- I've tried my best to recreate the look of the original Male-V in the character creator of the actual game. I think I've come pretty close!

Original V should be the standart preset for when creating a character.. this dude looks canon !
Ikr I was hoping for him to be a preset but nope
CDPR couldn't do it because their character creator sucks. Could've done it the way Bioware did with mass effect where you have a custom maleshep/femshep that you couldn't make in the character creator.

CDPR should've add a preset for the original character, both Male and Female.
Tre male preset is similar enough, but the female one is totally different

They should delay this game at least till April 2021, but they didn't, because management decided that they need that juicy money from the holiday season and turned themselves into full EA mode and said "We will fix this later"

Original V kinda reminds me of Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad for some reason... 😀
Yes! He's kind of a mix between Justin Timberlake / Jesse Pinkman / and a young version of Hugh Jackman in my opinion :D
@@BlueEagle669 The resemblance to Justin Timberlake is really strong compared to the other 2, that's my initial thoughts after seeing the marketing. But some Jesse Pinkman is there too.

I really dislike that the in-game models barely resemble the V in all of the marketing. This is a good recreation, but I still feel like it’s not the same thing as if the developers just put it in.
They should add presets for male and female V from the original marketing material IMO. That way people who want to experience the authentic story with the character as designed by the developer can so choose to do it. I usually play with original character and later build my own on the 2nd playthrough (if the game is good).
CDPR should make a preset for both the male and female V that appear in every piec of merchandise and concept art.
I think they tried, but failed due to having different types of people who model for 3D CGI and video games

So...I'm deep into the story with my current V character. I used the default male preset because I wanted to look as close to the trailer as possible. Yeeeah...I'm starting over with this. XD I'm SO happy someone managed to recreate him! He looks absolutely perfect, and is gonna be my main dude from now on. Thank you so much, Blue for sharing this with us! :D
No problem! I was kinda bummed that it wasn't a default profile to select from CD Projekt Red. Had to do it myself :)

@@doodlearth Personally I think Street Kid. Aside from looking like he grew up on the streets. The "canon" presets are the first ones available when you select Street Kid. Naturally you can use the others, but the "canon" ones are presented first. Annnd also street kid in my opinion feels like the most fitting opening. I've done all three and I think Street Kid is the best! :)
Street kid and nomads fit corpo just seemed stamped on to me.

dude 10/10 remake. it would have been nice if they included his actual hair and stuff and its annoying he isnt a preset but you made an amazing copy! props! gonna be using this!

This is awesome! I also wanted my character to be the cannonical male version, and it's actually pretty close. But this is better. I'm loving the game and I've had no problems, so I'm going to start over using these options. Thank you so much. Merry Christmas! 😊

In all the videos I've looked up people have made their version of 'Original V' with a beard but the guy in the promotional material just looks like he forgot to shave

i think his eyes are smaller, also more brighter, and the jawline seems a little wider on the pictures, but you guys did it like 90%, truly amazing, im gonna try my own too

Maybe they've changed the character creation menu since the posting of this video, but my V looks nothing like that and I used all the same settings lol
They did. After all the updates everything is different and your V will not look like this.

why does your character looks so much clear and better ( graphics ) i played on ultra ray tracing but still couldn't see the hairs clearly like we see in this video ? can someone help me ?

Thank you so much. I don't know why there isn't a preset already for original v... Personally when i play a video game i like to have a set character, meaning i can see how they change over the course of the game, perfect example would be Jason from far cry 3.

Earring choice 11 in the game has the 2 hoops with nothing else, but it's in the opposite ear. Still the closest choice though.

v from the trailers is supposed to be the second default setting
Is this on PS5 or PC? Because I am running Ray Tracing on Ultra, and it doesn't even come close to looking this realistic. I even tried experimenting with Nvidia DLSS and the Resolution scaling, but I cannot get my graphics to look anything like this when I'm messing around with the facial features?! So are you on PC and using mods, and if so what mods?

Could you make a walktrough with original V male
I searched this in the launch day but no one making it yet, so I had to stick to my character creation. Usually for the first rpg playthrough, I use the default/ preset. Though after playing the game for >40 hours, I forgot how my character looks like because the game plays in 1st person and almost never goes to 3rd person. Hope that someone make a mod for this.

the best option for the eyes would be the first, I did it here and it was much more similar, you could even say that it's V from the trailer

it does look like the original but you dont explain how to create it lol, which story did you start with? which of the 4 male models you chose... anything at all...
only thing that's off is the hair, I think v has a more darker brown hair color but it still looks good.

Ok here’s something’s you got messed up trailer v has black or dark brown hair and has grey eyes and is more pale
God dammit here i go restarting the game for the fifth time (Not even joking, already did this two times because i messed up the skill tree and other two because you can't change the looks for some reason)
Was doing this as I watched the vid.. im playing on ps5 but of course the ps4 version and the graphics instantly pop out as horrible to me lol! Never seen it on pc but the hair actually has fibers and isn't just a blob.. now I have to decided if I should even play the game right now or wait for the ps5 patch 😕

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I’d have much more preferred a singular grounded character than a customisable one.
Hell, takemura looks, sounds, and dresses more like a protagonist than V.

Maybe, the way they made the game sounds like it was less an open world experience like say skyrim or fallout but more a story about V with side quest so maybe a lil like mass effect

Are u saying that the selections made here are not the same as what they are after 1.5...if so that would make sense as to why my guy looks sooo much more different
