Navigating the FCC site to find the correct page so that you can find where to download a copy of your Ham or GMRS FCC License is daunting. Here's how to navigate the FCC site, (as of May 30, 2022 . . . things can change.)
Here is a direct link to the ULS page.

Nothing is simple, not even a simple task like downloading a copy of your FCC Ham or GMRS license. Here is the link again for a direct link to the License Management page: wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsEntry/licManager/login.jsp
The FCC website IS a bear! And all for the “so called” necessity of paperless documentation!
Spent HOURS just trying to upload my username and Email address. No going back to the previous page, and if you make a mistake......... Good Luck correcting it! I had several ERRORS on my license update, and couldn’t figure out to correct them. Had to call them on the phone, and within 5 minutes the problems were “Hopefully” corrected! What a total pain in the butt just to receive my upgrade! Which I’m still waiting for.
On your third drill down they have removed the license U:S ... so what do we do now?
Not sure. I have to visit the site and see myself.
If you go online they don't show all my licenses I had .. it only goes back to 1994.. but I have been a ham since 1984 . And I had a couple of address changes. And nothing there either..
I think they've lost a bunch of data because I've heard they've done that with other hams
Email them and see what they have to say.
@@K4SRF I think its strange they got my novice call but not the novice date right .
I would definitely contact them to get it corrected. @@thefreese1
@@K4SRF I would... except I don't think it's important enough to hang online or on the phone waiting around... There's other people this has happened to. Just wondering how they are messing up ... I guess if I were worried about having that 10 yrs show up it would matter.. more prestige or something?
As long as I'm on the books as having a license , I'm good..

Hey, KD2QXQ. I AM AN EXTRA. I wanted a vanity license to shorten my call sign. I even paid someone to take care of it. Got no where. RWB 73
Did you apply for your vanity license directly through the FCC?
