@@ZaydDepaor Ruiz doesn't have the footwork to catch up with Joshua if he decides to box from the outside. He needs Aj to come inside, and as long as Aj decides not to he can't land.

@@ZaydDepaor Just have to disagree. Ajs to long and his feet are to quick. What can he do if Joshua just jabs, grabs and occasionally throws the right hand?
@@CHAVO-jl7sg Because he was being outboxed by a boxer that tactically approached the fight better. Boxing isn't just about throwing hands. Tactics are just as important. When Maywheather outsmarts all kinds of fighters he's also giving masterclasses when they don't manage to hurt him or fight back, he puts them in that position. Which Joshua also did in that second Ruiz fight.
Had Joshua done that in the first place he wouldnt have lost. He was confident enough to duke it out. He got smarter now...he could have steamrolled pulev and spanked him any way he wanted, but he was cautious to eliminate that little bit of risk that comes with that
idc what people say, Anthony Joshua is the GREATEST heavyweight boxer of this current time. He lost to Ruiz, no excuses or complaints. @@ryanmurphy5943 meh.. wasn't like he took a beating tho, AJ fought scared and won off of points.. not as bad as getting knocked out ,and dropped 4 times 😂
Joe your sources are wrong. He had a panic attack beforehand. He was literally in the corner asking his coach “why am I feeling like this”. He never got hurt in sparring.
It proves that the punch in the first fight was a lucky punch. It concussed AJ & he never recovered from it. Second fight AJ was on point & got his belts back.
There's no such thing as a "lucky punch". Ruiz meant to throw it as he was setting up the right hand. He caught AJ fair and square. AJ has been knocked down (almost out) by Wlad, and wobbled by Takam and Povetkin. He's been dropped and stopped as an amateur too.
@@oc911 the fact that no one is giving AJ credit, if it was a close fight then yeah weight might be an excuse for Ruiz but joshua ran rings around him even if Ruiz was lighter he wouldn't have beaten joshua
Nothing went wrong with ruiz?? Are you serious?? He was like 40 pounds overweight from the last fight. He pretty much gave the fight to AJ before stepping in the ring
@@feryea3689 According to interviews with Ruiz team, he actually did lose alot of weight before the Joshua rematch but felt "weak". When he arrived in Saudi, he piled on the lbs and trained himself over the last two weeks. And according to Joshua he wasn't KO'd in sparring leading up to the fight. He did have some medical condition that left him feeling exhausted all of the time and in the dressing room before the first match.
He wasn't lucky, AJ wasn't prepared to fight a slugger that could slip past his long reach. But for the rematch, AJ lost weight and worked on cardio to avoid getting hit by Ruiz's powerful shots
A one punch knockout can be considered lucky on certain occasions, but Ruiz dismantled Joshua in the waning rounds of the first fight. He had a good game plan and Joshua didn’t have an answer for it. No luck was involved in that fight.
You are illiterate and stupid and don't understand what you are watching...Ruiz is the most dangerous heavyweight on the planet...fluid, agile, powerful, fast, durable and skilled.... Joshua was fortunate that Ruiz turned up five stone overweight and didn't train. Ruiz was unnerving Joshua from the very first round in the first fight with his speed, pressure, reflexes, skills and aggression. People who understand boxing and fighting could see the Ruiz victory coming.
You could tell by the way Joshua reacted to being hit that he wasn't "there" all the way. This coming from a Joshua "hater". (I don't "hate" him, I just think he's WAYYY overrated) But props to him for the way he handled the fight after the loss. Classy.
Dude Is a great boxer. I can see why you think he's overrated Tho. He's got technical skill like few else in heavyweight have but his lack of athleticism can hurt him
I always liked the Marvelous Marvin Hagler’s philosophy. I saw a clip where he said he doesn’t want an entourage kissing his ass telling him how great he is. He has all that confidence in himself. All he needs to do is keep training. Then I saw another clip of him running on the beach screaming “War!”, and went on a 3 mile run as a result of being so pumped from that clip.
Before the loss my bro told me that Ruiz and some friends of his went into a foot locker in San Diego and we’re asking for all types of shoes and left a mess along with food they had taken in. They didn’t buy shit and just made a mess and Ruiz didn’t let the worker take a pic with him cause he didn’t “feel like it” lol I knew he was going to lose after hearing that story. Hopefully he got rehumbled
Your statement doesn't remotely resemble science, since cocaine is a strong appetite suppressant. it might make sense if he was smoking weed all the time.
That Anthony Joshua money blinded Ruiz. The same way it blinded Joseph Parker. Big money doesn't change you, it just magnifies who you are. If you are a coke addict money will make you worse. If you are into saving and investing, money will make you better.
I don't think is taken credit from Joshua we allredy knows he es one of the best, the think is Andy supost to be at the same level, i Saw many people making excuses for Joshua in the first figth as well.
It was a boring fight, Joshua did the Mayweather & was counting punches & running. Wack! I know I'm gonna get that "that's how boxing is" but like they said during the fight. Mexican fighters have to much pride to fight like that.
If Ruiz loses in his next 2-3 fights, he's done as a contender. He's already lost to Parker (okay it was a close fight but neither of them looked that great to be honest) and got decimated by AJ for 12 rounds. He might go full Buster Douglas and not ever recover from this.
Ruiz ate his own hype and let one fight get to his head. Ruiz didn’t win the first fight, Joshua just lost, the better boxer lost that night. Second fight Joshua boxed circles around Ruiz.
"Ruiz didn't win, Joshua just lost" That is literally the most dumb thing I've ever heard. Ruiz DID win, that's why Joshua lost. There can't be two winners smh
@wayne wayne... no he wasn’t, when both fighters were fresh Joshua was piecing up Ruiz. When Joshua began tiring down, his defense dropped and Ruiz made his move. The better boxer didn’t win that night, a chunky piece of lard got lucky.

Erik Hndez68 boxing isn’t only about knocking someone down..
This is awkward coming right after the video Joe interviewed him the first time, post AJ vs AR 1...
joshua just 'klitschkoed' during the match : jab, run, clinch, let's referee separate. jab, run, clinch separate.. win desicion.
It's very hard to KO a guy that short and stout with no neck. Joshua used the correct strategy for a guy like Ruiz
Here before the title gets changed from "Anthony Ruiz" 😂😂😂
Nahh I think Andy got outboxed and this is coming from someone that was rooting for him all the way. AJ used his distance to his advantage and wouldn’t go forward. Notice how AR kept asking him to come forward instead of stepping back
Randy Flores ya AJ basically ran from him the whole match he had no intention of getting into it with Ruiz.
Yeah that's how he won in the first fight he beat the shit out of him in the phone booth
Who’s Anthony Ruiz?
The guy that wasn't running.

Andy - "Yip and now you don't hear of him anymore" - Ruiz
Ruiz got blessed by fighting a bad joshua. Joshua came out the 2nd time with an actual plan and wiped the floor with him. Thats what happened.
How do you call running away from someone wiping the floor with them ? LOL
No, Joshua got gifted by Ruiz turning up for the second fight totally out of shape...and even then Joshua had to run and hold on for life. The real Ruiz destroyed the real Joshua in the first fight. You are someone who doesn't understand what you are watching.
@@ZaydDepaor Ruiz doesn't have the footwork to catch up with Joshua if he decides to box from the outside. He needs Aj to come inside, and as long as Aj decides not to he can't land.
@@mcr2356 No, watch Ruiz's footwork speed in first fight...Ruiz is quick to jump in and out...and Ruiz was even overweight in that first fight, at his normal weight he is even quicker, he isn't slow on his feet, he was immobile in 2nd fight due to putting on load of weight and lack of training...Joshua would not be able to escape Ruiz if even half fit.
@@ZaydDepaor Just have to disagree. Ajs to long and his feet are to quick. What can he do if Joshua just jabs, grabs and occasionally throws the right hand?
It should've been a great fight? It was a great fight. Amazing boxing masterclass by Anthony Josua. Great tactical fight.
Nah a fight is between two guys giving it there all. Ruiz did nothing

The fight was Anthony vs Ruiz
@@c9hr0ni4c Really!!!
MogMan HD he lost that respect brothe r
Ruiz fought just fine.. He was surprised with Joshua's outboxing, cautious strategy.
Had Joshua done that in the first place he wouldnt have lost. He was confident enough to duke it out. He got smarter now...he could have steamrolled pulev and spanked him any way he wanted, but he was cautious to eliminate that little bit of risk that comes with that
He's stupid if he believes he'll get a third fight with Ruiz.
James S. Anthony??
James S. You meant he’s stupid (ruiz) if he (ruiz) believes he’ll get a third fight with Joshua
You mean with Joshua
Other way around?
idc what people say, Anthony Joshua is the GREATEST heavyweight boxer of this current time. He lost to Ruiz, no excuses or complaints. Trained his ass off, came back, won the belt back and is looking again for the final belt to unify all the heavyweight titles and become one of the greatest of ALL time.
Why has this title still not been changed? His name is Andy Ruiz... Haha.
Title isn't referring to Andy Ruiz but rather to Anthony vs Ruiz match so they write it short as Anthony Ruiz.
Andy Ruiz still fought 12 rounds for a decision.

Finally someone with knowledge
In the title “Anthony Ruiz”
Lol
It proves that the punch in the first fight was a lucky punch. It concussed AJ & he never recovered from it. Second fight AJ was on point & got his belts back.
Ruiz was shite in the rematch, that's why ah won
It wasn't on point ruiz was 40 pounds overweight from the last fight
There's no such thing as a "lucky punch". Ruiz meant to throw it as he was setting up the right hand. He caught AJ fair and square. AJ has been knocked down (almost out) by Wlad, and wobbled by Takam and Povetkin. He's been dropped and stopped as an amateur too.
I’m on about the one he caught him with first obviously u fucking dipshit.
Give Anthony Joshua some credit. AJ out boxed him big time
This^
@@patrickmonkman8151 what you saying? This^??
@@oc911 the fact that no one is giving AJ credit, if it was a close fight then yeah weight might be an excuse for Ruiz but joshua ran rings around him even if Ruiz was lighter he wouldn't have beaten joshua

It's a shame Joshua gets no credit at all
Just realised this is 6mths on and the name in the title is still wrong 😂😂😂
“Everybody was kissing his ass” 😂 sounds about right.
Nothing went wrong with ruiz.. joshua just boxed the fight he should of fought in the first fight
@@feryea3689 You realise he is morbidly obese in the first fight too right?
“Anthony Ruiz” here before they change it to Andy Ruiz
Anthony Joshua went wrong. Joshua is the superior boxer.
Even if Andy Ruiz trained for that fight like he normally does, Ruiz has slow feet. Joshua would’ve outclassed him anyway.
The fighter that they referring to that knocked out Joshua in sparring was in fact Joey Dawejko. Very similar build and dimensions to Andy Ruiz.
Be humble in victory or defeat*
Andy has left the chat*
When he changed his name to Anthony that was the start of his downfall
Seeing Andy jumping into Anthony's interview to demand a rematch was gross. No respect shown to a guy who showed him respect after the first fight
he invited him you buffoon.
And Andy Ruiz cut ties with Manuel “Manny” Robles. A great boxing trainer. Bad moves. Lost focus.
Joshua was NOT right in that first fight. Something was going on. He WAS right in the second fight. Ruiz was complacent. That’s all there is to it.
HE GOT RID OF HIS TRAINER?!
Andy was lucky in the first fight that's it
He wasn't lucky, AJ wasn't prepared to fight a slugger that could slip past his long reach.
He'll b back ! Joshua outboxed my guy . He was banking on a toe to toe who can knock who out first. Probs to Joshua
He went from Hero to Zero in the span of two fights ...
Just shows you need the right people around you to keep your head straight ..
Lmaoooo everyone thought he was gonna be humble and really train. Pretty sad story for now at least.
Money went to his head he didn’t care in the second fight cause he wants that third pay day...🤷🏻♂️
Dan DJB Exactly. You nailed it. But just like Joe said I highly doubt he will even get that third shot. He already got two.
He's a nice guy, dreams came true, he can come back don't worry...

@@Xilefeltorrero Hopefully he doesn't blow the second fight paycheck which was considerably more.
He ain't, dudes lazy and it showed in the rematch.
People were worried leading up to the fight he's too nice, and doesn't know how to say no to people, and has very little self-discipline.
He’s always not the brightest
I think that’s part of it, but the real deal was that, Joshua got the gameplan on point.
"You sleep on a win, you'll end up with a loss." Connor McGregor
Not rocket science he couldn't stop eating and sniffing coke.
Clearly didn't sniff enough coke as that would've stopped him overeating.

Why is everyone acting like Ruiz only lost because he didn’t train. Stop taking credit away from Joshua🤦♂️
Hopefully he fights dillian whyte that would be a really interesting fight and would give Andy a chance to get his name back in the mix
Second fight Joshua boxed circles around Ruiz.
cipherP9 lol Ruiz was the better boxer the first night lmao. What are you on about.
cipherP9 hurry up and delete this
"Ruiz didn't win, Joshua just lost"
That is literally the most dumb thing I've ever heard. Ruiz DID win, that's why Joshua lost. There can't be two winners smh
@OfficialDropFactory ... read what I’m saying over and over again until you get it, ITS VERY SIMPLE.
@wayne wayne... no he wasn’t, when both fighters were fresh Joshua was piecing up Ruiz. When Joshua began tiring down, his defense dropped and Ruiz made his move. The better boxer didn’t win that night, a chunky piece of lard got lucky.
