ed! He reminds me of my diesel mechanic Grand father Mickey and the WW2 Navy Tailgunner who started my training as a electrician, Old Manny , he was as tough as they come, born in Brooklyn, at 87 he was still going on the 40 ft ladder! And used to test the mains with his licked fingers and a cigarette hanging out his mouth and usually bleeding all over the place but never stopping! If you can make it through a war , you can make it through anything! God bless these old timers who never say die or can’t! Helped teach me how to be a man! They’re a dying breed!
It's good to see Ed with you . I've got a few friends like Ed they've got some of the best story's as always great work on the video. 😁👍
I think it's really cool that you take Ed along with you. I bet you've heard all the good story's. As always keep on keeping on hat's off to ya 😁👍
Ol Ed, he sure is a character just love him, wish i had a grandpa like him! I wish they would have a video on Ed's life jobs, wives and kids and basically his life story, I'll bet it would be interesting to hear Ed tell about himself!
"I'm alive dang it" - Ed
"I'm not dead yet."
"I think I'm getting better."
"I want to go for a walk."
"I feel happy. I feel happy. I feel 💀."
We're glad you're still here, Ed.
My daughter cracked up at Ed using the ratchet and socket as a hammer because I do exactly the same thing..
Please don’t take this personal Matt, you do an awesome job on a great channel but Ed is the icing on the cake 👍😀😁😄
Matt's Towing & Recovery i think everyone’s life would be better if they had an Ed in their life..we are in Australia and as a family we love your channel..
When you work with tools long enough, you learn that everything is a hammer...

Matt is a good guy and it comes through for sure. I love this channel.
Always a great time u are my favorite to watch and Ed is always good to see him too great job guys
I live in canada and i just wanted to say that you and your company are awesome. You do amazing work.
My girlfriend and I really enjoy when Ed shows up. Greetings from New Zeland guys!
I love the way you guys take care of old Ed... Hats off to you all......
Mat, you're such a nice guy! You never a bad word from you.. you show your class every day.... not to sound bad, God is with you...!!!
Musta been a fun ride in the Ford the last 8 seconds or so.
I'll bet 8 seconds was a pretty accurate description of that ride, I'll bet it bucked hard from the time it left the road to when it hit that tree
Kinda surprised there weren't teeth imbedded in the steering wheel or dash though.
Hey at least he stayed on the full 8 seconds.
Just started watching this channel (subscribed) and it is awesome. I can't believe you only have 22k subscribers. I think this channel is going to get big. Video production is great, love your logo (I'm buying a hat) and your Jeep tow rig is very cool. You could build and sell those - this channel proves what they can do.
Matt, thanks for taking the time to share your passion. Thanks for keeping it clean and "family friendly". Thanks for adding those "filler" videos - showing other things about you, the garage, and the family. For me, it adds depth, and richness. You become a real person, a person I would like to know. I remember Hurricane when it was a sleepy little town - about 40 years ago! I lived in Cedar City, and we'd occasionally drive through Hurricane to and from SE Arizona.
Some people make sure to have gloves before starting work
Some people make sure to wear safety goggles
Ed makes sure he has his cig 😂🤣😂
Fun seeing my hairy face at 13:25. The hat fits great and I'm enjoying watching the recoveries especially when the dogs get to come along for the ride!
Must be " No Smoking " in Matt's rides. Ol Ed sure lights up quick when they get out. 😊
Terrific videos. I live in North Andover, MA and have made seven 30 day trips to National Parks in the west. I drove a 1999 GMC hightop conversion van and took it on roads i never should have been on and never got stuck. Close, but always got out. Kolob road up to the reservoir, Muley Point road after the rain, (did a 32 point turn in the middle of the road when my tires caked with clay, most of Cathedral Valley Road, House Rock Valley Road, the open campground along the Virgin River on Rt. 9, the length of Cotton Creek Road through the deep sand at the mid-point. You’re right when you say the reason we take these backloads is to see the beautiful country in Utah. Sue Dodson took me to see White Pocket and South Coyote Butte the day after I hiked into the Wave. I really appreciate it when you describe exactly where you’re extracting a vehicle. You’re videos are a real nostalgia trip for me. See some of my photos at www.ronwybranowski.com.
GOOD TO SEE ED ON THE JOB !!!!!!
I love Ed’s attitude, “we’ll get the job done”
Hey Ed!! 🥰 My Boo wants to be just like you when he retires!! He’ll be too old to run excavators, but he’s going to find a local auto shop/recovery company 😉 to hang out in and help out!!! 🔧 🔨 He’s going to want to stay active, share stories, and offer his years of wisdom to “young folk”. Just like you Ed!!! 😘
We need to travel down and meet y’all soon!! Probably in the Spring ❤️🐞
If the young folks will take the time to listen so many of them are to busy doing nothing. I've learned a lot from the older guys I just had to listen 😁👍
yes your attitude is absolutely tolerant and amazing .... I don't think to many people understand the logistics of filming... the arrival and departure scenes, planning planning planning.... hats of to ya bro, nice work video and career.
Once again Matt making Mr Ed do all the work
😂
I bet if anyone wanted to learn everything they needed to know about transmissions they could learn from Ed at his shop. That's a walking library of auto repair knowledge right their.
Some reason the Ford Ranger had that look of something missing. Like beer cans in the truck and the bed. 😜
Ed's too cool with his smoke working on his transmission. 😄
Awesome seeing the wrecker at work im so use to seeing people use beds for everything. I love wreckers always have always will. They will always have there place.
im glad manager Ed was there over seeing the hold thing Ed your awesome keep it up
Ed is always the star of the video
Ed pulling cable love it
Matt + Ed = Awesome team! !!!👍👍👍
We were in Hurricane two winters ago. We had a bit of trouble with our exhaust on a Diesel pusher. We got a piece fabricated at the cummins shop a few blocks away. Next time we will stop in and say hello from Huntsville Ontario. Cheers. Ed is a real gem.
You guys do a great job but Ed is the star
Thank you so much for the high quality video. Also thank you for not just strapping a camera to a hard hat and calling it good. I hope you can continue to find camera men, this just works,so much better.
@@MattsOffRoadRecovery , don't change a thing as you Ed and everyone are doing a great job keeping it real and down to earth. Literally down to the pesky earth that you make your living from. That's you for sharing your adventures. Planet Earth !
Just watching your old videos in 9/22, and I’m impressed by Ed’s mechanics skill.
Good rescue Matt! after several videos, God bless you and your whole crew; all the respect in the world to you! You guys are awesome!
Do you realize how beautiful your "office" is, that scenery is amazing. And THANK YOU FOR NOT FILLING THIS VIDEO WITH A BUNCH OF STUPID MUSIC.
I now find my self on craigslist looking for a Cherokee... I dont need one, but now I gotta have one. Thanks for the awesome videos
I looked too. 200K miles for 7-8,000 or more. Crazy prices for 20 or more years old.
Ed is a SUPER HERO, you all are blessed to get to work together...memories for life!
Been an off-roader for years, and I learn something from every one of your videos!
Uploaded 6 mins ago and the video is 13 mins long. People are already commenting on how good the video is 😂
You will be on TV one day all your video's are great content and funny
Ed is a man, simple as that. God bless Matt.
Great people doing great things. Such kindness and humility.
Hey Ed.. nice work
You are a true to life American hero! Your honesty and expertise are the best around and people can see it. People admire you. You don't pretend to be something you are not. You are down to earth and no nonesense. Keep up the good work. And btw Hey Ed.
Much respect for the old timer.
love seeing old Ed he is great
My wife and I honeymooned in Zion. Loved the area! On the way home we went to Coral Sand Dunes. Took some dirt road from there into AZ and back towards Hurricane. And did not need a tow.
Matt has an innate kindness that people find appealing. Telegenic too.
Good recovery,i know its not but you make it look easy, iam glad ed got his truck fixed,a man's gotta have a truck, looking forward to more videos.
Matt and everyone very good people to Ed. Much respect!! I can't help watch y'all videos. Hope everyone great success.

"I didn't even have a chance to run my metal detector" - Ed
Now I wanna see a video of Ed detecting!
When using a metal detector - Ed goes for the GOLD!
Wow Ed, you got it all going....I can only hope I have it like you some day.... your the best .....!!!
watched a lot of recovery videos, first time I've seen someone with enough common sense to use the under reach to stabilize the wrecker!! Nice.
Eds towing and recovery(got a nice ring to it) enjoy your videos . Your always kind , calm and humble. 🇺🇸👍🏻
Nice recovery. Eds got him a new rig .
Hello Matt a friends another great video and Ed on form as usual, music as allways very good. 👍👍👍. Best wishes, Geoff Lewis, Wales UK 🏴🏴🏴

Dodge Dakota: A good vehicle for someone who owns a transmission shop
Throw a 02 ford explorer in that to
Dodges are notorious for there transmission problems.
@@ifnhuosrs2876 I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 with a little over 192k miles and it's still running. I bought it about almost 2 years ago and as far as I remember I haven't had any transmission problems
I have a 98 Dakota v8 and 2000 Dakota v6 and both have over 250K, and neither has had transmission problems.
@@Cyruscosmo My sister's had 2 replacement transmissions by 175k
I much prefer these videos without a repetitive “stock” intro.... In any case, keep posting Matt, your presentations bring a welcomed breath of freshness to youtube, thank you :)
PS: Ok, so I remember now that we also hauled from West of Fredonia, AZ. To a mill at Moab. Lots of rugged beautiful Canyon country, I loved it.
You guys are real pros.
Love the old school "drag" lights. Old school driver off Holmes 440 and Century rigs.
Has anyone noticed Ed gets a smoke everytime they get to the job site? I like Ed he seems like a cool dude!
That ranger will be on Craigslist next week, runs great couple of small dents.
You got some guys in Northern North Dakota watchin!!! Me and the guys at work stay watching your stuff! Keep it up! You’d make a killin up here in the winter!
Nice finish with the mtn bikes. So much a part of Utah culture. If you have not had the chance to explore the beauty of the Utah landscape and its genuine friendly residents you are missing out. So diverse from mountains to red rocks and everything in between. Go to Bryce Point at sun up, it will inspire your soul!
Great clips and editing, love the videos
I love it ED gets to go . Ed AND the dogs ?? Superb !!!!!!
That's great the young guy helping Ed out .
Hi Ed ! Let’s see more of this from Ed !! Heck I would watch whole videos of Ed doing Ed just things. Make it a series.
Good evening from Hawaii! Ed and Matt, enjoying your videos. Great work.
