I really love those kind of stories. Seeing someone who actually uses these cars everyday is absolutely amazing 👍. And futhermore it shows, that regular maintenance is the key. If you keep everything tidy even a car like the E92 M3 can be just as reliable as any other vehicle.

You have got to be joking. These cars, and I mean BMW's, are built to fail in so many little, expensive ways. I have it from the mouths of the engineers themselves. I even spoke with an engineer at ZF (who was kind enough to send me a repair manual for a transmission I had no hope of fixing myself) and he told me they can almost exactly pinpoint when things will fail. This was due to the fact that they did keep failing at an alarming rate and cost a fortune to fix when I wasn't being outright swindled by dealerships actually CAUSING issues. I have dozens of stories.
I owned twelve BMW's, from the 1 series up to two M cars, E60 M5 and E36 M3 Evo II Convertible. All of them were unreliable rot boxes.
I have also owned more than 12 Alfa Romeo's. Guess which I drive now and don't leave me stranded?

And like most vehicles if they not abused or thrashed within a inch of it's life then regularly find they will last donkeys years. doubt it's ever been bounced off the limiter or the brakes stamped on and glowing😮, I'd happily buy this m3👍

Awesome testament to the engineering - and a manifest that a BMW can, if cared for, achieve great numbers. Just bought a 2012 F11 530d xDrive two weeks ago here in Latvia - with 274 000 kms on the clock - but in a surprisingly fresh and unmolested state (came from Austria and was owned by an arab, no less) - hoping that my bimmer, due to regular care and maintenance (have replaced the temporary "cheaper" 5W30 immediatetely after the purchase - will replace oil - and filter - once again with the prescribed Castrol oil after a week for another 7-10 000 (not 30 000 as BMW recommends)) - also can run far into the 300 000 territory. Thanks for the video - and to the owner for letting you film his baby - best of luck from Latvia.

mine has only done 3.900. Has been in my garage for 12 years, more of an investment than usage. Lovely cars. I bought it for 35k and its now worth around 50.

These are normally locked away and for him to do that many miles and not care about the fuel or maintaining it is nice to see. It goes to show the key is to maintain it always and look after it. Anyone who doubts BMW needs to see videos like this. It needs a good wash but fair play to the guy. Go BMW!!!!! 👌

You MUST maintain these in order to keep them going for this long. Use quality oil, coolant, intervals, etc

My Seat Leon Cupra R MK1 is on 208,000. Daily driven, couldn't ask for a more reliable car. Regular maintenance is key

The video should have been longer! Lol Big up Tony great video love the way he’s brought the car new and it was the car he really wanted great choice of car also it looks very tidy so he’s looked after it there’s a lesson learned from him buy the car you want then save your money after you have paid for it instead of changing your car every 3 years and losing money. Keep the car mate as it’s going up and the V8 is dying Breed 👍🏾 Great video nice to see something different 👏🏾👍🏾👊🏽 love BMWs not sure about the drivers on the road they can be a pain lol. 😂
