What are the specs on your PC? I mean anyone with any ancient Pentium cpu driven PC can say that but it doesn't make it impressive. PS5 performance has equated roughly to a 2070 so a pretty old graphics card that is a out of date relic in the modern pc hardware realm. More people need to understand this instead of thinking their PS5 box says they can play 8K games with ray tracing.
Sometimes it is a hassle to run on my pc, so many issues can pop up and if you don't know computers it can be exhausting. Cheaper, I don't know, steam games can be real cheap at times. I still prefer my pc, but for convenience, my ps5 is great...
@buhtcheeks I was talking more so the initial cost of the gaming console meaning the pc or ps5. Steam games are crazy cheap and I love my pc and steam deck. I will probably not upgrade my pc for awhile because I play alot of rpg games that don't need alot to run them.
As a PC owner all you have to do is upgrade the GPU instead of buying a new PC everything. $500 for the PS5 and $700 for the upgraded PS5 Pro comes out to $1200. You could have had a decent PC for that price.
Thanks for calling out the true cost of gaming PCs. I've had to convince a lot of my friends of the same thing. Another thing a lot of people don't talk about when talking about PS5 vs PC is the smoother experience of launching the games. For example, I have a number of games on both PS5 and PC. Cyberpunk 2077, Baldurs Gate III, or any of the fall outs are examples of games commonly on both platforms. Almost all of them have a launcher and don't go directly to the game. I've also noticed that the games are frequently not optimized for text size or other QOL features, whereas on the same games thought and energy is put in for console, knowing that the default settings really need to be good.
Every game is optimized for one type of hardware over another pretty much all the time. You used Cyberpunk 2077 as an example which is funny because when it was released the consoles couldn't even run it only the best PC's could brute force their way through that broken mess. I wish gamers on PC and console didn't fight each other so damn much and instead both sides would call out the game companies and demand proper optimization and performance for all hardware they release games on. These companies have tricked everyone into having ridiculous dick measuring contests with each other to keep them busy instead of everyone focusing their attention on the companies where it should actually be.
@buhtcheeks probs cheaper since you won't need an RTX card. If the main thing you want is awesome emulation, get a beefy CPU and a fast GPU. There are features that take advantage of extran GPU space, and most of the emulation calculations are on the CPU. Then from there, get Emulation Station (DE) installed and linked to RetroArch. From there, you win at gaming at a fraction of the cost.
The PS4 Pro was announced on September 7th and released November 10th. They will likely do the same for the PS5 Pro, at least within a few days of that date. There will only be a digital 2TB SKU for the PS5 Pro and it will be priced at $599.99. It will be compatible with the same PS5 Slim attachable disk drive. The PS5 Slim will get a discounted to $399.99 for the digital version and $449.99 for the disk drive included.
No worries this time, the chipset shortage is gone, the pandemic is also gone, maybe you cannot find one on day 1, but for sure you will have one on day 15 to 30. Let the scalpers choke on it, you will see.
😂 this time is going to backfire tho there is no chip shortage anymore and a lot of people have the Ps5 back then it worked bcz of the chip shortage and the ps4 was like 10 years old 😮
@chrome3720 Yes, pre-ordering seems to be the most successful way in making sure to get one. I imagine if you want it and are diligent in finding out all the avenues in getting one, you'll succeed one way or another despite the so-called "scalpers". I understand that maybe down the line, scalpers get in the way, but usually ik this is prevented by setting a one per household/purchase limit in the very beginning of release. With that being said, all there's left to do is make sure you're on the ball when that release date/pre-order drops. For store purchases...I have no clue how that'll turn out tbh 😅. Long lines? Calls ahead to reserve? I imagine even some in-stores have a purchase limit.

If the PS5 pro looked like the original ps5 dev kit I'd be all over it even though I know it won't I'm still on the fence if I want to get a ps5 pro or wait until the ps6 comes out
Remember when the PS5 first came out people were trying to equate the disk drive to the price and saying it's not worth that much, and saying it only cost $20 to make, so what's going on now?
You might can buy a cheapo drive for your PC around that price, but with the housing + licensing fees for supporting Ultra BluRay discs, I would wager Sony's cost is more like $35 And then for a stand alone you buy later, now you need to add another $10 for the packaging, plus the additional shipping costs
Plus also that way if you are trading your other console like the other Ps5 you get like 300$ off The pro 😂 plus is probably all used and dusty the old one
I don't think it'll be $599 for digital and $699 for the disk model. The disk drive is $80. You would be better off buying the digital version and adding on the drive. Not only will you save $20 you also get the digital side plate.
Yeah, that pricing structure doesn't make sense. I think there will only be one version of the Pro, and the existing detachable disc drive designed for the slim will be compatible with it.
Yep. And in the stores Gamestop employees were not above scalping either, historically speaking... And that goes way back to when Pop Funks were the new/ in thing. I remember Gamestop employees being accused for scalping then too, or employees working/ who had worked there talking about how they did, as well as even management. It's how people would be lined all the way around the building, waiting for PS5 release day, and once the doors open they were already sold out. Gamestop employees using whatever names/ phone numbers of relatives etc. To keep money down on them.
A $700 PC for gaming? LOL maybe if you only want to emulate and play arcade and console games from the 70s and 80s. I'm just hoping we see some of the Pro's power used for PSVR2. Either way I'll be grabbing a Pro when it hits in November.
please...ever get a 4060...one of the worst price-value cards...if you still can get it, get an AMD 6700 or 6750. Else save a little more money till you can afford a nvidia 4070 or an AMD 7700. In regards of peripherals for a PC...you know you can connect a PC to aTV, don't you?
Also, don't forget about that power consumption. High-end pc uses a lot more...around 400+ watts with active intense gaming sessions compared to PS5's low 200 watts. I mean, that right there alone says a lot about how Sony was able to make the PS5 a great power-efficient console for the price, so imagine the PS Pro.

Forget the PS5 Pro comparison. You spend $700 on a Gaming PC you're not going to have a great time. Just build a better PC than the PS5 Pro and do everything that you've ever dreamed. I mean if your going to spend seven hundred on a console, you may be able to scrape together more for an unimaginable experience, and using more than just Windows.
If the rumours are true, the PS5 Pro will be so much better bang for buck than a pc you could build for same price. I own a gaming Pc and a PS5, so have no bias.
Bro, you always say there's almost no difference beetwen consoles and PC, but a game like wukong running at native 720p-30 fps, (60 fps with fake frames, that's why the game has input lag) on the PS5 vs PC running at native 1440p- 60fps and everything maxed out is a very different experience, same happens with alan wake 2, avatar fop, star wars outlaws and all the UE 5 games, games that aren't cross-gen The PS5 is not comparable to the RTX 4070, even the 4060 and RX 7600 are better than current consoles, in example a game like alan wake 2 runs at native 840p target of 60 fps and mid settings on consoles, while the RTX 4060 runs the game at native 1080p target of 60 fps, and most settings on high The GPUs that are equivalent to PS5 are the RTX 2070 super, RX 6700 and probably the RTX 3060, which is still slightly faster than PS5
I don't need a ps5 pro but I think Sony should focus on what they do well a couple good consoles for every generation and a ton of single player games.
Sony's never really made a ton of games themselves. They've always relied on 3rd parties for the majority of their library. So far they are putting out just as many first party games as usual, if not more than ever this generation

Agree 100% about buying a PS5 Pro at $700 vs a gaming PC at $700 that would get destroyed by the PS5 Pro in just about every category. To truly beat a PS5 Pro you would need a RTX 4080 at a minimum and that’s $1000 just for the GPU. To match it you would need a 4070 Super that $700 just for the GPU. It’s an easy win for the PS5 Pro🔥
steam is the best platform ever for gaming, gabe just own that and this works. my all games my all collections on steam. steam gets updates and you can reach everywhere. playstation is like macbook you can't upgrade you can't touch the system but sony makes good for playing. just I can say for that is PC best because you can play all other indie games too, you can work too. But if you are busy man and you only play some games after work is PS for you. But I want to say that; PC is on your hands but PS not on your hands.
Thankfully we really don't need a Pro, so if scalpers want to have at it for 2 years again, I'd say feel free LOL. I mean, I think the majority of us are fine with regular PS5s. When PS6 Eventually gets scalped the hell, we'll probably all be buying and/ or playing Pros, so that's fine too, since new consoles anymore don't really start to take off until about mid gen lol
"Just buy a pc." Is kind of nonsensical. Realistically, what player base is out there, that would want to build a very mid to low tier gaming rig? Most people that are going to intend to build a pc are going to want 4k, 120 FPS at the MINIMUM! So you got on top of just building the rig, you're going to want a really good monitor. A good keyboard with all the lights, a good mouse, a great headset, a desk, and a gaming chair. I'd say 2-4k right there.
My Spider-Man controller that dropped with Spider-Man 2 must be one of those second gen controllers 'cause it definitely last way longer than any of my other controllers.
On the pc part what I heard the most was upgrading their pc. Not buying a new one, I’m sure the videos are out there but I haven’t seen them. As for the ps5 pro I already don’t use my release date PS5

What we need more than anything is having a deep game library. That has all sorts of different game genres/designs. 90s-00s gaming had such a vast range of creativity. I love the amount of risk they took on odd concepts in This Y2K era- the Dreamcast/PS2/360. It should show us that GRAPHICS are not the most important thing.. If you can create satisfying movement, gameplay mechanics, physics effects, responsive parts of a environment that makes you want to explore it, engage it, etc. That stuff is so much more important. Not: {"Who can make the largest game map? Or have the most reflections?"} I think Art style, design, vibe, aesthetic is much more important. You don't need top notch graphics to greatly appreciate and enjoy playing a game. That's why we are seeing such a resurgence of players who have gone back to playing older games because they realized the aspects of gaming that they care about and are unhappy with most modern games. So hopefully gaming will enter a new era. That mixes in aspects of the older era's. With our modern capabilities that will hopefully help make it easier to create a satisfying game (without it taking 8 years to build a broken game. Hopefully) Currently everything is trying to be like a Triple AAA game or a free to play online battle Royale game.. A lot of us miss when we had game selection similar to how the Dreamcast/GameCube/360/PS2 era had a mix of. As well alot of those games came with options for local multiplayer, split screen, LAN parties, or offline modes against bots or other diverse offline CPU game modes. Yet modern games are not only lacking those dynamic options that give games nearly endless replayability features... Modern games are lacking even meeting the most basic standards for game's... They don't seemed focused on the core of the games to be Fun. They over focus on "realism" Rather than adding in Artistic adaptations for the greater good of gaming as a whole.. We could be doing so much better yet people are just coming out with the most bland game design, braindead AI, less care for physics effects... We could be doing so much better than this..
The price is ridiculous!!!!!! 700 bucks isn't cheap and the multiplayer game play is online instead of locally really iritates me, i want the old school multiplayer locally!!!!!!!!!!!!
Or just get a cheap pc with a good monitor and use geforce now ultimate (to get the best fps possible). For the couch, get an nvidia shield and use geforce now ultimate and play at 4k 60fps. A 4060 is pretty comparable to the base PS5, but there are some advantages and disadvantages. The major downside to the 4060 is that it has nowhere near as much vram meaning it really isn't suited to playing games at 4k at all. However, with raytracing it significantly outperforms the PS5 by quite a lot as long as the vram is not overflowing into system ram. The 4070 however is much faster than a PS5 in pretty much every way, and is likely to be around the same as the PS5 Pro in raw performance. At $700 overall budget, I would buy a 6750xt GPU ($269-299). It is made on the same architecture as the PS5s GPU, but is around 20% faster and has more vram. It comes in at $20 more than a 4060, so it makes a lot more sense if you are just looking for a "better than console" experience.
There's really no debate and nothing new under the sun: PS5/pro just offers setup convenience and an entry point to a paid subscription service, that's what consoles are nowaydays: everything you'll consume out of it will be more expensive in the end, that always was the core foundations of consoles: cheap hardware, tax on content. This is the same rant over and over by people not seeing the big pictures and who think the phone and plan they got from their carrier was a good deal. If you can spare 700$ and put them in a PC, then do it and if you just want to play on your TV some games without caring too much about the rest (mods, emulation, online... all the other things a PC can provide) then buy a console. Btw, 4060 is litterally the worst cost-performance ratio GPU ever made to date.
I'd say this...i can build a good micro atx/itx with a little overclock'n that can run just fine and i actually prefer my pc, but for convenience, i go to my ps5. When i want to see how good a game looks, i use pc...
i will say 699 and 799, they dont really want to sell the physical version as digital version give them better profit in long term. Very likely just a digital only PS5 pro with optional disc drive as accessories.
I'm not buying the fact that grandmas don't know anything about consoles since they've been out since the 70s their marketing on TV food products movies music clothing and hell they're even making cars this is such a nonsensical thing to say it needs to stop
When you say 100 more than the ps5 you are making a mathematical mistake if the price of a disk version is 500 than the pro disk version would be 600 so you mean 200 dollar more than the previous ps5 with disk drive.
Pc or console is still debatable because you could still find great deals like a pc prebuilt and you won’t have to spend money on ps plus or Xbox game pass

@@jt_no_money2381Glad I caught you and this piece of information on what its performance is similar to.
Found a Sony pony
Every game is optimized for one type of hardware over another pretty much all the time. You used Cyberpunk 2077 as an example which is funny because when it was released the consoles couldn't even run it only the best PC's could brute force their way through that broken mess. I wish gamers on PC and console didn't fight each other so damn much and instead both sides would call out the game companies and demand proper optimization and performance for all hardware they release games on. These companies have tricked everyone into having ridiculous dick measuring contests with each other to keep them busy instead of everyone focusing their attention on the companies where it should actually be.
Apples and oranges
What are y'all try'n to build a supercomputer? You can build out a micro atx/itx for around $600 that can run with ps and xbox...

They’re not discounting the ps5. Maybe slight Christmas sale but that’s it.

Jimmy, I believe grandma wont see a PS5 pro at target. Sadly Because Scalpers
No worries this time, the chipset shortage is gone, the pandemic is also gone, maybe you cannot find one on day 1, but for sure you will have one on day 15 to 30.
Let the scalpers choke on it, you will see.
Most grandma's are not loaded with money for little Jimmy 💰
😂 this time is going to backfire tho there is no chip shortage anymore and a lot of people have the Ps5 back then it worked bcz of the chip shortage and the ps4 was like 10 years old 😮
@yoshy2628 😂 hope they work out kinks for the first day early adapters every console has issues like noisy fans ect.

My og switch is half way in the trash 😂. Pre-ordering should be fun.
@@AI-AITUM ya going be wild hope we can score one I was able to get ps5 lauch day pre order
Only pc fanboys ate spewing nonsense like "just built a pc instead of getting a PS5" be everyone knows your not building a ps5 equivalent PC for 400 to 500 dollars. Especially new......
It’s not even just that but they loathe over the bells and whistles which reminds me of exactly how Android fanboys are when it comes to their phones, their mindsets are exactly the same way.
Nah your just broke and could only afford 30fps games
@@GuadalupeGarcia-ql9rt the only thing that's broke is your mind to the PC community on thinking that spending 2k on a gaming PC is a flex. Go grab your graphics card box and take a nap.

Honestly, I was too a bit skeptical when watching this video. While it's still guessing work, it's educated and it clearly shows that you researched it, great work!
Researched what ??? Every channel and there grandma have posted a video of the same news 😁🗞️ just saying
If the PS5 pro looked like the original ps5 dev kit I'd be all over it even though I know it won't I'm still on the fence if I want to get a ps5 pro or wait until the ps6 comes out
Think I will wait people think it will be 599 it's going to be 699
Remember when the PS5 first came out people were trying to equate the disk drive to the price and saying it's not worth that much, and saying it only cost $20 to make, so what's going on now?
You might can buy a cheapo drive for your PC around that price, but with the housing + licensing fees for supporting Ultra BluRay discs, I would wager Sony's cost is more like $35
And then for a stand alone you buy later, now you need to add another $10 for the packaging, plus the additional shipping costs
That's typical if them
I’m convinced it’ll be September 10th
I mainly just want to preorder it lol
Plus also that way if you are trading your other console like the other Ps5 you get like 300$ off The pro 😂 plus is probably all used and dusty the old one
It's called free advertisement. Sony isn't stupid. I would rather game on a council any day.
AND HYPE!
I use both PS5 and PC to play games. Not all games run great on PC, and not all games run great on PS5.
Just checked the channel... here you go 🔥
I don't think it'll be $599 for digital and $699 for the disk model. The disk drive is $80. You would be better off buying the digital version and adding on the drive. Not only will you save $20 you also get the digital side plate.
I don't use my disk drive, and I have been since November 2020. I got Whatever one I was able to pre-order
Yeah, that pricing structure doesn't make sense. I think there will only be one version of the Pro, and the existing detachable disc drive designed for the slim will be compatible with it.
More likely $649 for digital and $699 with drive preinstalled
@@toastyburger that be here cost 1000 dollars because based ps5 here $799.95

A $700 PC for gaming? LOL maybe if you only want to emulate and play arcade and console games from the 70s and 80s. I'm just hoping we see some of the Pro's power used for PSVR2. Either way I'll be grabbing a Pro when it hits in November.
As a old Best Buy employee, we dont make commissions
It’s not a pro unless it sounds like a jet plane taking off as soon as you switch it on 🤣
please...ever get a 4060...one of the worst price-value cards...if you still can get it, get an AMD 6700 or 6750. Else save a little more money till you can afford a nvidia 4070 or an AMD 7700.
In regards of peripherals for a PC...you know you can connect a PC to aTV, don't you?
Detachable disc drive is good because if it breaks it will be easier to swap out the drive rather than the whole console.
My old pc from 2015 is useless except for web browsing and my fire tablet is mostly good at playing prime video and my iPhone is good for calls

If you want to buy a computer the least amount of money you should spend is 1500. If you want a good computer, you can go to NZXT
One PC benefit is all the mods you can install for games. Lot's of free good stuff that totally revamps games and extends playtime.
Am I the only one that thinks the new model with the three lines in the middle for the ps5 pro is perfect for a special edition wolverine game bundle as if those were the wolverine claws
I'm dying of laughter from the grandma story thanks Jimmy
Forget the PS5 Pro comparison. You spend $700 on a Gaming PC you're not going to have a great time. Just build a better PC than the PS5 Pro and do everything that you've ever dreamed. I mean if your going to spend seven hundred on a console, you may be able to scrape together more for an unimaginable experience, and using more than just Windows.
If the rumours are true, the PS5 Pro will be so much better bang for buck than a pc you could build for same price. I own a gaming Pc and a PS5, so have no bias.
Bro, you always say there's almost no difference beetwen consoles and PC, but a game like wukong running at native 720p-30 fps, (60 fps with fake frames, that's why the game has input lag) on the PS5 vs PC running at native 1440p- 60fps and everything maxed out is a very different experience, same happens with alan wake 2, avatar fop, star wars outlaws and all the UE 5 games, games that aren't cross-gen
The PS5 is not comparable to the RTX 4070, even the 4060 and RX 7600 are better than current consoles, in example a game like alan wake 2 runs at native 840p target of 60 fps and mid settings on consoles, while the RTX 4060 runs the game at native 1080p target of 60 fps, and most settings on high
The GPUs that are equivalent to PS5 are the RTX 2070 super, RX 6700 and probably the RTX 3060, which is still slightly faster than PS5
Thankfully im in a position to buy it at any price point, my entertainment center will love it.
At the end of the day PC >>>>>>>>> Consoles...

I’m waiting for the PS5 pro I hope Sony give me power

@3:40 what? Lol😂😂😂
I don’t care about the design I just want one
Should never be a pro model of any console. Often the pro is what the base console should be capable of at launch
Could be a shortage so releasing it sooner would be better to help with keeping shelves stocked.
4K may not be possible, but 1440p with medium settings + frame generation is very much possible with a slightly higher price.
The price is ridiculous!!!!!! 700 bucks isn't cheap and the multiplayer game play is online instead of locally really iritates me, i want the old school multiplayer locally!!!!!!!!!!!!
700 bucks is not that much money
rtx 4080 is 1k, and 4070 is 600 so a 700 dollar 4k gaming machine is a steal.
Or just get a cheap pc with a good monitor and use geforce now ultimate (to get the best fps possible). For the couch, get an nvidia shield and use geforce now ultimate and play at 4k 60fps.
Or use an xbox and gfn ultimate on the edge browser at 1080p60. That's how I'm playing black myth wukong on my series x 😁

let's see if it's actually backwards compatible...
Ps5 equivalent gpu is 2070super. Not even the 30 series
I don't have a PS5, I will buy a pro anyway.
I’m not furious….✌️
I can tell you for a fact Best Buy don’t get paid no commission they are just there to help you that’s it
