Bro THANK you I been sayin this for over 10 years. Bums keep actin like Broly was just some big dumbass brute. Broly has skill, power, speed, and techniques. That's what made him a mf demon.
He is the real Menace. Skilled, Powerful, knows how to destroy their opponents physically and mentally and has a transformation that is literally what the MC can do, BUT BETTER. The only thing “lacking” is the proper explanation to his motivation against Goku, but that’s resolved in the Japanese Dub. Broly just have a Aura Clash with Goku, not for hearing him crying as baby.
Bro, Shaq at 7'1" something was officially 325 lbs at his heaviest (unofficially, 415 lbs). Ronnie Coleman at 5'11" was 300-330 lbs during off-season. This Broly mf would be closer to 1000 lbs than 500 lbs lmao
If we use prime Ronnie Coleman, who had proportions fairly similar to LSSJ Broly, as our reference point, and assume that LSSJ Broly was 9 and a half feet tall, and assume they had the same density (unlikely, but we'll go with it), that puts Broly at 1242 lbs, at a minimum.

Besides, even with time, an injury like that will never 100% heal. It will always be a weak spot regardless. I mean they stabbed the stomach of a literal newborn with intent to kill.... Come on dude. Stop being illogical. It is Obviously an "Achilles heal" reference considering every other blow did absolutely nothing. And the one blow, that happens to be in the EXACT spot he was stabbed as a baby, is what leads to his defeat... Lemme just say... Top Tier Commentary! 😂😂 Top Tier analysis! Eff that. You may take the cake as far as having the greatest analytical eye to detail. This really gives a new sense of terror to DBZ Broly. His skill was as immense as his power 🥶😱
No backstory? He was supposed to be executed because his king was worried he would outshine his own infant son. He survives the execution. He and his father escape because of pure energy. When his father realized how out of control he was, he developed a device to control him, and it looks painful. He almost takes out his own dad. Then they seek revenge together on the bloodline that left them for dead. The only lame part is his hard-on for Goku because of the crying as babies and how he knows it's him as an adult... other than that, it sounds like a good backstory to me. 😅
That’s the thing while Z broly was more of a menace super broly is the bigger crash out 😭 that scene where goku and vegeta fly broly into frieza and broly is hulking right behind them whites eyes and everything bouta grab them till they instant transmission away is still my favorite frame of the movie. Broly being the crashout he is just started cooking what was available to him which was frieza and we all know how that went shit was diabolical made bro wanna train for the first time in his life.😂
You can’t tell me that goku didn’t have some insane plot armor to beat broly, there is literally no reason at all that broly lost, they showed him absolutely playing with the z fighters like children’s toys, he lost because plot demanded he lose
@@Glenroy64 broly lost due to plot him being a balloon and goku gaining enough power to beat him does not hold up at all, everyone there at full power could NOT hold a candle to broly, not even goku, a full power kamehameha to the face did fuck all to him, getting jumped and dodging literally everything and tanking everything, somehow they all give goku their power and he’s magically strong enough to damage him and one shot him, when not even 5 mins prior he was getting his teeth kicked in by broly
@@yes_man212 Yeah, that's just how cumulative power works in DBZ. It doesn't take much for a character in DBZ to severely outclass their enemy. Vegeta at 24,000 could shrug off anything Cui could do at 18,000, and easily one-shot him. SSJ Goku at 150,000,000 wrecked full power Frieza at 120,000,000. If all it takes is a 25% gap in power for someone to be utterly stomped, then Broly doesn't necessarily have to be much stronger than any of the Z-Fighters individually for him to stomp them as a whole. As an abstract, let's say Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Trunks are all around 10-15. Broly could be a 20 and easily stomp them all like he did in the movie. But add all their powers together, and they'd produce 50-75, way stronger than Broly. Even if we assume they were all at around half power, that'd still put their combined energy around 25-37, still strong enough to take out Broly.

Not only was this video entertaining, but it also gave me a new perspective on how Broly fights and some very interesting split-second details that have potential insights into how his powers work.
in the end, my headcanon is that goku transferred his power to broly, making him overload. in a previous scene, broly had to doscharge, so it made sense to me. there's no way in hell goku one tapped him after getting 12.5% power from the gang that cleaned the city with their faces 😂. At least in that android movie, he absorbed the spirit bomb to power up. . .
no you didnt watch the moovie, but in the moovie there is an important flash back, where you see king vegeta stabbing broly in the stomach, and right when goku hit him in the guts, the same exact flash back of this moment appears, so basicly its just a traumatisme that made him 'guard brake' also can't help to notice that he went ssj1 he is not in his legendary form anymore, maybe he was cocky and decided he would lower his power to have some fight after his power up because he knew that this power up wouldnt do shit in his legendary form? then he got suprised by the power+ the traumatizing thing ... he still didn't die after that tho, and in the moovie which follow cell's arc before buu, we can see and adult gohan, one important thing to note is that this gohan is not the gohan from the buu saga, in fact this gohan is the cell game gohan wich never stop training, so he is way stronger than goku when he defeated broly, but gohan still got owned by brolly LSSJ, which still imply that the power scaling are either failed, or broly did really just go ssj1 and wooped himself like this
@@Zeriaph he probably did, but again he wasnt trying at all, and even goku ssj2 gohan ssj2 and goten triple kamehameha didnt overcome broly sheer power, they needed trunks attack to cancel broly power supply to the attack and goku to set a timing for them to burst ki... and even then if it wasnt for the sun, broly would have survived 100%
What happened is pretty simple. Broly was about to explode of how much Ki he stored. Goku landed a lucky overchaged punch in his scar, Broly effectively killed himself.
@@streptococo4735 not true at all, goku punched broly where he got stabbed by vegeta father ! there is a fucking reason why they would instantly show us a flashback of that scene... also broly is not in LSSJ his hair are back to yellow, as i already told to somone else maybe he got cocky and wanted to have some more fun, but with goku power up, he got caugh off guard..... yet he didnt die !
Now that I think about it, the only Z-Fighters who walked away from this massacre relatively unscathed are Krillin and Master Roshi. Roshi getting literally too old for this, but Krill-dog didn't even try to square up lmao
@@raul5081Problem is that his talking consisted of the same hyper sadistic drivel that is common to almost all the Z villains. The best thing that varies about it is the specific flavor of it. Broly drifted closer to the murderous arrogance of perfect cell than the sarcastic, playful confidence of someone like Frieza.
It kinda makes sense that Broly gets defeated when Goku's punch opens Broly's stomach, because of all of that ki that suddenly 'finds a way out', causing him to explode, effectively. It's like there's way too much power in him, and the pressure just tears his body apart. We do see him releasing ki at one point, just to get rid of it, but I think that Goku's punch simply forced the ki to erupt out of him. He does survive this, however. Also, I don't think I've ever noticed how he quite literally rips out of his own body for his Bully transformation. Kinda like how a spider bursts out of its own skin to grow bigger, right? So what could've possibly happened upon his defeat, is that the ki destroyed his Bully morphology, but his normal form was still 'in there'. The escaping ki almost instantly forced him to go back to his normal self, but knocking him out in the process. That's how I'd make sense of his defeat, anyway. What doesn't make a whole lot of sense is how much punishment Goku endured. He should've been broken, several times over. It's cool though that having absorbed all of the other Z fighters' energy, it's really just potent enough for him to block a punch, out-manoeuvre Broly, and puncture his stomach. Even with Vegeta's energy it was barely enough to get the job done. But it's Goku, and I think he understood that if he wasn't going to finish the fight quickly; they'd all be done for. With the energy boost of Picolo, Trunks and Gohan; he still didn't stand much of a chance. So Goku's kinda brutal here, by necessity, but he does have the wherewithal to know he has to k!ll this guy immediately. It's one of my favorite DBZ movies, and easily my favorite DBZ movie antagonist.
I have 2 theories on those 1: Never explained or given a hint, but if you think about it, Goku basically threw an Genkidama on his guts, he strategically collected all the energy of the others to give Brully the final blow and make him explode, but certainly, he himself showed that is not easy to contain his own power and HAS to dry it a little 2: To be honest, even if the fight were brutal af, everyone forgets that Goku is pretty darn strong, but probably, he were using his ki to protect himself at some point to endure it, until the stupid prince of space chimps gave him his energy, so he could release and max out all of their energy at the same time
A well sound perspective but the energy was more potent than that. He asked for it from the start of the bout because it supplied a huge level of defense. It’s the only way to explain how goku survived such punishment. Tbh once broly jumped on his body he shouldn’t have been able to move on some vegeta/great ape type damage without a senzu bean. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say goku still of course was written in a way to win and it wasn’t the best written. Here’s what I think If broly didn’t have that ptsd flash back when gokus fist made contact, he would’ve taken the punch like a regular fight. In that moment was the only time in the fight since hes been transformed where he was mentally compromised. He was even sound when killing his own father. I think he was frozen completely because he couldn’t believe Goku matched his energy even being a legend and it kicked back that feeling of weakness for the first time in probably a long time of him as a baby. Goku took advantage of this moment of weakness to push through. Their energy was evenly matched when brolys punch was caught but Goku weaved with a clean hit cause he’s a great martial artist, but he was able to compromise brolys energy because broly himself was compromised in that moment, therefore his energy followed suit and was weakened which is why his legendary shell explodes and he returns still alive in second coming. lol of course energy wise this is why we say it makes no sense lol, broly was so powerful. The spirit bomb from the android 13 movie would’ve made more sense than broken z warriors giving they crumbs to help goku survive one of the most one sided beat downs of its series, and that’s assuming broly won’t make it in time to take em out before it charges lol that’s dragon ball for you though lol.
@@a-kil5646 I like your feedback, both of you. It contributes in that it offers more insight into what's happening during the fight, even if it's all a bit hypothetical. But that's also what makes it fun; the lack of exposition and explanation in the movie itself. Goku using Trunks, Gohan and Picolo's energy to protect himself against Broly's onslaught, and then condensing Vegeta's additional energy into one explosive punch, while Broly's momentarily seriously rattled by Goku's resilience and determination.

broly the real first ultra instinct user. they prolly took this idea and put infinite dodges on whiz😂😂😂
BRO that COCO MELON AT 3:14. Broly blasted the preschool education outta my boy G-han😂😂😂😂😂
I never realized those barrage of hits didn't connect. I always thought he was just absorbing it lol good video
Z Broly forever the GOAT!
6:26 Legit a dark observation. Man is getting literally hanged by his own drip.
This movie was it's own worse enemy. They made Broly so far above our fighters that whatever way they would actually beat him would make no sense and be absolutely stupid. Then he gets one punched.
Yeaaaa kinda like a 'spirit bomb' punch, homage to earlier movies way of beating the villain, because they did NOT know how to have Broly defeated and they even admitted so!
Would've made more sense if Goku or Piccolo realized that Broly could've been overloaded with Ki instead of it seemingly being a draw of the luck moment
@@miky9504 Broly wasn't overloaded though, he was in a perfect, natural, controlled state, he was in his real form that he feels most comfortable in. It shows through the entire fighting sequence, so that wouldn't make much sense either.
@@Anegor His body keeps producing ki at all times, that's why he needed to expel it, flying up in the air and shooting stray ki blasts everywhere. That's where the line "My Ki is rising. It's overflowing!" comes from, said by a pained and panting Broly.
Yo! "He realized he not built for this💀" with the Bengal Tiger's face nearly killed me!! Comedic Gold editing Phangito. Bravo!!! 👍
I think people call Broly a brute because of Second Coming. By that point, he's basically gone crazy (or rather, crazier) and lost most of his sense.
It makes sense he became insane he almost died 2nd time
Bro was in a coma and survived through nothing but pure HATE, just growing and growing and growing for decades until it was all he was. Literally the same as kratos in GOW 2 kept getting angrier and angrier until that's all he was.
My theory is that the years he spent frozen in ice aided to ruin his mind, but I feel that he was slowly regaining his senses as his fight with Gohan progressed. If he won that fight, I think he might have actually become his regular self in another planet.
@@barditooficialytbr Not a bad theory honestly.
"We've seen Vegeta take some L's but this is by far the worst"

Nah the craziest thing was that not only was Broly stronger, more durable, and had more ki/power than the Z Fighters, but he was FAST. Like him weaving Piccolo and Goku at the same time with his giant arms FOLDED was crazy!

‘Z BULLY’ is a perfect alternative to describe this menace
1:20 He had the sad look because that when he realized Goku wasn’t really about it 🤣
"Kakarot isn't a worthy opponent. This battle will not be legendary." 😔
Even in this he literally fights everyone so I never understood that as criticism
14:06 It is way more painful when you realize that the average weight for some with a height of 9”10 is somewhere between 300-400 pounds…..
@@raul5081 Crazy….. Now I really feel bad for Goku.
19:07 There was absolutely no reason for exposing Gogeta’s hairline like that 😭. Hoed that man
7:16 That's what it was; he was getting stronger but his kid was also overflowing. That one line of him getting much stronger was mistranslated in the dub.
@@Dark-Niks actually It make sense when you think about that. Look, the dude was so strong that he constatly need to release his energy, even him suffer from his almost " unlimited power " and when you think about that, it's a weakness.
Broly suffer because of his own power, and never learn how the control It. And plus, he doesn't really know how to fight, he's more like a tank 😂
My theory is : When Goku defeated him, his punch was enough powerful to hurt Broly in his Lssj form, and all his overflowing energy was released at once, and he exploded

Sad how so many people here missed the point that Goku punched Broly in his weak spot, the spot where he was stabbed in the stomach as a baby....
Not to mention that Goku is the frickin' KING of gut punches.
I just thought goko had a hidden shiv to stab him
This was never confirmed by the creator/writer so...thats headcanon
@@zelohendricks51 It doesn't have to be... We literally watch it happen in the goddamn film..... Why would they choose to have Broly get stabbed as a baby as the way to kill him, when they could have literally did anything else... ( you know like Ki blast him, crush him, throw him into space, on even just leave him in a dump). The knife being used was intentional for a purpose.... An all powerful, unbeatable foe, with one small point that ends them quickly....It is obvious man.... I'll admit, at first glance, it's easy to miss the nuance. He had no ruths. He was ruthless.

Plot armor did Broly dirty
HES BACK ! MY GOODNESS I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS - THANK YOU MY FRIEND
You can’t tell me that goku didn’t have some insane plot armor to beat broly, there is literally no reason at all that broly lost, they showed him absolutely playing with the z fighters like children’s toys, he lost because plot demanded he lose
Broly lost because he was a balloon but nobody was enough to damage him so Goku became strong enough to do so, he popped
@@infinitesheldon5710 goku and frieza is a massive power gap a full 30million more than frieza, that would make way more sense than having broly who is collectively and casually curb stomping every single z fighter all with a grin on his face, goku also nearly got killed by a little laser beam from a ring/braclet(i forget what that little melon head fuck was using “return of frieza” movie) and see we all know goku and vegeta are the 2 strongest on the planet minus broly, vegetas attacks were getting tanked, goku and piccolo were getting a taste of ultra instinct by broly, gohan and princess trunks couldn’t even get solid hits in and were getting dog walked into beams n buildings, goku absorbing a spirit bomb makes more sense to amp his power in order to utterly one shot broly, mind you the z fighters were also nearly passed out from fighting they had very little power left amongst them all, and they gave the rest they could to goku, and plot kicked in and broly somehow gets one shot and exploded, nothing can excuse the blatant plot armor goku has had throughout the years, i love dragon ball but sometimes you have to call stuff out
Stop trying to justify this. Goku gaining more power from people who didn't have enough power to do anything even when jumping him. It makes no Sense. It was definitely plot armor to make the movie end. @@infinitesheldon5710

there's no way in hell goku one tapped him after getting 12.5% power from the gang that cleaned the city with their faces 😂.

@@raul5081Problem is that his talking consisted of the same hyper sadistic drivel that is common to almost all the Z villains. The best thing that varies about it is the specific flavor of it. Broly drifted closer to the murderous arrogance of perfect cell than the sarcastic, playful confidence of someone like Frieza.
this the vid that made me sub fr the commentary is hilarious
I have 2 theories on those
1: Never explained or given a hint, but if you think about it, Goku basically threw an Genkidama on his guts, he strategically collected all the energy of the others to give Brully the final blow and make him explode, but certainly, he himself showed that is not easy to contain his own power and HAS to dry it a little
2: To be honest, even if the fight were brutal af, everyone forgets that Goku is pretty darn strong, but probably, he were using his ki to protect himself at some point to endure it, until the stupid prince of space chimps gave him his energy, so he could release and max out all of their energy at the same time
A well sound perspective but the energy was more potent than that.
Here’s what I think
If broly didn’t have that ptsd flash back when gokus fist made contact, he would’ve taken the punch like a regular fight.
That was the Area Broly was stabbed as a Baby
