I just picked one up, a 2013 with just 44000 miles on it. After a wash, clay bar, buff, seal....she SHINES - looks almost brand new. The sound of this engine is nuts...especially with the top down. In 'M' mode the shifts are instant and the downshift sound is so race-car. I love this thing.

I’ve had an ‘11 E93 for the past 2years, i am never letting this go. A perfect all rounder. That S65 is just wonderful

You and me both, brother. Just paid mine off on Monday. I don't know how I could part with this thing. The S65 is bulletproof. No issues and I just hit 115k miles. The OEM Exhaust mod was clutch. Highly recommend.

I bought a LCI (2010), low mileage with DCT this spring. I'm the manual gearbox kind of guy, but when I tested both manual and DCT - DCT was just what made this car shine for me.
Since the engine is a high revving NA M-engine with the typical power boost at high RPM (like a friend said after test driving it - it really comes alive after 6k rpm), the DCT sure makes the best of the rather short full power range compared to a manual.
Now, just cruising with the DCT is also magnificient. The blurps it makes while upshifting at all RPM's (my favorites are sub 2krpm upshifts) and the rev-matches while downshifting, is nothing short of addicting.

What a beautiful car. They’ve aged so wells compared to the new horrible big grill BMWs

The engine alone would make this a hard car to let go.

Had one brand new from 2010 too for nearly 4 years, if I recall it was space grey metallic with red nappa, extended lumbar package, EDC.. basically with around 9k worth of extras. Mine was £69K RRP when I say the final invoice. What a machine, the sounding of the cold start on my ecustic garage was a sound to behold and the drives to the lake district (UK) was always very fun. Now I've got a 13 plate W204 C63 (same era) 100% stock and aint she is a monster. The naturally aspirated V8 generation is by far the generation of cars in my opinion. Thanks for sharing this video brought back so many great memories.

Glad you enjoyed the video - interested what you say about now owning a C63! That’s the one car at the top of my wish list. For me, the 6.2 V8 is one of the greatest engines of all time 👌

I have owned my 2013 E93 M3 for 10 years and only have 52,000 Km (32,000 miles). The car is wonderful and has been bulletproof. I hope to keep it for many more years.

The sound (when in car) goes really quiet and muffled at 9:17 🙁
But yea these V8s make amazing sounds! And great throttle response 😁
(I'm an owner of a manual e92 version btw).

No way you can feel difference between E92 and E93
    It just insignificant.
DCT is the king of transmission.
Just superior to manual in every way.
For me living in Florida E93 over E92 all day long

So the cabrio is cheaper than the coupe?

    • @FastandFun
      @FastandFun  2 года назад +4

Yes, slightly less desirable because of the added weight. Purest would want the E90 saloon or E92 Coupe.
