@Embodiment of destruction I don't know why they're so sensitive. Old Broly was like a tank, he was vicious and just destroyed everyone, he didn't react to damage. New Broly would get hit and react, it didn't give me the same sense of invulnerability that the old one did.

New Broly appears more vulnerable. He reacts to damage, he feels pain. He definitely is not as savage as the old one. Power level aside, the old Broly in his legendary form was vicious, he even killed his own father.

Untrue. The "other forms" of original Z Broly were just Zenkai boosts to his Legendary form upon surviving a near-death experience. While there are stages of his control being lost in the first movie, graduating from "Controlled SSJ" (where his hair goes from black to a kind of purple-green) Base SSJ (full yellow haired but not bulked), and Legendary (Hulk), these are all just varied degrees of his control over his power slipping rather than individually distinct forms. Bio-Broly is widely considered non-canon, as are most of the movies tied to the original franchise. They're more like What If scenarios than actual sagas. Broly himself was rendered non-canon with the advent of Super Broly, so the entire point is moot in general, but yeah. Bio-Broly isn't actually a thing that he's able to achieve on his own, and even the various Zenkai boosts to his maximum power are barely a drop in the bucket compared to Super Broly's three separate forms, Ikari, SSJ, and Full Power SSJ.

Old Broly had base, SSJ, LSSJ forms. He also had the one which made his hair look teal. It's forever a debate and guess whether it was his restricted SSJ form or if it was his legendary form without SSJ. I personally think it was his full power buff that made him 'legendary' but without going SSJ. That's definitely multiple forms even if you don't count his restricted form I dunno what ya'll arguing about

I like the old broly because he looks like broly, but the new broly depending on the angle, he looks like goku just super buffed.
My thing about this is ssj older broly has a personality while the newer broly in his ssj form is just rage and doesnt even talk. The older one can talk as well as make calculated moves like realizing the connection between goku and gohan to taunt goku unlike the newer one which is impulsive and reckless. Yes the power levels are different but they also fight the z fighters at different points of time and therefore a different amount of experience available. And the newer one was just rage based while the older one was intimidating and menacing

When goku punch the old broly. goku gave him all his power on that punch and broly couldn’t control all that power accumulated and that’s why he exploded. That punch wouldn’t be enough to beat him.

the energy that vegeta gave goku was a part of his soul and spirit it was practically god energy thats why goku was able to beat him the first time. the second time it was a family kamehameha that was also with some sort of spirit / god energy. both amazingly devastating attacks that would send either broly out of the planet/galaxy. i like new broly's personality more and im glad there is an alternate version of him that is good thats cool and all - but I think old broly has the win unless new broly can somehow blast him lightyears away into space. that seems to be the only thing that works and he will be back eventually he just flies slow
