Austin pilots the Boeing 757-200 from Atlanta (KATL) to Jacksonville (KJAX). Solid 9.3/10 on the landing.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! Full circle!
Been following AFP95 and the gang for a long while now, I’m super proud of you Austin. Congrats 🥳
Austin I remember you from older AFP95 videos and it put a big smile on my face to see you piloting that big beautiful bird. Super proud and congrats
All that's missing is a random spawn!!!
@brianpedersen4714 welcome to steam edition
Very nice, and butter landing love the FPS you're getting what's the specs? 🙃😉
Austin if you're seeing this, great job, dude!
Butter
If you didn’t see the dude above me, you suck

@Airforceproud95 are you lick but in the are!?
Really Improved the graphics for Flight Simulator! Impressive!

1:38 ngl I was expecting a hot air balloon doing a parallel takeoff at 150 knots
They shot it down an hour ago 😂
@@RudyOMP lol!
that would have been standard protocol but the server admin was a Karen and he got removed :(
0/10 there was no Hot Air Balloon going vertical at Mach 1.
(Great job Austin!)
We can’t have nice things in this country.
@@jacobrzeszewski6527Yeah someone would 100% try to shoot it down
@@asportnoy Try? They already did! China gave us a perfectly good balloon violating American airspace like kids on dirt bikes, and we shot it down.
Yes, it was a nice landing... but the _real_ question is: Can he takeoff from an aircraft carrier?
😂😂
Can he land on one?
Now the real question is can he get it to vtol
Can he handle being intercepted by F-18s?
can he land a hot air balloon on an aircraft carrier in IMC conditions?
Damn, they REALLY did a great job on the graphics.
Splurge for a 4090 you'll get this too

Austin used slew mode? No wonder the video is so short.
this comment deserves more like ngl
Oh, my gawd that is a beautiful view! Man, I can't wait for FSX to get the realism update like this. Lol awesome to see Austin, a pilot on the 757 who also flies VATSIM. Very pro
FSX got the realism update, its called MSFS.
@Fred Gassit I know that?
@@Gassit it’s a joke
@@Gassit at the moment I think FSX has better physics than MSFS, the MSFS physics for a lot of the aircraft are very plasticy if that makes any sense
Well done Austin! The pressure on that landing, knowing hundreds of thousands of AFP's subs would be watching it, must have been immense.
how far you have come austin! i've binge watched all of airfartpoops95's videos for years and to see you being a pilot in a simulator to a pilot in real life is actually staggering.
This channel has conditioned me for commenting on all the landings I witness with a "butter" (if the landing is indeed butter). I visited LAX ealier this year and when I was at the airport, I would silently mouth the word while looking and the landing on the runways. Not crazy at all.
Good job, Austin! Are you training to be a big boy commercial pilot, Airforceproud95?
I also add "rotatè"
@@Apollostowel I flew for the first time in September 2022. 4 flights total. Every single one on take off I said “V1…rotate…”
rotater sauce
Literally same for me lol. I also think to myself "(rotaté)" during takeoff.
I am glad I am not the only one that is doing this.
Imaging being a pilot in real life only to go home to pretend to be a pilot on your home flight simulator.
Truck Sim people in a nutshell
It's good practice.
An example of 'if you do what you love as a job you'll grow to resent it' not coming true. Some pilots love their work so much they get on their home sim system year after year.
...and then be told you don't know what you're talking about by a 14-year-old who is lawn darting a 737 into a neighborhood every 4 minutes. LOL!
You can go let your intrusive thoughts win
Your lucky to go in and see the cockpit of a commercial airline in this day and age. Good job!
Most airlines don't have a problem letting you have a look in the cockpit before or after the flight. No way they would let you in mid flight anymore though. Choice is up to the captain at the end of the day(and he has to follow airline regs).
@@danielstead6593 Last ones I've been on they did not give a shit about me wanting to see inside. It was "Have a seat, we need to fly"
@@craggslist damn that sucks, they could have been running late then I understand but here in New zealand I asked a flight attendant as I boarded if I could have a look in the cockpit after we land cause I fly them in the sim and she said she would ask the pilot and she came over to me mid flight and said he would be more than happy to have a chat. It was his last flight of the day and the first officer left and he had a solid 5 minute chat with me answering questions I had. Depends on the crew and time constraints I guess.
@@danielstead6593 Same here. Going to LAX, Vegas, Detroit, Norfolk, Charlotte and even Japan.
It helps if you have a kid that's interested in that stuff
3:29 -- I always love watching part of the cowling slide back when the engines are put in reverse thrust. It never gets old!
My favorite is seeing the inside of the wing when the speed brake goes up.
@@NikitaOsito equally as cool! and you can normally hear all the mechanicals working at the same time to push them out too!
@@NikitaOsito my favourite is seeing half the wing moving apart and wondering how all this holds together when full flaps are deployed
I also like that seat because you can see the flaps moving and you can see in some planes the wing bending in cruising altitude...
Think you're at the wrong gate again.
Millions of people around the world were glued to their screens for that moment 0:43 and it looks like you just happened to catch it by chance.
A guy taking his shirt off? I don’t watch sports so I know nothing more than that...
@@SomeOne-vf1rs it was the fifa football World Cup final and that country Argentina won it after many years so it was a big moment for everyone
@@yash3758 Ooh. That’s pretty awesome
@@SomeOne-vf1rs Is it cool to pretend that you don't know the world Cup exists? What a strange thing to say. Go look it up if you don't know? Not really sure how I'm supposed to reply to that...
@@anonymousinternetuser7519 Well you don’t have to because somebody else did, and I don’t watch or read up on sports at all, I don’t know why I’d try to seem “cool” to complete strangers on a youtube comment section, or why it would be cool to pretend to not know about sports?
Congrats to Austin! Amazing!!! 🎉
So the last time I flew Dleta, the pilot laughed at my "Gear Up" hoodie. It is UNREAL that I may one day fly in a jet piloted by an AFP OG like Austin. Great job, man! That was indeed butter.
Incredible Unreal Engine 5 mod. The FO, Austin, looked almost real. Cool to see you got early access to the BlueBird Simulations 757
I was waiting for the "butter" call.
The depth of reality is stunning....wow....must upgrade to 4090
4:20 nice
I was waiting for the 'Butter' you didn't disappoint.
Welll.... He did touchdown quite a way past the touchdown marker... :D I have to deduct .1 to make it a 9.2/10
Austin buttered that landing knowing you were on board…
Also fricken chad leaving the video at 4:20, back in 2016 you were a legend, now in 2023 your still buttering my freedom fries just as much
Great job Austin! We're very proud of you
Great seeing you in real life Austin! Smooth like butter indeed. Top notch 🎉 you’re funny flying AF1 in that looping over Juliana Tower video 😂
Butter indeed.
Way to do the FFM proud!!!
Watching this video I just realized that I have never been in the shadow of a plane before and probably never will in my entire life.
Austin is the guy who flies AF1 in loops over Princess Juliana and spawns at the wrong end of the runway. I can tell.
Proud of you Austin! Watched you in a lot of Airtoaster69’s video crazy to see how far you’ve come!
Beside the amazing new graphic, the audio processing and physic engine is also wonderful. What a time to be alive for enjoying flight sim.
Austin, you greaced the SHIT out of that landing, 10/10

Congratulations Austin
Even when you know the crew the rampers are still out there throwing your bags on the ground.
Those new graphics are so good, they look almost lifelike and realistic. And the sounds that go along with them are so in sync!
These graphics are killer compared to MS flight sim 2020! I wonder what PC he's playing on.

So realistic! Is this VR? Also did you fly the plane with a wireless Microsoft mouse and keyboard retailing in most stores for 19.99$
Nah, he's using a PS2 controller
@@quadgames1334 no you Goob he’s using a steering wheel
@@codyrocks1269 Still one of my favorite moments from those videos.
This is such a full circle moment, omg
Very cool! Not only the acquaintanceship but also just the flight in general. I love flying, and as a meteorologist, there's plenty to look at and interpret while on a flight. Keep the content coming!
I love how flying in a simulator makes you realise how robust modern planes are. My GF told me about the Qantas flight that lost an engine between New Zealand and Australia. As soon as she said Qantas I immediately thought no probs, then the fact it was a 737 I told her they're making it home. She couldn't believe that they can fly on one engine. I simply said, why do you think the long hauls have 4.
Oh wow! I didn’t know Austin was a pilot on the 757! Pretty cool if you ask me! (Also a bit sad to see these planes reach end of life slowly.. but.. good things come to an end as I always say)

ABSOLUTELY FRIGGIN' FANTASTIC! Way to go, Austin. 😀
WTG Austin! Welcome to DUUUUVAAALLLL, all y'all!
Slew mode: yes. Lol. Thanks for the video boss. Always nice to see some flight footage.
That's one heck of a pilot avatar Austin has there. Looks so lifelike. Hehehe....
That was one fine landing. Great job Austin.
These graphics from the new Microsoft Flight Simulator are amazing, and the community is still the same, I just saw a clip of an F-22 intercepting a balloon, just like in MFSX steam editon
Wow that new texture pack for flight sim looks amazing
Good to see the long legged Seattle Rocket still flying in the states!
Man msfs graphics are nuts now. I totally thought this was real until the landing because the cars on that highway were too consistent to be real. You should do more videos from a pax perspective.
Nice Austin!! Congrats!!
SLEW MODE: YES

Anyone remember the days where u could plug in headphones into ur seat and hear the radio of the pilots and ATC?
This was so professional. Recorded on VATSIM?
Came for the 757 engine sound. Stayed for Austin 👏

Wow those new graphics look amazing! Crazy how far things have come since FS 2000
Honestly such a wholesome video. Truly amazing what you can do with a PlayStation 2 controller.
Didn't expect this to be recorded on the Dec 18, 2022, aka WC FINAL!
Never have i heard a engine buzz that deep from the 757, great video man
