I'm just now watching this video but the moment Broly took a point blank, super saiyan charged, Kamehameha to the face and didn't even flinch I knew it was a wrap. Hope he points that moment out.
5:58 To be fair, Vegeta wasn't lying 😅 when he heard "legendary super saiyan", he was assuming that it was the SSJ they all were familiar with. Wasn't till Broly showed up that he realized that being a Super Saiyan isn't what makes it legendary... there's a whole legendary category of it, unreachable by everyone else but Broly. 😅 (Oh, and Kale, different universe though)
Vegeta was in shock because he didn't believe the stories of a legendary super sayan besides himself, Goku and other sayans he knew of. It's like us humans seeing the true and living GOD. We will be as astonished as Vegeta was in the mist of such a powerful presence. Broly transformed like 4 times effortlessly. The last transformation was my favorite too when Broly exploded. I got the chills several times when I first seen that last transformation, I kept rewinding that part over and over.
That's why tfs DBZ Broly movie Vegeta had that same reaction, ain't no way you are going to stand there nonchalantly in a powerful presence like it's a Tuesday for you. I would be absolutely astonished and smeckledorfed by being in such a powerful presence
Vegeta wasn't a fraud in that movie. He knew about broly. He knew he was the legendary ss. He knew the power broly had. He's the only villain that ever put fear in vegeta. That's something right there EDIT: Bro,you're hating on vegeta hard, lol. That was fear. Vegeta had heard stories of the legendary ss since he was a child. Imagine hearing stories of something terrifying as a kid and growing up to learn its real.
Vegeta in despair really sold the movie and Broly. He's the only one who actually knows how powerful Broly is. Which makes his moment of nutting up EVEN more badass
From all of the saiyans though, Vegeta arc is the one i could relate to most as having a proper human emotion. Ego got smashed by stronger characters and committed his whole existence to hard work and being stronger than anyone around, getting inspired by the one he hates aka Goku. Even when Goku went Ultra instinct, found his own Ultra ego personality. I just admire how he's written even when he isn't the saviour of the world. He's the one who grinds.
I SO hold it against him, as much as he talks about pride and being a proud warrior he should've led the charge, hell nah, the writing did him dirty this movie.
@cameraredeye3115 if you KNOW vegeta then you'd know why this movie was basically a character assassination lol And given the context of now SUPER I'd say my comment holds truth. Vegeta has went up against the odds before.
Great to see the youngsters keeping Dragonball alive. Love the edit. Vegeta SMH LOL ( When I was a kid Vegeta was my favorite but as I got older I realized pride is everyones down fall)
Any fan of the series has to watch this movie twice when they first see it! It's just so unbelievable how he doesn't even have to try. And still there's no chance for them to win against him.. ..... This movie made dragon Ball z history in the hearts and minds of every fan!! I don't even have words to describe broly vs everybody else in this movie...
It would have been cool if there was a scene of goku and broly trading blows at the end before goku just one shots him. That would have given more value to the "real fight" beginning and ending.
Im a big vegeta fan. He was a punk for a while around cell and this movie. But he has grown and decided what he really wants. It started with Majin Vegeta.
It's annoying that they didn't explain in the movie that Goku wanted everyone's energy because he figured out that Broly had a weak spot. Goku punched Broly in the same spot King Vegeta stabbed him in, so no matter how powerful he became, that scar was his Achilles heel. Not diving into that made it feel like the most undeserved win in anime history. The super spirit bomb on Buu was obviously the only option, but with Broly, it felt like the kind of ass-pull that they should've been doing with villians a long time ago that they used just for this one movie.
I'm a hardcore Vegeta fan through and through, but you're not wrong. They made him act like an absolute bitch in this movie. I mean, I get having a crisis, but at least let the man do *something* when he finally snaps out of it! Love the vid! 🤙🏾
The fact that Vegeta has millions of fans inspite of the series always disrespecting him, shows how much of an awesome character he is. If only he was treated a little better, his fanbase would be 10 times bigger than Goku.
Toriyama wanted to kill him off after saiyan saga. But fans loved him so much that he was put as a main character. Toriyama has openly said he hates vegeta and the story is all about goku being the hero so its no suprise that he conatantly disrespects him in the writing.

@@keivonmayes4907he was more like savage animal
Either way the super movie was boring
@@gizmothehusky7676 except fight was good but story is just typical bedtime story
I just love that roshi was absolutely hammered the whole movie.
Same lmao
OG Broly was diabolical 😭
one of my favorite Broly lines is after goku says "Can't you give us a handicap?" broly says "Is that another word for coffin?"
Broly : Beat ups Gohan.
Me: Yo he just a kid.
Broly : If he can crawl , he can brawl.
Underrated af
Saiyans gon saiyan.
Broly was so strong even his ki blast did serious damage
Broly really speedran whooping vegeta 💀
Bro spanked vegeta
Bro it was like a guy built like a football player vs a thin ass man
I'm just now watching this video but the moment Broly took a point blank, super saiyan charged, Kamehameha to the face and didn't even flinch I knew it was a wrap. Hope he points that moment out.
I was like, "They're done. They can't win." Let's not forget that field goal kick on Piccolo... Broly was an absolute menace to society.
He takes the hit that disintegrated half of perfect cell
"Me? A monster? No. Im THE DEVIL!!!" Enough said
SO GOD DAMN COOOOL!!!
I watched this movie so many times I can't even count. Damn I miss Dragon Ball Z...
The smirk on OG Broly when Vegeta punch him on the chin still give me goosebumps
Same
5:58 To be fair, Vegeta wasn't lying 😅 when he heard "legendary super saiyan", he was assuming that it was the SSJ they all were familiar with.
Wasn't till Broly showed up that he realized that being a Super Saiyan isn't what makes it legendary... there's a whole legendary category of it, unreachable by everyone else but Broly. 😅 (Oh, and Kale, different universe though)
To be fair I’d be shittin bricks too if I had to fight a buff ass damn near 10 foot dude that just ate all my attacks.
Broly dancing the orange justice was atrocious LMAO.
That staredown between Goku and Broly was the hardest thing ever. One of the few times Happy go lucky Goku actually gets serious.
Broly so strong, he flexes and it changes the time of day
The helplessness and sheer brurality in this movie is just rare
9:18
broly = me trying to play video games
piccolo = my responsibilities
goku = a good night's sleep
Broly was surrounded by 10 opps pointed at the strongest one and said "you kakarot I choose you to be the first of my victims"
13:20 is funny as hell 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
That's something right there
EDIT: Bro,you're hating on vegeta hard, lol. That was fear. Vegeta had heard stories of the legendary ss since he was a child. Imagine hearing stories of something terrifying as a kid and growing up to learn its real.
Like working 9 to 5
exactly. it`s like seeing the actual boogieman that your parents told you to be afraid of your whole life.
Vegeta in despair really sold the movie and Broly. He's the only one who actually knows how powerful Broly is. Which makes his moment of nutting up EVEN more badass
The only? He shat his pants from ape Gohan, the Ginyu force, Freeza and Android 18.
@@jase276 I agree. It's like he was conquering his biggest fear. Even though it wound up conquering him in like 30 seconds lol
This movie is pure nostalgia. There used to be an edit with Bring Me To Life playing in the background. Was so cool.
13:58 My Ki irs rising..... Overflowing!
Killer instinct announcer: SUPREME VICTORY!!
Everyone after Movie 8: “Broly is a FREAKING MENACE!!! HE’d DESTROY SS2 GOHAN!!!”
Everyone after Movie 10: “….. Is Broly…. Special???”
I stopped believing anybody on Goku side when I saw Broly take a Kamehameha to the face without breakin a sweat
Facts broly in the first movie was straight cold, he was talking his shit in that movie to 🔥🔥🔥
That last punch on broly must have been the wildest ass pull I ever seen😂😂
Bro I loved the whole video and commentary. You was spot on. Especially about Vegeta 😂. Broly broke his ass.
That scene after the Kamehame wave failed when goku is falling and the glass cracks as Broly is swinging is goated!
For a character he hates, Toriyama sure knows how to make Vegeta a badass
The fact broly ran in the bedroom to run the fade had me dying when i saw it. U wildn my guy 2:04
0:40 This creases me up everytime I even think about it his face matches the audio so well 😂😂😂😂😂
i wouldnt hold this one against vegeta, Z Broly was metal AF
I SO hold it against him, as much as he talks about pride and being a proud warrior he should've led the charge, hell nah, the writing did him dirty this movie.
@@metal882This was essentially a prince going up against a GOD. What did you think was going to happen? LOL
@cameraredeye3115 if you KNOW vegeta then you'd know why this movie was basically a character assassination lol
And given the context of now SUPER I'd say my comment holds truth.
Vegeta has went up against the odds before.
Bro Vegeta needs to be put on the fraudwatch immediately
Might have to man 🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Nah yall cant do my son like that cmon fam
@@raviolihands5347 nah Vegeta needs to be on fraud watch
Nah Broly's black force energy is different 😂😂
Did anybody else hear realize that Goku and Vegeta were the only two in this film that managed to land shots on Broly throughout the whole movie
That transformation was awesome
Great to see the youngsters keeping Dragonball alive. Love the edit. Vegeta SMH LOL ( When I was a kid Vegeta was my favorite but as I got older I realized pride is everyones down fall)
Z Broly forever the GOATED Legendary Super Saiyan 💯
We loved him soo much they made 3 z movies for his broken af ass 🔥
Any fan of the series has to watch this movie twice when they first see it! It's just so unbelievable how he doesn't even have to try. And still there's no chance for them to win against him.. ..... This movie made dragon Ball z history in the hearts and minds of every fan!! I don't even have words to describe broly vs everybody else in this movie...
This movie has the best sound track of all the dbz movies
In the sub, Broly calls himself the Devil. Accurate, cause this man out here on demon timing
It would have been cool if there was a scene of goku and broly trading blows at the end before goku just one shots him. That would have given more value to the "real fight" beginning and ending.
I agree
My thoughts too lol
Well he did hit him in his only one weak spot where he got stabbed as a baby so I don't hate it
@@bryankennedy3719 Its pretty anti-climatic to me and seems rushed. A villain like broly shouldn't go out like some side character.
@@donnish3326 totally agree
Piccolo:you just gone pick on the kids first
Me as the villian:hell yea its fun
Bro why has this video gotten so little views? You did a gella fucking good job man.

255k in a month for a small channel is no easy feat. Something is working. Also, OG Broly is best Broly
The Dr. Umar cameo was priceless! 🤣😂🤣😂!!!!
8:22 that is a WICKED thing to say wtf😭😭
Zbroly and Bardock movies were so violent and so DBZ. I had them in Japanese voices and the yells/screams in og voices were pretty intense
Im a big vegeta fan. He was a punk for a while around cell and this movie. But he has grown and decided what he really wants. It started with Majin Vegeta.
Yo. As a kid that grew up late 90s and early 2000s and actually watching this on Tsunami. This was spot on 🔥
2:09 as you can see, broly basically told them to f*ck off😊
The Vegeta roast was completely necessary 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Aight since everyone askin for it… part 2 otw 🤫
How da fuck ur channel grow so fast
Bet
Dude blew up a whole planet
Thank you so much Broly gotta be my favorite character
otw?
I remember watching this as a kid, broly was a complete monster
That Broly movie is a classic.
Good editing 💯
It's annoying that they didn't explain in the movie that Goku wanted everyone's energy because he figured out that Broly had a weak spot. Goku punched Broly in the same spot King Vegeta stabbed him in, so no matter how powerful he became, that scar was his Achilles heel.
Not diving into that made it feel like the most undeserved win in anime history. The super spirit bomb on Buu was obviously the only option, but with Broly, it felt like the kind of ass-pull that they should've been doing with villians a long time ago that they used just for this one movie.
0:24 dbs broly has the dawg in him for absolutely destroying frieza for an hour straight😭
Mainly cos vegeta is the most relatable character
Toriyama wanted to kill him off after saiyan saga. But fans loved him so much that he was put as a main character. Toriyama has openly said he hates vegeta and the story is all about goku being the hero so its no suprise that he conatantly disrespects him in the writing.

@@ithoughtso.7016you should watch planet level’s “why vegeta can’t beat goku…” video. It perfectly explains vegeta’s character.
@@ithoughtso.7016it's the anxieties and complexes he has. Anyone who felt he's falling behind in life or had a situation that looks too difficult to be surmounted at first relates hard with Vegeta's thoughts when trying to turn super Saiyan for the first time or getting his shit together after 18 whoops him
