Yeah. It was the Times. Now it regarded as too taxing for the power it provides and goku skips it now ,going from SSJ2 to SSJG(sup saiyan god). The raw power difference between 2 and 3 is massive but the speed doesn't change much, there is a slight increasein agility but its 5 times as taxing on his body as it eats away at his stamina and energy more than super sayain god and blue (thats crazy) which is why he never uses it. But some people feel like it has the most potential as it hasnt been built upon like ssj2 and all the different variations it achieves and the fact that ssj3 hasnt been developed even though it very much could.

I disagree with the notion that tails would be useless, as it can be used in fighting as another limb to grab onto something. I liked that GT included the tail to help with the SSJ forms to be even better (SSJ3 with less stamina issues and of course, Golden Great Ape and SSJ4). It's a shame we don't have the tails anymore as it added a unique quality to the Saiyans.

You might have wrong idea when watching Hyourinjutsu It only acted like a switch to turn into Great Ape with the moon light as the power source. The moment a Saiyan was strong enough, the body would eject the tail. Saiyan like Broly Super can use the power of Great Ape in human form without the tail

About Super Saiyan 4: Saiyans CAN transform into this form at will after achieving it, but they NEED a tail. Vegeta didn't have one, so he needed Bulma's blutz waves machine.
@@JMproductions7 Well, SSJ4 IS a misleading term tbh, because it is not a direct evolution from SSJ3. It's a combination between a SSJ and the power of an Oozaru. It's more, like a Primal Super Saiyan.
I feel like most of the hate the beast form gets is because it has no cannon explanation as to what it is. To me, the beast form is a product of Gohan's heritage, being the son of a saiyan and the daughter of the Ox-King, who was seemingly a being beyond normal humans in the original Dragon Ball series. The way I see it, the beast form is Gohan finally accepting both his saiyan nature and his special human nature, culminating in a truly unique form that has an unknown potential if mastered
My headcanon is that the beast transformation is not actually a Sayan transformation, but a HUMAN transformation. It's just that a human would need to be VERY powerful to be able to achieve this form in the first place, making it impossible for regular humans to achieve. Maybe in the future we can get to see a fusion of android 17 and 18 where they get strong enough to achieve Gohan's beast form
@@Gangster_Mario i respect your way of thinking, but i think these transformations are much more due to the saiyan genetics being compatible with transformations like that, most probably cuz of the S-cells and their nature (like the way saiyans have unique transformations when influenced by god ki and techniques such as UI and UE)

I once heard that the explanation for the SSJ Rose color was caused by the type of divine Ki used, in the case of Saiyans, they use Saiyan divine Ki, causing SSJ God and SSJ Blue, but Goku Black, uses Kaioshin divine Ki, causing SSJ Rose. I don't know if this is canon or something, but I headcanon it.
I thought it had something to do with ki manipulation, kinda like how freezer took on a golden form to resemble the ssj, I thought black chose to go for a pink/rosé for style or smthn

Zamasu already had an extensive knowledge about God Ki considering he’s had it his entire life. I thought that SSJR was just Zamasu knowing extensively how God Ki works and applying it to SSGSS transformation in his own way. My theory only increased due to Xenoverse 2’s DLC quest. When Goku, in Zamasu’s body, failed at first to summon a spirit bomb to defeat Goku Black. Goku Black said something along the lines of “You don’t know how that body works!” Which means that either yes, it could just be that Goku doesn’t exactly know how Zamasu’s body functions at all. Or Goku wasn’t used to having all God Ki instead of tapping into God Ki using his mortal ki’s power.

You are more or less right, the SSR and SSB are technically the same thing, a super saiyan god super saiyan (SSGSS) and the only difference between then is the nature of the user's ki. A god doesnt have to have divine ki, for example king kai is a god but his ki is ordinary, and a mortal with divine ki is not a god (goku is called "mortal" while in SSB) When a god achives the super saiyan of super saiyan god, his hair become pink instead of blue. For example, if goku had become kami in the original DB when kami offered it, his blue would have been rose, and if vegeta evee becomes a god of destruction his blue will become rose

Goku uses the power of the angels, Vegeta uses the power of the gods, Gohan relies more on he’s human roots through supreme kai training while Trunks relies more on he’s saiyan roots through supreme kai training. Much prefer it like this because it makes it that more unique.
True, but I don’t think the creators are thinking about that, except maybe Toriyama (RIP). They had the angle of ($$$) and wanted to make more action figures and more buzz. I hope that things change, and Dragon ball goes back to making more sense so I can continue my childhood even as I become More of an adult

My personal headcanon is that Beast Gohan is the Super Saiyan Blue equivalent for the Kai's divine Ki. If you think about it, Ultimate Gohan was the first form in the series that came from a divine being, so technically, it's divine Ki.

beast isnt a super saiyan transformation, take note its not "Super Saiyan Beast" . Beast is an evolution of Gohan Mystic (Dubbed Ultimate Gohan) after he had his potential unlocked. It is likely a result of what happens when a Saiyan surpasses the power received by the kais.

Gotta disagree with U here. Indeed it isn't a "Super Saiyan" transformation, but it is still a purely Saiyan transformation. He trained with no Kai's for this and it has zero trace of divine ki so that leaves raw Saiyan power. Gohan just left the Super off the Beast name. Beast Gohan is a different kind of primal power. Like Broly from example.
So to give some context to Beast because of how abhorrently none we got in the movie, and mind you these are SPOILERS for the dragon ball manga thats currently running so for those who would like to remain in the dark i'd recommend not reading on (although the video already has spoilers for things like Ultra Ego so i doubt theres many ppl like that, but just in case) Beast isn't a Super Saiyan form, its a continuation of Gohan's Ultimate form he got once Kai unlocked his full potential. Gohan has stated he doesn't want to keep following the path of a Saiyan and wants to make his own path instead, similarly to how everyone else atm is going down their own path. This was horribly explained in the movie because in the animation version of dragon ball (which differes from the manga in a good number of ways), Gohan hasn't been training for a long-ass time, then we suddenly got this new form because 'oh ye i've been training off-screen'. In the manga, hes been training since before the ToP, hence by the time of Superhero hes been able to evolve his Ultimate form into Beast. You could call it a 'human' form, some people in the fandom are saying its the path of Kai's, regardless, its not connected to being a saiyan

Throw baby in river to make it swin vs teaching it how to swin instead of making it work off instinct. Also the U6 Saiyans have an absurd amount of S cells and a very strong base form which makes them much more likely to trigger the form. Its wild how they didnt find it before U6 vs U7
Most likely because they are so peaceful, they rarely had to have a serious life or death fight. Hence no chance to trigger extreme emotion needed for the transforamtion

Outside of Vegeta's one and only SSJ4 transformation. There were never any mention of the Saiyans needing an additional dose of Blutz wave to do another transformation. Vegeta only asked for another does as he was out of energy and he thought a second does would do the trick.

I really like that they have their own ultimate transformations. It brings variety whereas before how strong you were entirely depended on how strong of a super saiyan you could be. I'm thrilled Orange Piccolo and Beast Gohan make it so Goku and Vegeta aren't the only powerful characters in the new meta. but to each their own.

I have a theory about Trunks' 'Rage' form. It goes like this: when Trunks transforms into Rage, he first becomes that third-grade Super Saiyan. Then, when he taps into god ki, that divine energy evens out the muscles, making it a usable form. But because of all that Super Saiyan energy, it overflows out of Trunks' body. So basically, it's a Super Saiyan Blue with more Super Saiyan energy than Super Saiyan God energy. And on the opposite, Ssj Blue evolution is an evolution of ssj god, it's a ssj blue with more god ki than ssj energy.
If every character is getting a personal transformation (even future Trunks got ikari and Frieza got gold and black), should we expect something for Goten in the future?
SS Beast can be seen as an evolution to the SS2 form, just like SS Rage/Ikari. Gohan resembles Teen Gohan SS2 form while on SS Beast, he was even wearing the same gi and fighting the same opponent. The movie was a throwback to the end of cell saga and Gohan's ability to get stronger purely by rage.
I don’t think ultimate form and beast is restricted to just saiyans. In xenoverse 2, they can both be learned (ultimate is called potential unleashed) and they can both be used by all races of CAC. It’s just that only Gohan is able to use them in the show.

They could have given the non-sayian characters like namekians, androids, majin, & humans the other techniques and forms like god-ki, hakai, kaioken while saiyans exclusively kept the super Saiyan transformations.
I’d like the uniqueness if all the characters got the same forms as well but used them for their preferences and personality qualms. Like there’s no reason goku can’t learn ultra ego, but he likely would hate using it due to the necessary mindstate for it. It’s just not who he is. Battles and characters would be more interesting if Ultra Ego/Instinct weren’t basically the same transformation for two separate characters. It would show a lot more about who a character is and their personality and motivations based on their choice of transformation during battle. Could also make for some dramatically badass moments when a character decides to use something that completely against who they are. Like can you imagine how cold it would be to have a villain enrage goku enough to just go ultra ego and absolutely vaporize him without mercy?
I kinda agree. Goku and vegeta getting ssj2 was already sort of taking away from Gohans achievement just previously. And thats why DBZ already kinda started giving characters their own thing by the end of it, to a less extent like ssj3 for goku and majin vegeta, even though they are not unique to them in a technical sense, and esp ultimate gohan.

Fun fact: 1:53 This wrong, this is a theory that arose in reedit due to a misinterpretation of the manga panels, King kai says that goku is already using the Kaio ken x10, while a panel of Goku in his base state is shown, this is a mistake since the fight is not happening at the same time as the explanation, The anime corrected this error by adding the Kaio Ken aura at the same time as the explanation of King Kai occurred Nice video.

The false super Saiyan form. It is actually the original design for super Saiyan and it was for that movie. It was only later that he decided to make it blonde easier to draw so he didn't have to shade in the hair every time and to make it look different from his base form.

Wrathful is also known as Ikar, and the canon version of lssj is full power ssj for Broly and ssj berserk for Kale. Also, Broly didn't use the controlled ssj berserk, he just used a controlled ssj (not full power ssj) which he couldn't control in the movie. And Beast is faster and stronger than perfected UI, but is hard to control like full power ssj.
Full power ssj is bullshit and a name that makes no sense broly is the legendary ssj the form is legendary cause he's the only one that uses it cause he's a mutant

You’re thinking of One Piece. It is canonical that Luffy’s blood circulation speeds up significantly in Gear 2, which gives him a red tinge. In this form, Luffy uses his rubbery body to pump blood through his veins at an accelerated rate, increasing his speed and power. This rapid blood flow causes his body to heat up, resulting in the reddish hue you mentioned. You’re confusing that with DBZ. Maybe Toriama stated it elsewhere but I don’t recall hearing that in a film or episode of Dragonball.
Kale's controlled legendary form was flat-out stated to be stronger than back when she was berserk. As to why she was able to beat up SSj blue Goku before - it's implied that SSj Blue lets one modify their powerlevel freely, just like mastered regular Super Saiyan does. Goku was overusing the transformation a lot earlier on, but rarely fighting at its peak power.
(I'm assuming Semi-Super Saiyan is Super Saiyan Power iirc) Wasn't it a coloring error? Or was it canonized to be its own unique form I'm not entirely sure if it was or not. (Also didn't expect to see you here, big fan)

The only problem i see is Gohan catching up to ultra instinct just like that but then again this is Dragon Ball, power levels are a mess and you have to be one too to care about them

Legendary super saiyan for DBS Broly was so stupid. He just randomly transformed into it while fighting Gogeta without any explanation or foreshadowing, and Gogeta doesnt even have any surprised reaction to it. Gogeta doesn't question what that form is or how he achieved it or anything. They just assumed we've seen the Z version of Broly and that we would make sense of it ourselves.

It's a totally different and untrlated Broly. I should be able to watch the DBS Broly movie and understand everything even if I haven't watched the Z version. DBZ Broly is not where I should go look for guidance as DBZ Broly doesn't exist. That would be the same as trying to explain certain scenes scenarios from Super using GT content. The only actual cannon character who has had this transformation prior to DBS Broly is Kale. What relation does DBS Broly have with Kale? Why did he get the same form as her?
I hate assuming because we all know when you assume but since Goku is a Saiyan, he pretty much mastered it by losing to it due to the strain on his body. Example from DBZ Vegeta losing Zarbon remember to get back😂😂😂😂 but again I'm just assuming why he put it in here😂😂😂😂😂

I feel like most of the hate the beast form gets is because it has no cannon explanation as to what it is. To me, the beast form is a product of Gohan's heritage, being the son of a saiyan and the daughter of the Ox-King, who was seemingly a being beyond normal humans in the original Dragon Ball series. The way I see it, the beast form is Gohan finally accepting both his saiyan nature and his special human nature, culminating in a truly unique form that has an unknown potential if mastered
My headcanon is that the beast transformation is not actually a Sayan transformation, but a HUMAN transformation.
It's just that a human would need to be VERY powerful to be able to achieve this form in the first place, making it impossible for regular humans to achieve.
Maybe in the future we can get to see a fusion of android 17 and 18 where they get strong enough to achieve Gohan's beast form

I once heard that the explanation for the SSJ Rose color was caused by the type of divine Ki used, in the case of Saiyans, they use Saiyan divine Ki, causing SSJ God and SSJ Blue, but Goku Black, uses Kaioshin divine Ki, causing SSJ Rose. I don't know if this is canon or something, but I headcanon it.

Because, canonically, Goku and Vegeta were tapping into the God forms mimicking God Ki. Zamasu already had an extensive knowledge about God Ki considering he’s had it his entire life.

My theory only increased due to Xenoverse 2’s DLC quest. When Goku, in Zamasu’s body, failed at first to summon a spirit bomb to defeat Goku Black.

You are more or less right, the SSR and SSB are technically the same thing, a super saiyan god super saiyan (SSGSS) and the only difference between then is the nature of the user's ki.
A god doesnt have to have divine ki, for example king kai is a god but his ki is ordinary, and a mortal with divine ki is not a god (goku is called "mortal" while in SSB)
When a god achives the super saiyan of super saiyan god, his hair become pink instead of blue. For example, if goku had become kami in the original DB when kami offered it, his blue would have been rose, and if vegeta evee becomes a god of destruction his blue will become rose

Goku uses the power of the angels, Vegeta uses the power of the gods, Gohan relies more on he’s human roots through supreme kai training while Trunks relies more on he’s saiyan roots through supreme kai training. Much prefer it like this because it makes it that more unique.

My personal headcanon is that Beast Gohan is the Super Saiyan Blue equivalent for the Kai's divine Ki. If you think about it, Ultimate Gohan was the first form in the series that came from a divine being, so technically, it's divine Ki.

beast isnt a super saiyan transformation, take note its not "Super Saiyan Beast" . Beast is an evolution of Gohan Mystic (Dubbed Ultimate Gohan) after he had his potential unlocked. It is likely a result of what happens when a Saiyan surpasses the power received by the kais.

He trained with no Kai's for this and it has zero trace of divine ki so that leaves raw Saiyan power. Gohan just left the Super off the Beast name. Beast Gohan is a different kind of primal power. So to give some context to Beast because of how abhorrently none we got in the movie, and mind you these are SPOILERS for the dragon ball manga thats currently running so for those who would like to remain in the dark i'd recommend not reading on (although the video already has spoilers for things like Ultra Ego so i doubt theres many ppl like that, but just in case)
Beast isn't a Super Saiyan form, its a continuation of Gohan's Ultimate form he got once Kai unlocked his full potential. Gohan has stated he doesn't want to keep following the path of a Saiyan and wants to make his own path instead, similarly to how everyone else atm is going down their own path. This was horribly explained in the movie because in the animation version of dragon ball (which differes from the manga in a good number of ways), Gohan hasn't been training for a long-ass time, then we suddenly got this new form because 'oh ye i've been training off-screen'. In the manga, hes been training since before the ToP, hence by the time of Superhero hes been able to evolve his Ultimate form into Beast. You could call it a 'human' form, some people in the fandom are saying its the path of Kai's, regardless, its not connected to being a saiyan
Path of kais or human form? Neither...kais are divine beings with jus divine ki, if it was jus gohan undergoing a kai influenced transformation, then it should really jus be super saiyan god. But its not that. I jus take it as a gohan being a anolamy, saiyan blood & human blood created a hybrid so his godly transformation took a different state that being Super saiyan beast or whatever.

Outside of Vegeta's one and only SSJ4 transformation. There were never any mention of the Saiyans needing an additional dose of Blutz wave to do another transformation.
Vegeta only asked for another does as he was out of energy and he thought a second does would do the trick.

I have a theory about Trunks' 'Rage' form. It goes like this: when Trunks transforms into Rage, he first becomes that third-grade Super Saiyan. Then, when he taps into god ki, that divine energy evens out the muscles, making it a usable form. But because of all that Super Saiyan energy, it overflows out of Trunks' body. So basically, it's a Super Saiyan Blue with more Super Saiyan energy than Super Saiyan God energy. And on the opposite, Ssj Blue evolution is an evolution of ssj god, it's a ssj blue with more god ki than ssj energy.

Gohan resembles Teen Gohan SS2 form while on SS Beast, he was even wearing the same gi and fighting the same opponent.
The movie was a throwback to the end of cell saga and Gohan's ability to get stronger purely by rage.
I don’t think ultimate form and beast is restricted to just saiyans. In xenoverse 2, they can both be learned (ultimate is called potential unleashed) and they can both be used by all races of CAC. It’s just that only Gohan is able to use them in the show.

I’d like the uniqueness if all the characters got the same forms as well but used them for their preferences and personality qualms. Like there’s no reason goku can’t learn ultra ego, but he likely would hate using it due to the necessary mindstate for it. It’s just not who he is.
Battles and characters would be more interesting if Ultra Ego/Instinct weren’t basically the same transformation for two separate characters. It would show a lot more about who a character is and their personality and motivations based on their choice of transformation during battle.
Could also make for some dramatically badass moments when a character decides to use something that completely against who they are. Like can you imagine how cold it would be to have a villain enrage goku enough to just go ultra ego and absolutely vaporize him without mercy?
I kinda agree. Goku and vegeta getting ssj2 was already sort of taking away from Gohans achievement just previously. And thats why DBZ already kinda started giving characters their own thing by the end of it, to a less extent like ssj3 for goku and majin vegeta, even though they are not unique to them in a technical sense, and esp ultimate gohan.

Fun fact: 1:53 This wrong, this is a theory that arose in reedit due to a misinterpretation of the manga panels, King kai says that goku is already using the Kaio ken x10, while a panel of Goku in his base state is shown, this is a mistake since the fight is not happening at the same time as the explanation, The anime corrected this error by adding the Kaio Ken aura at the same time as the explanation of King Kai occurred

The false super Saiyan form. It is actually the original design for super Saiyan and it was for that movie. It was only later that he decided to make it blonde easier to draw so he didn't have to shade in the hair every time and to make it look different from his base form.

Wrathful is also known as Ikar, and the canon version of lssj is full power ssj for Broly and ssj berserk for Kale. Also, Broly didn't use the controlled ssj berserk, he just used a controlled ssj (not full power ssj) which he couldn't control in the movie. And Beast is faster and stronger than perfected UI, but is hard to control like full power ssj.
Full power ssj is bullshit and a name that makes no sense broly is the legendary ssj the form is legendary cause he's the only one that uses it cause he's a mutant

Kale's controlled legendary form was flat-out stated to be stronger than back when she was berserk. As to why she was able to beat up SSj blue Goku before - it's implied that SSj Blue lets one modify their powerlevel freely, just like mastered regular Super Saiyan does. Goku was overusing the transformation a lot earlier on, but rarely fighting at its peak power.

Legendary super saiyan for DBS Broly was so stupid. He just randomly transformed into it while fighting Gogeta without any explanation or foreshadowing, and Gogeta doesnt even have any surprised reaction to it. Gogeta doesn't question what that form is or how he achieved it or anything. They just assumed we've seen the Z version of Broly and that we would make sense of it ourselves.

been trying to become a Super Saiyan since 1991 ! been raised in a peaceful environment and been angry so many times but still, no luck. maybe this channel will help a 38 year old to attain this.
