I just got a 2016 Scion TC, I'm financing it till I pay it off on a 5 year contract. I wanna remove the factory head unit and replace it with a JVC single din, that comes with an Aux jack. I also wanna upgrade my door speakers, and install 2 12's in the trunk.
I suggest adding some type of padding for inside the door, as the TC's are notorious for having door rattle even with the stock speakers.
my radio recently got a busted screen thanks to someone breaking into and trying to steal it you wouldnt happen to still have the stock one? id gladly purchase it for the right price

How do you get the AC direction knob out on same model cars. I have a 2104 scion tc
Hey did you ever get your answer or figure it out?
First you have to remove the security panel then you have to take out the head unit like in this video then you can pull the plastic out to remove that knob or to replace that knob.
I have a 2011, with the Apline head unit, and I just got the Pioneer head unit similar to yours. Only 2 of my connectors plug in, and I do not see a plug in for the antenna. Can you tell me which one is the antenna so I can look for some adapters? Also going to contact the wrecking yard I got the unit form and see if there are any adapters still in the car.. Thanks

Is it possible to just replace the glass on the touchscreen ?
We have not tried but I don't think it will be a straightforward process.
