"Anesthesiologist testifies IV bag tampering was the cause of patient emergencies" There, I fixed the title to make more sense.
Yes! And you can even clean up the end a bit more by saying “…tampering caused patient emergencies.”
@ILGuy2012, I used to work as an English teacher, and sometimes I would have students rephrase sentences, for which they would get a mark. @ILGuy2012, I am sorry for having to inform you that you have not passed the test :), and the reason is due to the fact that you did not adhere to the number 1 rule for rephrasing sentences, which is "do not change the meaning". The title of this video offers some specificity as to which Doctor is testifying, namely the "Anaesthesiologist who realized IV bags were behind patient emergencies"; however, in the title you wrote, it could be any Anaesthesiologist.
Yes, I was questioning how the IV's were hidden behind the patients!
God bless you.

That good doctor is lucky there was some videotape evidence that backs up some of his testimony about the criminal doctor. Otherwise it’s very possible he would be under investigation because they would find it too convenient that all of a sudden he realized this bag may be what’s causing the problems.
And also imagine all the Internet “experts“ that would believe they had solve the case. Recently an anesthesiologist saved a family members life. Proper testing prior to a colonoscopy wasn't performed. The Anesthesiologist refused to put my relative under until all prior testing was performed. My relative was on blood thinners due to a clotting disorder. The Anesthesiologist is the one who read her chart and knows that she could have bled to death. This was at a hospital where all her doctors were on staff. Yet the Anesthesiologist was the only one that took the time to read her medical and medication history.

@@KB-kp2oz I’ve had this doc for almost 20yr. I sing his praises far and wide as well as my pain management doc. It was ME who put off surgery.
When I could manage with just pain meds….thats what I did. I had a car accident in 2003 and tore 4 discs. They healed as bulges. I had a constant low ache that just never went away but with meds I just had to manage how much or how little I stood, sat etc. I didn’t feel limited and it worked for the most part. I had flares, got epidurals, radio frequency, physical therapy. All the things. In October of 2023 I was clearing brush on my property. I got a limb stuck in a that I’d cut….im weigh 110lb soaking wet so when I say I had to pull and pull….i was putting in work to get that out. It gave way and I sat down hard. I got up, kept going about my business without issue. 2 weeks later I’m getting ready for Thanksgiving and woke up one morning early….couldnt put weight on my legs without severe pain in my hip. It got worse over the day and over the next few days I couldn’t walk without tears.
My doc was going out of town for the month of December so I got in for an epidural….went home to wait the couple of days for it to kick in….it didn’t kick in.
Doc was gone….so I went to 3 chiropractors, 2 sports medicine doctors…1 GP. It had been so long since I’d seen anyone besides my neuro and my pain mgt that I didn’t know what to expect. They acted like I was crazy. My neuro is over an hour away and takes longer to get in with them so I had him scheduled for Feb. and my doc for mid January. I suffered so bad waiting on those appointments. My pain mgt gave me a nerve block which took the pain away immediately…..but my left leg…butt cheek, calf etc were shrinking. Smaller than my right. I had sprained my left ankle so many times I stopped going to get x-rays. From nerve block to surgery it took 32 days. After my surgery I could feel my foot. My low ache was 100% gone. I have pain from the incision and what he did (laminectomy/discectomy bilaterally) but I’d choose that surgery over and over again based off what I feel so far. My foot drop is almost non existent and it’s been literally days since surgery.
So yeah. I’m touting a “good doctor”. So far my pain is 75% gone and he didn’t poison me through my IV bag. Winning.

(I say this as the witness to police brutalizing my father because he angered the cops by choosing not to answer their questions --- in 1984 - he was arrested on the sole count of resisting arrest. Cops told all the bystanders that my dad had killed my brother. He wasn't even home when my brother died.... I was the ONLY one at home when he died).

If a doctor even admits to a little depression they can lose their jobs. It’s the same for pilots. That is just appalling. What kind of a psychopath does something like that??
WOW
What was his motive ?
"gave the jurors an extended lunch so they could go see the eclipse"
I think that's the least of their goddamn worries, judge
What kind of sick person does this? Life in prison!
When i went to work in the USA these stand alone surgicenters made me very uncomfortable. They permit Drsxwith Hero and God comp, exes to work out of site of the regular che ks and balances of the larger hospital setting, and OR oversight. Anesthetists get bored doing same cases over and over. Of course many days pass well. But as a healthcare professional, i dont lime opening doors for errors, and wrongdoers in order to earn more bucks. Add a new wing, or build another hospital to accommodate volume.
I had the WORST experience at a surgicenter clinic. They literally did my surgery in a closet without general anesthesia ... and it wasnt minor surgery!
They should do a deeper investigation. Into the dr,
A deeper investigation into what doctor? This story is about the criminal trial for a doctor who tampered with IV bags, and in particular, this story is about the OTHER doctor who put the pieces together and realized it had to be the IV fluids causing the problem. THIS doctor is the whistle-blower. The other doctor is on trial
@@LadyLithias What Dr. do you think?
People, they ARE investigating and detaining the perpetrator……why are you assuming they have done nothing?
The children’s hospital continuing to harm children and now this 😡
Why do they not name the doctor or show him!!??? It’s Dr. Raynaldo Ortiz of Dallas who did this.
go to 2:34 timestamp. they name him and show him
This is stuff for a horror movie. What I’m not clear on is finding a small hole in one of the IV bags. Do they mean detecting a hole where you normally add medication ?
Someone injected epinephrine into saline IV bags. It was a puncture hole.
I think the bag, rather than the port.?
@@kurtvanluven9351 Thanks.
In summary, I believe that what was happening was that the BAD guy was injecting epinephrine (a strong stimulant) into IV bags, and then placing them where they'd be the next bag used. This led to one person's death, and a whole lot of significant issues during surgery that were at first inexplicable.
THEN, an anaesthesiologist who almost lost a patient, as any GOOD guy might do, kept going over the events he'd witnessed - in perhaps more than one case - and on a hunch, during another emergency, he ordered that the IV be switched, which it was, and the patient's heart rate came down from near lethal levels.
Then the HERO doc decided to bring up his suspicions to the higher ups, only to arrive on scene where another trauma was occuring. He suggested, and they agreed, that nothing should leave the room. And that the IV bags should be examined, and the contents tested. They almost immediately noticed a small hole as of someone having injected something into the IV bag. Once they had that evidence, they looked back on their cameras, and caught Doctor BAD GUY seemed to always be putting IV bags in the warmer - something that isn't in his job description, and mighty suspicious if he was doing that every time that the patient almost died (and in one case did die).
They they built their case, and it's in court. The Prosecution have rested their case after this guy's testimony, so that the jury can think about how evil the Bad Guy is. On Monday they'll be back in court, but will get a longer lunch to enjoy the Eclipse.
@@kurtvanluven9351 Thanks.
Oh no!!😢
Whats wrong with people?😮😢😮😢
Thank God for that one doctor who figured it out!
Why are doctors going home and using IV bags to rehydrate?
Alcoholics
Lots of rich people do that
@@nomanejane5766 I think you mean idiots.
You think perhaps this doctor is going koo koo?
Going? WENT! No other explanation. He was already in trouble for not reporting other ‘tangles’ with the law to the Texas licensing board. He also had TWO other reprimands. He was a bomb ready to go off.
@@kimlandefeld3005wow...is it too much to ask that the doctors on our health plan ARE NOT MURDERERS FRESH OUT OF THE PEN?!!!!
Duh….
