- A jury of eight women and six men will hear the case against Dr. Raynaldo Ortiz. That includes twelve jurors and two alternates. Ortiz walked into the courtroom wearing a navy suit and sporting long white hair. At times he wore a face mask.
27 years working in a Hospital, never saw a Dr., stocking anything. They actually have people who do that.
Makes no sense how this happened so long without anyone thinking it's more than strange. Didn't nurses get it. Just crazy.
17 years in a acute renal, hemodialysis and ICU I never saw doctors stocking or grabbing own n/saline or any fluids. Doctors will verbally order to the nursing staff to grab certain drugs or fluids.
Those were his tester bags….
Sociopath 🤦🏽♀️🤬
This is horrible. We are at the mercy of people. Hard to understand that a medical professional would do this.
This doctor was angry that he was losing his job, so he sought revenge by killing patients. Horrifying!
He could have start looking for a new job, instead decided to kill. smh
Jail forever he has to go through what his patients had
Not his patients but his VICTIMS, and well, that would be death. There was one of those, right?
ICU RN here... THIS IS DISGUSTING
Nurses are the best! Hope you have a great day.
my daughter is an R.N. you're angels of mercy. I love you all. the new greatest generation
Be honest you KNOW IT IS IN COLLAPSE as is nursing. I am glad I am out! You risk your licensure everyday and no one will help you or stand up for you if an error occurs! Sick, twisted system!
I've been an RN for over 30 years and I've seen some crazy 💩 but this surpasses anything x's 1,000. That's a psychopath right there. Imagine justifying something like this because you might lose your job.
Ok icu rn
What the hell is wrong with some people!!!
Why are people so evil? What kind of kicks do they get from doing this? It isn’t the first time anesthesiologists have done this! Sick! Sick! Sick!
Dr evil like Kanye west says in that song heartless
This is terrifying!
Why just Why did this Dr?? Engage in such an evil act and how did he get away with it for so long ‼️
Most likely a sadistic psychopath.
Why did that Dallas hospital let him get away with it so many times!? They never should have hired him in the first place, after shooting his neighbor's dog. Shame on that hospital.
Why would anyone do this?
For the doctor losing his job meant the end of the world.
At least in prison he doesn't have to be homeless 😂
He is a criminal
Hes a murderer
Is this the 'pointing out the obvious' thread? Lol
He is not convicted yet. Let him have a trial.
incomprehensable! . so you snapped and now you are going to loose your job your license your freedom?!
Obviously no more tainted IV bags since his arrest!!
Why?! Damn.
Absolute criminal!
What a psychopath!
People died from withholding medicines that wld have cured covid
That would be a reason to take a license away and lock him up. Unfortunately they go after nurses for punity. If perhaps you had more nurses you would have more eyes and these patients would not have suffered like they did. Sorry folks Our healthcare system is in collapse.
Evidence is circumstantial, but as a doctor--there is no reasonable doubt that he did it.
Understand that everything is circumstantial.
There's two types of evidence: Direct, and circumstantial. Direct evidence is eyewitness testimony: Person A saw person B commit the crime. Everything else - fingerprints, DNA, ballistics, photographs, even surveillance video - is all "circumstantial". And really, people's memories are crap. A LOT of circumstantial evidence is way better than direct testimony.
is that video of him circumstantial? Its usually called direct evidence..
@@chimo1961 Well, yes. It is. Can you tell from the video that this particular bag has been tampered with in any way? Does the video show him tamper with the IV bag? Does it capture him twisting his classic evil villain mustache while monologue his plan? No. The videos are only particularly significant in that he did it 10 times and each time was followed by a medical emergency. That is the very definition of circumstantial.
Edit - I'm guessing the holdup here is that people seem to have adopted a misunderstanding of what circumstantial actually means from some old tv shows and movies. Circumstantial evidence is not necessarily weak evidence. The word just means that you just have to look at the totality of the circumstances.
@@ColonelSandersLiteEvidence: Doctors never stock supplies or anything else.
@@chimo1961 It does not show him injecting marcaine into the IV bag. It is not direct evidence of guilt. He could still have claimed he grabbed one too many for a case, didn't need it, and then put it back. It is circumstantial evidence as it is "evidence that suggests criminal activity," but it does not "speak for itself."
Dastardly!
Dude, why? !!!! 😮
WHAT ELSE ARE "DOCTORS" TAKING HOME?? FYI: There R No COINCIDENCES!
So is this Guy a serial killer?
Attempted… everyone using one of these IV bags AT THE FACILITY survived. The one who didn’t had brought the IV bag home. Medical folks sometimes do this as it’s very safe! Just like eating at a restaurant, it’s very safe, unless someone is poisoning the food/IV bags.
The guys mouth is an upside down smile, not good at all.
Weirdo
I agree. I've noticed that same thing in the photos of many killers 🤔
Awful.......... Perhaps he has done it to multiple people before he was discovered!!!!
Whats so weird is that he would be in a better light if he tried to hurt these people for the trill of it, but to think that he just did this to send a message? wow
Huh?
Watch the whole video before posting stupid comments lol
Homicide and intent to commit homicide by the doctor who tampered with the IV bags that resulted in death of one patient and serious complications in others. No accident, but intentional acts by a professional who certainly understands the dangers of what he is doing. Being premeditated, this may qualify as 1st degree murder. Only the prosecutor putting the case together, the evidence and the jury will be able to sort this all out. Who knows the motive? Evidence of a wrong doing does not have to reveal the motive to prove the case.
True, but the jurors hearing what the motive was would definitely help.
@@NorthBayFCT Apparently they have found a motive and it was very bad. Yet, even without the motive, he should be charged to maximum extent of the law.
Omg!!! 😮 what an evil thing!!
I might be wrong, but wouldn't it have been easier to just get a job elsewhere? Even if it paid less it would pay more than prison.
That's the logical conclusion. But I guess murderers don't care about logic. Maybe he just used the situation as an excuse to hurt other human beings.... 😮😮😮
Did Dr. Ortiz pull a syringe out of one of the IV bags, or tamper with it in an aggressive motion, on camera? Was it a symbolic action which might help to establish criminal intent? Was this possible anomaly explained in the trial?
Serial killer???
In his minor defense, why did she misappropriate hospital supplies for her own use? Unfortunately, the only one who didn't survive smh
I wonder when was the first incident??? How long
Is there a possible RICO component to these alleged crimes?
Nope... whole different class of crime
Why am I not surprised ?
PRAISE THE LORD FOR GIVING THIS HONORABLE MAN THE INSIGHT TO KNOW AND IMMEDIATELY SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON !💔🙏🙏🙏
Because of him how many lives have been saved that would have been lost !!!
🙏🙏🙏
“The greatest want
of the world
is the want of men - men who will not
be bought or sold;
men who in their inmost souls
are true and honest;
men who do not fear
to call sin
by its right name;
men whose conscience
is as true to duty
as the needle
to the pole;
men who will stand for the right
though the heavens fall.”
By Ellen G. White
This man is a wonderful example of this ! 🙂🙏🙏🙏
May God Bless Him and lead him into all truth ! 🤗🙏🙏🙏
Sadly, he probably won't lose his license to practice medicine. 😕
If he poked holes in all these different bags, why weren't they leaking before they were used?
If I'm not mistaken, one syringe hole wouldn't generally be enough for them to leak; you'd have to have at least one other hole, or one bigger than that caused by a syringe.
I’m an RN who used to work in anaesthetics in Australia. There’s an outlet with a rubber stopper & that’s where we inject drugs into the IV bags. The rubber stopper reveals after the needle is withdrawn.
Reseals not reveals.

Pure evil
Whether greed or a sick sense of seeing people on the brink of death, I hope they put this man UNDER the jail. These people went in for otherwise normal procedures only to nearly DIE (one did die at home) on the operating table. Wish him nothing but the worst in life.
Bring back the draw and quarter!!! Insane number of people with horses now.
What s the motive ?? Unbelievable
To make the other doctors lose their patients. They implied his intention in the video.
@@michaellee2910wow 😮
Damn this is ridiculous
Small point here. Was she allowed to take that bag home?
What does a murderer look like….# Doctor
Naw all these hospitals need audits where the medical board dafuq is this !!
Unless you get an outright confession, many cases from a hospital is often circumstantial because of the sheer number of staff potentially involved and the difficulty in following products that contaminate. Just scary when we trust doctors and nurses so much. Those poor people and all over a job.
This guy is mad about something.
Another product of DEI
HTTP is not a stateful protocol!
Instead of saving lives, he prefers to take lives.
He was found guilty yesterday.
Ontop of everything we have to worry about in life , now we have serial killer anesthetist . God help us! 😡😡🙏🏾
similar to the case where an icu nurse was poisoning iv bags
Who cares if there has never be a case like this before
There was a case in England where a local doctor killed dozens of older people by injecting heart stopping drugs. He got jailed for life and died recently
It's usually kept quiet. This one got exposed 😂
What a great country we live in these days
I'm an immigrant. But did you eugenicist warn you 100 years ago.
Your country was founded on genocide and slavery
He thinks he’s an Oklahoma Goldman super trucker trooper!!1!
Guilty
Devil
He was a serial killer in the making.
Was he A Gambler, or on Substances
“Raynoldo Ortiz”, yah that says it all.
Not sure what it says
I am anaesthetist _ intensivist. If he has done these , he is a monster
Not if… he did it
Thats why i felt weird after the procedure. He had those shifty eyes
.
Playing God.
Shouldbe in your own country then
You first
Did you check and see where the guy was born? A lot of Hispanic family’s are 3+ generation American
Sounds like something an Ivy League social justice warrior md would do
College anywhere would’ve been an upgrade for you but your parents knew you weren’t worth investing in. Not that they had any money but they weren’t about to take loans on a losing bet
Huh?
My grandma says people go to hospital to die.
Death row....
Dr. Ortiz. Need I say more????☹️👎
Scott and WHite. That figures. Worst hospital system ever. I spent nearly a year trying to see an MD and not a PA because I found a tumor on my chest xray. Of course a PA does not know how to read an x-ray, their job is to limit your care. By the time I was allowed to see an MD, and get a CT which was denied to me, I had to have a pneumonectomy and lost 3 lobes of lung. However, if I had not been an RN and kept persisting, I would have been dead. In Temple TX, Scott and White is the only game in that part of the state.
DEATH Penalty!!!!!
