      Yet he still thinks the responsibility falls on patients to “get to know their anesthesiologist” instead of calling for hospitals to enforce stricter filters on their personnel through psychological tests or doing whatever he thinks patients should be doing to “get to know” hospital staff.

      e.t.a.: the question the reporter most likely asked was "what do you have to say to people following this" or something else vague along those lines - i doubt he was giving that answer as his actual This Will Solve The Problem answer

    Registered Nurse here! I was assaulted by an anesthesiologist from Puerto Rico!!!
    After my surgery, two days later, my breasts were soooo sore!! I felt as if I’d been assaulted!!!I know that little a hole assaulted me!!!😭😭😭My heart breaks for this man whose wife was murdered by that vile man who called himself a “doctor”

      Maybe you went to cardiac arrest and they did CPR to save your life. As a RN you must know there are multiple people male and female in the OR. so all of them assaulted you?

      ⁠​⁠@@dryb3301if CPR was performed on her, it would’ve been communicated. It’s possible that she was assaulted; maybe in or out of the operating room. We don’t know what happened, but it’s her testimony that she was assaulted. Let’s not downplay what we don’t know about.

      He gave his wife the IV bag with the result being almost immediate. The last thing he suspected was the IV so it was still hooked up when the first responders arrived. I cannot even imagine that.

    Why . . . Why . . . Why . . . ??? My husband died of cancer 8 years ago. The grief and sense of loss is excruciating and although it gets easier it always lives within, just under the surface, waiting to ambush you at the strangest moments. I feel so terrible for the Doctor who lost his wife and all the other grieving families. These monsters never come up with a reason for what they did and they seem to feel nothing.

    It isn’t social hour or a moment for psychoanalysis. It is on the hospitals and the boards and regulations to keep tabs on this and filter our socios like this guy.
    It isn’t the first time something like this happens. In some instances (a particular case during the early 90s) the hospital knew patients were being poisoned and they just let the guy go without any violations and he was able to even go to other countries and do the same.
    The sy$tem doesn’t care about you.

      He was put on a disciplinary for incompetence because of a couple of accident that happened with his patients. 2 days later he started poisoning the IV bags of other doctors to try and make it seem like things were just going wrong for all the doctors in the hospital and not just him, to make it seem like it was a systemic issue instead of a him issue

    I've had over 20 surgeries. I've only been allowed to meet my anesthesiologist before surgery twice. And yes, I ask to meet them on planned surgeries. I'm so glad this so-called Dr. is going to prison!
