@TangentJustice I'm gonna put it out there that actually base template does matter, and is in fact critical. When using the template you mentioned above, I didn't end up with the same results as you. When using your values with the first template in the list, I ended up with a bug eyed monster. Please work out which template you started from.
@@teeceebee9366 Overlaying the image is a trick for your eye. Try it, you can trick your eye into thinking it looks exact by overlaying. The one you are talking about, the profile is SO BAD.
This is the best Guts face I've seen out of all of them. I used it in my build, but I did make some changes to the eyes (and made the scar a bit smaller). I keep both eye positions at 125. For the left eye, I changed the clouding color to grey and changed the iris size to 100. For the right eye, I maxed the iris size to 255 and changed the iris color, clouding color and eye white color to an extremely dark red (3 R, 0 G, 0 B). I think that makes it look more like an eye socked filled with dry blood. I also changed his voice to Mature Voice 1 (I think it sounds more like Guts).
You could also make a good case for using the eye patch, given prototype manga Guts has one. Since you can't really close that right eye, it does come off a little awkward sometimes. But this is one top tier Guts. 10/10

All the other Guts templates look like he's had a shit ton of surgery. But this one is actually a very good template. Kinda reminds me of the studio one prime status of guts, that face on those statues seems like it'd be the best way to get the perfect representation of guts in elden ring

Guts's hair is very dark brown, not black, and I think the scar could be smaller and a bit lighter. But I think he nailed the facial structure. Seen the first anime of guts, not the remade version with the new artwork. But I probably will at some point.
I made it and it looks great even with an eyepatch! this is one of the best male character sliders I've seen I changed the appearance from adult to young tho, and the eye slider options are different as off 1.04 so be careful

As someone said below, I might put the eye patch on mine, since Guts wears that in the prototype of the manga (haven't seen the anime.)
Armors have never really been TOO important. Elden Bling reigns supreme over protection thankfully. Vigor stat and your talismans are most important for staying alive.

Bear in mind, Guts is in his early to mid 20s but bro looks like he's approaching his mid 30s. Realistic considering the amount of stress this guy experience on a daily basis. Accurate look minus the white hair on his head

People keep referring to non references like the hill of swords (Sverd i fjell), the big tree in elden ring (Yggdrasil ), and melania is based on common norse history of valkyrie not farnese. I love berserk and it annoys me when people think everything is a damn reference

I just did it and in game it actually looks like he dosent have an eye so i don't think it needs the eyepatch
or you can make maximum clouding on the other eye so that it looks blind/like a glass eye

You can literally play as guts in elden ring. You can even find a set that looks like the berserker armor, but you get it really late unlike the sword
