I might be slightly bias in agreeing with alot of what you said about it. In my opinion its the last of the true M3s. The bias comes from this is my car. Glad you enjoyed it and had some fun with it.
@nlxsteve I'm not the orginal owner of the car and it check every other box I wanted spec wise. For as good as the dct has been I can honestly say I'm happy with it even if nearly every one if my previous cars have been manuals.
Steering and suspension feels quite floaty in the video. Looks very ponderous with constant movement rather than firm and authoritative. Also, they actually weigh 3700+ lbs. The F80 M3 was lighter around 3650 lbs.
I love the motor, but unfortunately so does everyone else. They're not cheap, and at the end of the day it's still a 15 year old BMW. I'd say spend a little extra for an F87 M2 Comp, but those are more than a little extra. Nothing's cheap. I guess my conclusion is: It's a terrible time to buy lightly used performance cars if you're on a budget. Find another hobby.

If only it had a real transmission… 😂❤

Seems a lot like the Audi RS4 but maybe with an easier to point nose. The motor says go, the the rest of the car says give me another second or two.
@@Slowcarfastbeans Very true.
Plus F80 burns significantly less fuel making it more daily driver friendly.

Takeover spoiler is trash

Maybe ISF with mods instead?
that trunk lip is ugly, some people have no taste. m performance, crt or gts trunk spoiler only.
